Chapter 2 Worst night of my life

I felt his hot breath on my neck as he used his free hand to touch my body. I struggled to break free but quickly realized I was not strong enough and I had drunk too much.

I bit his hand and was quickly thrown into the wall and hit my head. This made me dizzy and lightheaded.

I could feel his gross hands touching me and then felt his lips on my neck.

I tried to focus and scream but when I tried, nothing came out of my mouth. I felt defeated and knew that I was going to be raped by this guy in a dark alley.

"See how much better it is if you don't struggle?" He said.

When he spoke, I realized it was the creep from the bar earlier.

"Looks like your boyfriend isn't here to save you this time!" he proclaimed.

I shuttered when I realized he was right. No one knew where I was. I didn't have a boyfriend. I was all alone.

He started unzipping my pants and pulling them down when someone grabbed him off of me. I quickly pulled my pants back up and tried gaining my composure.

I saw the person who saved me punching the creep in the face.

I wanted to get up and run home as quick as I could. I stood up too quickly and the last thing I remember was passing out.

I slowly opened my eyes, they were blurry. I had a splitting headache. I remembered what had happened before I passed out and sat up quickly.

I felt someone touch my arm to calm me down, but I freaked out and started screaming. I didn't know who was touching me. It could be that pervert for all I knew.

I looked to the person sitting next to me. It was dark and I was still pretty drunk, so I was seeing double. I realized it was not the guy that assaulted me but the guy who saved me.

This man had this enchantment about him. I tried my hardest to focus and get a good look at him and then he spoke.

"Do you want me to take you to the hospital or police station?" His voice was even more magical than his face.

I just realized I was in the backseat of a car and at this point, I just wanted to go home. I want to take a shower and lay in my own bed and forget this happened.

"Can you just take me home please? I live close by." I asked him.

"Are you sure you do not want to go to the hospital and get the bump on your head checked out? He asked.

I told him that I just wanted to go home. "Tell the driver your address." He said. At this point I realized the person sitting behind the wheel. I gave him the address and we arrived at my apartment shortly thereafter.

Before I got out of the car I said, "Thank you for saving me and bringing me home. I will find a way to repay you.”

I went to get out of the car but tripped and fell. I felt so embarrassed. Just as I went to stand up, I was picked up with ease.

"I will make sure you get to your apartment safely." He put his arm around my waist and helped me walk to my apartment.

I struggled to get my keys out of my purse. He grabbed it from me, took the keys out and opened the door for me. I walked in and turned on the lights.

This was the first time I could see him clearly. He was very handsome. My heart skipped a beat when I looked in his eyes. He made me feel safe and comfortable after what happened to me tonight.

I looked at him and asked, "Will you stay a while?"

He looked at me but did not answer, he seemed confused by my very forward question.

"I just want to take a shower and I feel scared to be alone." I felt I needed to explain myself.

He didn't say anything, just nodded.

I quickly ran to the bathroom and hopped under the hot water. I had scratches and hickeys on my skin. I scrubbed them in hopes of getting them off, but it just made it worse.

As the running water was trickling down my face, I got lost in the thought of what could have been if this mysterious man did not save me.

Then I realized that I also did not know this man who was in my apartment! What if he was here to hurt me. Thinking of this, I quickly shut off the water and got dressed.

I opened the door and walked out to the living room. As soon as I saw him, the feeling of despair was quickly gone and replaced with excitement.

He was sitting quietly on the sofa watching the news on TV.

I don't know why this man made me feel so calm, but he did.

I walked over to him and sat next to him on the sofa.

He looked at me and asked, "Do you feel better?"

I looked at him and nodded.

"I should get going" he said as he went to get up, but I didn't want him to leave. I pulled him back down. Without any hesitation in my mind and I kissed him.
