Chapter 5 Stop The Car

"I like the tsundere and strict Asher please. If you continue like this, I might end up becoming a gay too." Gad pouted.

Asher laughed and sat back down on the couch then took his phone.

"I wanna go to the witches council."

Gad blinked.

"What! Are you insane?" Gad asked and Asher glared at him. "Umm.. I'm sorry, I was just shocked. The witches council is a dangerous place to go to especially for Vampires. They'll just kill you." Gad said.

"They can't kill me Gad. I have to go, this new rule they've brought will destroy the vampires. How can they expect us to drink animal blood? I know it's also blood but it is not healthy for our clan." Asher said.

"I understand but isn't there another way of contacting them?" Gad asked.

"None that I can think of for now. That's my only option and I'm doing it." Asher was determined.

"Asher, I know you're immortal and they can't kill but they may come after us, your subjects. I'm too handsome and cool to die." Gad said.

"Stop being dramatic Gad." Asher rolled his eyes.

"But... How and when are you going?" Gad asked.

"I'll be going the day after tomorrow. It's just to appear there, I don't have the time for a long journey." Asher said.

"Okay, Incase you don't come back alive, always know that I love and will always love you even till death." Gad said.

"Stop that you imp!" Asher hit his shoulder. "I'll come back okay? Stop acting like I'm going on a suicide mission." Asher laughed.

""That's exactly what you're embarking on. What am I gonna tell your subjects?" Gad shook his head.

Asher sighed

"You really need help." Asher walked out.

THE NORTH

Azula appeared in a forest and started looking around for the hybrid. She could feel him but he wasn't there. Could this be a trick?

She continued walking through the woods when something sped past her, scattering her hair.

"Hey!" She yelled.

She rearranged her hair and continued walking round the forest, unsure of where he was.

"Oh hybrid, come out, come out wherever you are." She called out.

"Hi."

She screamed and was about to fall but he held her. She looked up and met his purple orbs, so cute and mesmerizing.

What a hottie!

He released her.

"Sorry for scaring you like that. I'm still trying to control my powers." He said.

"No problem." She bit her lower lip.

"What is a sweet lady like you doing in the forest?" He asked.

"I should be asking you same question." She said, trying to dodge his question.

"Oh, I came here to learn how to control my powers so as to avoid hurting others. Sometimes when I try controlling my powers, I end up hurting people so I came to where there would be no one to hurt." He explained.

"Oh!" She said.

"My name is Skyle, what's yours?" He asked.

"Mine is Azula." She smiled.

"What a lovely name."

She was about to talk when she remembered what she came to the forest to do in the first place. She stopped when the scent hit her nostrils, she could feel the power of the hybrid.

She turned to Skyle and her eyes widened. He is the hybrid. Why must he be the one? She complained within herself but there was nothing she could do about it because she has to obey the council.

"What are you?" She asked him.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"I mean what kind of powers do you possess?" She asked.

"First of all, I'm a witch/ Vampire hybrid. My mum is a witch while my dad is a vampire. I have same powers that wolves have, I also have many of the vampire abilities which is what I've been trying to learn." He said.

"Okay, I'm sorry." She bent her head.

"Sorry for what?" He asked.

"For this!" She touched him and they disappeared then reappeared in the witches council.

His jaw dropped when he realized where he was.

He saw Azula going to bow before the queen.

"Good job Azula." Lucinda smiled.

"Thank you, your highness." She bowed, took her robe and sat down.

"Azula?" Skyle whispered.

"Welcome to the witches council, hybrid." Ian greeted.

"Witches council" Skyle gasped. His father had always told Stories about them. He said this council were filled with wicked and selfish people. His father had told him that whoever got summoned will never come back alive.

"I don't repeat myself twice hybrid, so listen and listen very good. You're gonna die." Lucinda said they started laughing except Azula who remained quiet, unable to look Skyle in the face.

"I'm sorry." She whispered.

"Did you say something Azula?" Lucinda asked.

"No my queen, I was singing." She said.

"Okay."

"Sorry ma, but please, I haven't committed any offence." Skyle said.

"Your offence is that you are a hybrid so you need to die so as to restore balance." Lucinda said.

Skyle looked at Azula but she was unmoved by all that was happening. He lost hope immediately. Was it his fault for being an hybrid? If he had known, he wouldn't have made friends with her in the first place now she had betrayed him.

Lucinda was about to call for his execution when Azula stopped her.

"My queen, he is witch and vampire hybrid. Since he's a witch and Vampire at the same time, he is stronger than the average vampire meaning that he will be very useful to us for... you know." Azula said.

Lucinda pondered on it for a while. That actually made sense.

"That's a brilliant idea." She said.

"What if he rebels?" Ian asked.

"He won't dare but if he does, I won't hesitate to tear him into pieces with my own hands." Lucinda said.

Eva sighed, such a handsome guy? Why must he be an hybrid?

Skyle looked at Azula and she looked away. She was too ashamed to meet his eyes.

"Guards! Take him to the dungeon, I'm sure he'll make lots of friends there." She said as they took him away. Azula kept watching till they were out of sight.

WITCHES COVEN

Loud music blared from the huge speakers. The place was filed with diverse witches ranking from the highest to the lowest.

Nights in the witches coven were mainly for partying and other activities.

Drake walked to the entrance and was greeted by the loud music.

"Gosh! Don't they have eardrums?" Alex snapped.

"It's louder to us because of our super hearing ability. Let's just manage and do this." Drake said and hey entered the house.

They saw a lot of things like strippers, drunkards, gamblers and many more.

"Are you sure my mate will be here?" Drake asked.

"I really don't know. This doesn't look like a place she would be." Alex said.

"Where is their leader?" Drake asked.

"She said she would be by the counter." Alex answered.

"They're a lot of counters, which one?" Drake asked.

"I don't know. I think we'll be checking them one by one." Alex said.

"This isn't gonna be a piece of cake." Drake said.

They covered their faces with masks then kept looking for the head witch.

Some ladies ran to them.

"Want a one night stand? I'm available." She said and tried to touch him but he yanked her hands off.

"Leave!" He ordered.

"But_" She tried to touch him again.

"I said leave!" He yelled at her.

She flinched and ran away while the rest followed her.

"Calm down my Alpha." Alex laughed.

"Are they for real? Even when they haven't seen my face? Shameless bi*ches." He frowned and continued walking with Alex.

They got to another counter where they finally found her, talking and gisting with the bartender.

"Good evening Irish." Alpha Drake greeted and she smiled at them.

"Alpha Drake! What a pleasant surprise." She left the bartender and came to meet them. "You didn't tell me you were coming."

"My apologies, I only came to make a few inquiries." He said.

"Okay, about what?" She asked.

"Are these all the witches in your coven?" Drake asked.

"Yes they are. Is it about the issue of you finding your mate?" She asked.

"Yeah but unfortunately, she isn't here." Drake said.

"What would a werewolf mate be doing here Alpha Drake, go to packs instead. This is a coven." Irish said.

"Yeah you're right. Bye and see you soon." He said then left with Alex.

After coming out, they entered the car and drove a distance when they saw a girl sitting at a riverbank.

"Stop the car." Drake ordered and Alex halted immediately.

He got down and walked towards her slowly, his heart was pounding really fast and he was so nervous, he finally found her! His mate!

He smiled and walked faster, his face beaming with smiles. He couldn't wait to see her... He halted immediately his eyes widened.

Alex whi followed him covered his mouth trying his possible best not to laugh.
