"No, I am not hurt. I will get going now." She finally spoke, still maintaining a smiling face.

Who is she? Was the question bothering his heart, he has never been moved by any girl since his last heartbreak.

He didn't know when she left because he was busy thinking deeply about her.

When he noticed she was gone, he turned around and said, "You got a beautiful smile, what I wanted to say. I hope when we next meet, I will be able to tell you."

He smiled and he resumed his jogging feeling all excited.

At the office, Lewis came in, as usual, as they both discussed another business strategy then they diverted to the missing bride topic.

"Are you sure you won't visit Sharma?"

"Is this coming from you Lewis? Are you mocking me now?"

"No, I am not, I feel an evil spirit is with you when it comes to having a bride, or what if in your past life, you once treated your first love wrongly and you are paying for it?" Lewis said with all seriousness and Derek found it annoying.

"I don't believe in a past life, maybe I was not destined to have a bride before I leave finally, and hey, you know I was once lucky with the relationship?"

"I know but she left, I dislike her for that. I can't believe she will do such a thing after she requested I be your best man on the deal day."

"But know this friend, everyone is destined to have love again and you will not die without experiencing one."

Derek nodded but his mind was far now, he was thinking about the girl he bumped into earlier.

Her name is Sophia Wilson Beckham but she omitted the last name and just love bearing her stepfather's surname Wilson.

She Is a product of an affair her mother had with a billionaire in the past who promised to marry her but ended up abandoning her.

Mrs. Wilson went through hell in raising Sophia and she found love with John Wilson, with whom she bore a son named Scott, who is ten years old.

Sophia doesn't live with her mother, she stays alone trying her best to make sure she survives and takes care of her family as well.

Yes, she is in a relationship but despite being in love, she is wishing to have a marriage contract with a billionaire just like in movies and books.

She wants to be a wealthy public figure and finally meets her real dad to tell him how much she hates him, that was her mentality.

Her boyfriend is jobless, a terrible smoker and a womanizer though handsome. He knows how much Sophia loves him but he doesn't love her that much after what he was gaining from her.

She came to the estate for a secret task, to find a billionaire. Her best friend told her billionaires always jog in the very lane she took.

"That's weird, you know? I know this particular place is filled with rich guys. I took out my precious time to dress this hot for jogging so no one can resist me."

She sat on the floor and kept on speaking to herself, "I did everything my friend told me, you raise your head to this degree, and swing like this, oh I forgot to bite my lip in a sexy way." She gestured.

"He would have been a big shot to you. but why was he standing and looking like a statue?"

She referred to Derek, "was I appearing like a ghost to him or what? I took out time to be pretty and what did I get, a guy looking at me without saying a nice word."

"I guess it's time to go home and provide for my wretched boyfriend."

Sophia stood on her feet, feeling so tired walking out slowly, "I use to think he is the most handsome guy I have ever seen but today he isn't, that guy who bumped into me earlier is damn cute."

She took a cab to her place as she walked into her small apartment, opening her door with her house looking so messed up.

She ended up on the floor, "I hate jogging, I am really starving, I might faint soon."

Her best friend named Angela came to Sophia's home unannounced, rushing in and making Sophia jump on her feet thinking she was under attack.

"Where are you running to?"

Angela inquired, laughing out her ribs.

"I was not running, just trying to stretch my legs, was someone after you? Why did you barge in that way?"

"No one is after me, I just saw your boyfriend I hate so much."

"Oh Ralph, is that why you almost gave me a heart attack hum? I should design your face now."

She tried to attack her friend and they both ended up on the floor laughing out their ribs

Angela sat down with the couch supporting her back on the floor, "What is it, Angela? You are scaring me with your look."

"Sophia you are so pretty to be with a guy like Ralph, he is so lazy with his cute looks that deceive you all."

"Finally you admit my lover is cute."

"I know he is into drugs but you still cover up for him, why?"

"Nah, who is feeding you with those horrible lies?"

She tried to cover up for him even when she knew her friend was saying the truth.

"I know you will do that, what pains me the most is the fact that you work your ass out to get him money, to feed."

"When will you quit? Maybe when you are in jail because of him, you will realize you have just been a big fool." Angela advises again.

"Oh come on Angela, Ralph is not lazy you know, he has a job interview coming up soon, a decent job, after he gets it, he will start doing everything for me, go shopping too."

"In your wildest dream Sophia, I just saw Ralph not quite long enough to give a girl the new phone you got for him, I remembered he said his mother needed a phone badly and you bought it for him, I guess the new girlfriend is the mother."

"This can't be true, take me to him now."

Sophia turned all red, feeling hurt as she grabbed the mop stick.

"What are you going to do with that?"

Angela pointed to the mop she was holding.

"He just invited a god's wrath and I will unleash the war."

Angela took her to the exact spot she saw Ralph and the girl.

She saw the girl smiling stupidly with the phone in her hands.

"That idiot is spending my hard-earned money to impress another girl." She got vexed as she gripped her lover by his collar.

She yelled as she hit him with the mop stick, the girl almost ran with the phone, but trust Angela she is crazy as Sophia, she gave her a resounding slap and took the phone from her.

"Baby let me explain, she is my distant cousin." Ralph tried to cover up and receive a slap from her.

"How dare you, Ralph, I thought this love is real, I did everything to make you happy, you choose to pay me this way, you know what, I quit, I am sick of the whole relationship thing."

He tried pleading but she left with Angela crying.

"It's okay Sophia, Ralph does not merit a single drop of your tears okay?"
