Maya Bond and her daughter in law point of view

"What do you mean by A CHANCE?" Mrs. Bond yelled and it was so loud that everyone heard in that hall.

"Both, my husband and i felt since you are friends with miss Patricia and since they are so many benefits that can be gained and it would be a nice and profitable deal, we signed it at once. We did plan to tell you but he said we should hold on and wait till today before telling you anything." Esther said as she looked at her mother in law.

"FELT? That is what you are going with, you both FELT?

If i ran my company, oh wait.

If my late husband and I had ran our company on feelings do you think we would have have where we are today?! You just acted based of what you thought and not on actual things, did you know her company once went bankrupt or the frauds that her company has been accused of? Do you know how much it would cost to get rid of their bad image or even to make sure that they make us go bankrupt? Did you know any better?

I should have never allowed my son to get married to you, no I should have never allowed you to be his secretary or be his girlfriend, since the day i saw you i knew you were nothing but bad luck, trouble and everything that should be avoided, How on earth did my son end up with you.

"FELT," No proper research, no proper investigation, you didn't ask questions.

And to think she had to tell me her self in the most horrible way, Patricia to someone like me? Impossible.

"What do you have to say about this? Tell me? Mrs Bond asked her daughter in law Esther.

"We actually, I mean Alex and I did some research and we think we can maneuver around all her bad habits and make it work" She replied and her mother in law scoffed at the attempt to give her an explanation, she shooked her head in frustration

"You can not even own up to it yourself right? She said as she sat on her chair and crossed her legs

you had to bring in my son who is currently on a business trip, for our sake, for the company sakeyou cannot own up to your own actions, this is the same reason why i never liked you ever since the day i met you, not only can you not stand up for yourself but now you will involve my only son into your drama? A simple deal that you could have waited for me to check!! What is this? an high school where you asked to defend your project and you can't, Oh my God. Esther use your Head, i should have never allowed my son to marry you, all you are doing is just causing a nuisance and being a burden to me, and being a burden to everyone else.

'This has been the way you are been, ever since! Listen to me, since you didn't involve me in the signing or even try to tell me before hand, you can handle everything your self.

And I will need full reports, and I must be involved in every little thing, and every little detail, Please get out of my office." Mrs Bond yelled as she sent Esther out of her room.

"Theresa!" Mrs Bond yelled her assistants name.

"Yes ma'am you called. Confirm my invitation to the next masked party by the Santos and get me lunch and also make that you follow up on that deal that just got signed by Esther, she won't be the end of m, I don't know why she can't be like you, I don't know why she can't make me proud or understand me like you do!" Mrs Bond sighed.

Theresa leaves the office and calls Mr. Bond.

"Good afternoon sir, how are you? Its Theresa" She said.

"It is a code red sir, you should return from the trip as soon as possible sir" Theresa said and she hanged up immediately and went to do her actual Job.

Esther's Bond point of view

I got to my office and I went straight to my chair and I sighed.

I covered my head for a minute.

I suddenly had a migraine and I needed to get rid of it fast.

I opened my draw that is beside me and I brought out my calm cookies, as the name implies they calm me down.

It is only one in the afternoon and I am suddenly tired of the whole day.

Mother in law is being her usual self, you seemed shocked.

Yeah that is how she is to everyone, and to me it is worse.

I checked the files and the working and I couldn't concentrate, I was tempted to call my husband, which is her son but why would I disturb him and why should I make him all worried by telling him what went down between his mum and I, any man would go crazy about it but not my Alex at least.

You might be wondering why my mother in law is treating me that way or why she is always yelling and being way to me, you might be thinking "is she doing that because her son isnt around and why am I not doing anything about it, why am i not saying anything, why am I being quiet about all this? I understand the agitation and I understand the rage and you might thinking who is she? Why is acting dumb and not reacting, she is being soft and too soft for me.

I miss my husband, if he was around she definitely would not treat me this way.
