*He wants you to work for him.*

Noah scrolled through the list of applicants the agency offered. they were all women, all five of them, Vampires. they had experience in child birthing. he didn't see anyone that he would want. some looked older than himself, and he was not contented, he turned to Inder and the other Doctor standing behind her, "Isn't there more? you just showed me five."

"Uhmm... you know, Surrogacy is renown in the human world mainly and our kind have recently adopted this system, not every vampire is willing to carry a child for another. we originally have eight vampires in our agency including half vampires and Vampires, but the thing is that three are currently pregnant." the doctor explained. Noah threw the paper carelessly, and the Doctor manage to catch it before it fell to the ground.

"Find more in the next few days, I want someone young, untouched-" he explained detailed, filling the air with his fingers like he could already touch it...

Inder and the Doctor watched him like he was going Crazy, which virgin will agree to do Surrogacy!!! and the world they lived in was one without morals... People had taken sex as an addiction. it was impossible to find someone untouched, especially in the vampire world. he clicked his tongue with his teeth, standing from the chair and gesturing to Jeremy who came to his side, "I'll leave you to your work now Inder, and I hope before our next meeting, you'll do great by finding someone good enough for my taste." he walked away.

Inder scoffed, she only thought how rude and arrogant he was. the doctor did not bother to say a word, he just left.

Jeremy moved faster than Noah, asking the driver to start the car before he reached where it was parked, he opened the door for him and got in after him. Noah always loved company at the back seat, it was easy to squeeze Jeremy's head or throat while he was seating five inches away from him, especially when he was angry.

The car left the hospital's premises, driving down the road, back to the Mansion.

while it was three miles away from the hospital, Noah asked the driver to pull over at the side of the road, his eyes seemed to have caught something. he stared outside the window quietly.

"What are you doing boss," asked Jeremy, he was staring at Noah, while Noah's eyes were fixated outside, he seems to be looking at something, not saying a word, Jeremy followed his gaze to see that he was starting at a young girl from a small cafe. she lifted a heavy trash can in her hands, she was going to drop it somewhere.

"Her..." said Noah. "I just found the baby's mother," he had a smirk on his face, he looked crazy, he always did.

"Jeremy," said Noah, he turned from the girl to his watch, "The time now is 9:30, you'll get down, go there and convince that girl to be a surrogate. tell her we'll pay as much as she wants."

"Boss, she doesn't look like a Vamp-" he was going to remind him about the doctor's words, but he cut him short, "I will text you the address later, meet me with the girl at 7 PM. now, off you go." he shooed him out of the car, his driver was going to drive away immediately when he remembered something, he lowered the glass, "Jeremy, you should know that I never take no for an answer, If you're not getting the girl, you might as well bring your head in a plate for me to chop off for a meal, I can't remember when last I drank from a young male vampire." he threatened, even though he still had the weirdest smile on.

Jeremy shrugged a bit, he imagined how it would look if Noah decided to snap his head off.

What was his boss's connection with the girl he saw, he wasn't sure his boss had met her before now... Noah was a psycho man. the driver moved so close to Jeremy, almost hitting him with the car as Noah instructed as a warning for what he would do to him, he was always threatening the young vampire.

He stood still by the side of the road, looking confused as he saw his boss's car driving away in a Swift, ignoring the traffic red lights.

He clicked his tongue, drinking in some good air before walking to the restaurant like banks officials looking for customers to bank with them.

Jasmine sighed quickly, Carrying the trash was hard work. she brought out a small piece of cloth from her apron, wiping her hand clean with it.

"Hello?" said someone, she looked over her shoulder and found a young man there, he looked young. she turned to him, staring at him as he extended his hand, with a small smile on his face, he still looked creepy even though.

His hair was brown, His eyes had the weirdest color under those huge spectacles, he had a small nose and a hairless face, he looked no less than a schoolboy.

Jeremy's hand was still hanging in the air but she didn't take it. she continued to gawk at him, customers never try to talk to the waitresses here, she already memorized some of the rules.

