"I am aware of your plight with Alpha Drake and I know a way you can finally stop him so I'm here to make a proposal." Callum said.
"A proposal for what?" Frederick frowned. He was beginning to suspect this so called wizard.
"If I help you take down Alpha Drake, you'll give me quarter of your kingdom." Callum said.
"How dare you mention such before the Alpha?" Dave asked.
"Let him be Dave, I can see he is mentally deranged." He darted a look at Callum. "I don't need help in dealing with Alpha Drake. I could squash him with just a wave of my fingers so get your bloody a*s out of here."
"But_"
"You heard me!" Frederick glared at Callum.
Callum stood up abruptly and left the palace.
"Such a fool to think it's that easy to deceive me." Frederick said and stood up
"Where to Alpha?" Dave bowed.
"I wanna go for a walk." He answered nonchalantly and walked out.
Dave sighed, he knew better than to follow the Alpha. Instead, he waited behind to do some works assigned to him.

Alpha Frederick stepped out of the pack house, taking some steps into the woods. He enjoyed the cool breeze that blew all around and how the trees danced in accordance to the direction of the wind. He could hear water dripping from a distance, he walked in and looked around.
Valerie was still at the bank of the river when she heard some footsteps coming towards her direction.
"Who could that be?" She muttered and hid behind the bushes.
Alpha Frederick walked in and she gasped.
"What's he doing here?" She asked no one in particular. Many questions ran through her head. Like, how did he find her secret place? Why was he here? Was he looking for her? Seeing that he was distracted, she tip toed and ran out of there but bumped into a girl, more like a lady.
"Why did you bump into me like that?" The lady asked.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know," Valerie paused. "What brought you here?" She asked.
"I saw Alpha Frederick walk in here so I decided to follow him so I'll know where he's going to." The lady smiled dreamily.
"I see..." Valerie nodded her head. She could be one of the numerous shameless girls dying for him and here this one is, trying to give herself to him.
"Can you move so I can enter?" She asked.
"Sorry, what's your name?" Valerie asked.
"Belle." The girl answered simply.
"Okay Belle, I'll advise you don't go in there." Valerie said.
Belle's expression changed instantly.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because..." Valerie trailed off.
"If you don't have any reasonable explanation then move out of my way before I push you. Why do you want me to miss a lifetime opportunity?"
"Opportunity?"
"Yeah, for some months now, I've been trying my best to get noticed by him but it hasn't been working. Now, I've seen him today and you're trying to stop me?"
"It's for your own benefit Belle." Valerie said.
"See, I don't care if he asks for my body or not. I just wanna see and talk to him." Belle said.
Valerie nodded and moved aside. She knew that if she stood there longer than expected, the lady will surely fight her.
"Becareful Belle." She said but Belle was already inside.
Valerie saw her smiling and Frederick looking at her lustfully. Before she knew it, they were already kissing passionately. Valerie sighed, no one has to tell her what will happened next. She shook her head, is this what he expected her to be doing for him? Like seriously? She frowned and left.
Her anger was that, her hiding spot had been found. Now, she doesn't know if Alpha Frederick will come there again. Thank goodness he didn't see her. She quickly hurried out of there and headed for her cottage, remembering that she had an unfinished omelette there.

RAVEN CLAN
Asher strode back and forth thinking deeply. He was frowning greatly. Where on earth did that witch emerge from? Why is it that they always want war with the Vampires? He turned to the left side of his room and saw Lucinda.
"I have always warned you not to make an appearance in my room like that." He said.
"That's how I make my entrance." She chuckled.
"Well, I don't like it so stop! What if I wasn't on clothes?" He asked, glaring at her.
"I would have really loved that." She smirked.
Ashton ignored her then sat down on the bed, facing her on the couch.
"Since you're here, I would like to pass a warning across to you. Tell or rather warn your witches to stay away from us else I will kill them without pity." Asher said with a serious tone.
"Don't speak such words before me!" She snapped at him.
"I will when it comes to vampires losing their lives. You claim to have a council but I don't know the kind of work you guys are doing there. A council filled with only witches isn't a council but a den of roaring lions." Asher said. He wasn't scared of her a bit and she knew that.
"Are you saying that my council isn't working?" Lucinda asked. She was trying to control her anger right now.
"Exactly, how can you claim to have a council presiding over the supernaturals in the whole world and it's only witches that rule there. What happened to werewolves, vampires and other creatures huh?" Asher asked.
"Werewolves and vampires can't rule else the council will be a mess." She explained.
"It's a mess already because witches don't know what we vampires want nor what the werewolves want so they are just warming seats there and doing nothing." He said.
"You know, I like you for one thing and that is your courage but trust me, it won't take you anywhere," She stood up, "I've only come to warn you about the way your vampire subjects sick blood, they should be taking more of animal blood now and less of humans."
"What! That's preposterous! How can you even say that? You know animal blood make a vampire weak and crave for human. Why are you bringing all this stupid rules? Besides, none of our vampires had sucked a human to death before." Asher said.
"That's none of my business Asher, my decisions are final." She didn't wait for him to speak before disappearing.
Asher stood up and ran his hands through his hair.
"What the f**k!" He kicked the bed in frustration.
He knew she was purposely doing this because of the enmity between them and the witches. Even if she wanted to punish the Vampires, must it be like this? He knew many of that many of them won't survive it especially the children and teenagers.
He groaned in confusion not knowing what to do.

Lucinda appeared back to the main council room where there were 7 chairs respectively. She took her seat in the front and the remaining 6 bowed before her. They all wore red outfits with hoods covering their faces.
They were all the people she appointed to overlook different areas of the world where supernaturals were located.
"What do we have from the south today?" She asked.
"Nothing important actually, they haven't broken any rules yet." Azula, who was presiding over the South spoke up.
"Good, how about the West?" She asked.
"All good." Ian, who was presiding over the West answered.
"How about the rest? No complaints?" She asked.
They shook their heads but Eva spoke up.
"A vampire sucked a witch to death in Australia." Eva said calmly.
"What!" Lucinda sprung up. "Where is he?"
"We teleported him here immediately. He's in the dungeon getting tortured." Eva said.
"Tortured? That's not enough! Bring the bloodsucker to me immediately!" She ordered and the guards there rushed in.
She would have ignored if it was a werewolf or Fay that was sucked to death but a witch? She would make sure he dies a miserable death.
The guards dragged the vampire in and made him kneel before her.
"So, you had the guts to suck a witch to death?" She yelled at him and he flinched.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. It was a mistake." The vampire said with his head bent low.
"A mistake?" That statement fueled her anger.
"Yes your majesty. I was extremely hungry and sucked her. I didn't know when she passed out." He explained sincerely.
"You just made the worst mistake of your life." She stretched forth her and a silver arrow was handed over to her.
"Your highness_"
"Don't even think of begging me." She said and he kept quiet, ready to kill him but stopped when an idea clicked in her head. "Take him back to the dungeon, he will be useful later." She said.
The guards took him away. The members of the council didn't ask her because they knew already. Suddenly she did like she was sniffing something.
"I'm feeling an imbalance somewhere." She said.
"I feel it too." Ian said.
Lucinda stood up and clenched her fists.
"A hybrid!"
