Who is he?

"Why would you allow him treat you that way? Why would you allow him to say all that and you didn't say anything, I saw the video and I had to rush here, are you good? Are you okay? The nerve of that jerk!"

She said as she dropped her bag and went on to the kitchen.

She grabbed a bottle of water and chucked it all before squeezing the life out of it and staring at the door, I hugged her from behind as I smiled but instead tears fell.

"Listen, you do not allow people walk on you like dirt or a piece of rag, I understand you not saying anything to Mrs. Bond but him?

I should have poured water on him, you should have to, who is he anyway Esther? Lisa asked in rage.

"I didn't ask earlier on, is he your boyfriend or crush perhaps? I don't even care, he said too much!" Lisa continued

"oh, definitely not but he is the son of Mrs. Bond, the woman who had a lot to say about me" I replied her softly as remembering what had happened made me feel bad.

"You know it is a good thing that I came here on time" She said as she gasped.

he came here for something I mean, so what did he say? " Lisa asked as she reduced her pace and tried to calm down.

"Yeah, he said he came to offer me a job in respect of what his mum did and how she yelled at me, his main goal was that I wouldn't press charges" I said.

"Okay, that is normal and acceptable, he did come by himself but his choice of words aren't right, will you accept the job or not?" Lisa asked me and I didn't know what to do.

"I don't know what to do, should I accept the job and be his secretary?" I really don't want that I thought to myself, he seems harsh and hostile and he seems like a jerk and he said a lot.

"I know but work place isn't so favorable for everyone, we just do it for the pay actually" Lisa said as she tried to calm me down and make me understand that the business world is like that and can get tricky and I should grab the opportunity and build myself, I understand her though.

"Lisa, as a secretary, there are a few things you should do, I brought a book about how to be a secretary, let me read them to you because you will accept the job and I will groom you, we should milk them at least .

At work you should not mix it with emotions, Don't mix work with emotions.

"Okay, let me think about it, I should" I said to Lisa.

"I have a date with Gerald, you know my boyfriend so I should go see him if you are stable now" Lisa said and I know how hard it is hard for her to see him, with their busy schedules and how things seem hard for both of them

"Definitely Lisa, I totally understand I will think about it" I said to her.

She left in a while, I went watch my tv series,"Business proposal.

Before I knew it, it was six pm, I stood up and went on to prepare dinner. I was going to make my favorite. Potatoes and chicken.

I know she went on a date but eating my favourite dinner would make me feel light and forget about today.

I prepared the dinner and just then Lisa comes in.

"I can smell the potatoes from a mile away! Is it what I am thinking? Honey coated chicken and potatoes?" she said with a cheery voice and in a happy tone.

"Yes, you are right, be go and freshen while I prepare the table, it will eight soon, we should watch our movie" I said to her.

In a few minutes I arranged the table and as I was about to sit down, I spotted my wet files and I remembered all that happened, I sighed as I knew I would actually to do the job, I was only feeling nervous and not ready.

But it is now or ever, if I am being reasonable and realistic, I should know that Mrs. Bond will never allow a nobody like me so I agreed and I made up my mind to be his secretary. I mean what is the worse that can happen, Nothing!!!!

It is not like I will be his wife some day, I should work in my dream company.

"Lisa, i will work there!" I said as she was approaching the table, immediately i said this, her face lit up and she smiled.