"Sir, I'll lead you to your seat, follow me," she said, He squeezed his hand into a fist, to brush away the rejection. he walked behind her until she showed him an empty table, drawing out the chair for him. it was her first day here and she did not want to mess it up, Debby will be disappointed with her because she helped her with the job right after Scott sent her away for coming late, AGAIN!

Jasmine smiled lightly, "What would you like to order?" she asked Jeremy.

"Nothing for now. take a seat Ms- please." He said, Adjusting his glasses and pinching the bridge of his nose lightly.

She pulled the opposite chair, seating on it, she could not help but stare directly into his eyes, but this time, in a suspicious manner, she felt his eyes go deeper as she stared.

Jeremy extended his hand for another handshake which she took this time, "Perhaps, an introduction?" he said, more of like asking for her consent, she nod lightly.

she shook him but his hand was cold as a lifeless man, her eyes were fixated on it before he broke contact quickly. he knew she was starting to suspect him.

"Your hand- it is surprisingly so cold," she commented. he knew she would say that and that was why he removed his hand, he forgot to wear his gloves.

"Ok. I am Jeremy Browne, and you are milady?"

"Jasmine Ricot."

"What a lovely name, Milady." she smiled warmly at his flattering with her cheek blushing with a bit of pink coloring, she never got an opportunity to be called 'Milady,' never in her life except for this stranger who felt the need to flatter her.

He searched his pocket for something quickly, "I have something that might interest you." He slides a card to her side of the table. "My boss saw you earlier, and he suggested I talk to you,"

"Why?"

"He wants you to work for him. it's a really good pay" said Jeremy. she picked up the card, looking at the front and then turning it over. it had some company's name on it. Jasmine knew she would never get a good job, except for minimum works, like working in the restaurant and all... she did not have any degree qualifications and it was hard to get a job without the least of them, she was not so good at expressing herself because she felt inferior that she could not start at the University.

"Sorry, I'll pass." she gave him his card back, she was going to stand up from the chair to continue her work, she had already spent so much time talking to the stranger, but he held her hand, making her jerk a bit at the low temperature of his hand.

"Let me finish," said Jeremy. his eyes were sincerely asking for more time, he gulped down quickly at the thought of not getting the girl, Noah would chop off his head, he did warn him earlier.

"Why would your boss see me and ask you to approach me to work under him, what kind of job is it?" he was quiet, he could not tell her in public, she did not look like a girl who would want that kind of job, less she flinches or worse, slaps him disgracefully.

These curious little humans, she wouldn't be good for Noah if she was as inquisitive as this. he shook his head quickly, she looked like she wasn't ready to listen to more of his words.

"Ms, I-"

she did not let him finish, "For a big name company as this," she said pointing to the card on his side of the table, "I do not have the qualifications to work there." she said the last word lowering her voice...

and now his job just got worst. it would have been easy if he could convince her to see Noah so he explains himself and now blame him for giving foolish logic to chase the girl away, but she wouldn't be ready, she did not have any qualifications.

"Ms. Ricot, I want you to listen to me, Please..." his eyes sincerely asking for more time. she freed her brows, wrapping her arms around herself. "well, I can hear you,"

"Will you agree to meet my boss? just this once, I promise, you won't get hurt. he just wants to explain the job to you clearly, I am ensuring you your safety, if that's what you're scared about."

Well, there was no one so naive to trust strangers in the city these days!

She followed him every expression for a while before nodding her head. "Ok. when do we meet him?"

He dipped his hand in his pocket, bringing out his phone to check if Noah sent the address as promised, and just in time, he sent it.

"At 7 PM, Sky Hall suite." he read from the phone, "I will come to pick you at 6:30, Please don't disagree, I insist."

"I wasn't going to say no." she mouthed. she just thought what harm was there in trying? he did say it was a good pay.

Jeremy brought out a small diary book, opening a pager for her, please leave your house address and phone number here."

she would have left her own homes' but damn, she got thrown out of the house, she decided to leave Debby's, she was squatting there for the while.

"Six thirty Ms. I shall come to pick you up." he reminded. his hollow cage was dancing in excitement, she agreed!
