Chapter 1 The Panther's Whisper

The panther's whisper :

In the city of Draumr a place whispered about in dreams, hidden between folds of time and reality-Selene Mareth lived alone in the lush shadows of the Entherwyn Forest. Her small cottage, tangled in ivy and magic, stood untouched by man or time. Birds dared not sing at dawn. Even the wind seemed to pause at her doorstep.

Marked from birth with eyes that mirrored the full moon, Selene was whispered about in legends, feared in silence. Some said she was cursed. Others swore she was chosen. All kept their distance.

Her only companion was the black panther who had appeared on the eve of a violent storm. Its eyes, glowing a supernatural blue, watched her with more understanding than any human ever had. It never spoke-but she understood it all the same.

That night, the moon bled red across the sky. Selene stood barefoot in the glade, the earth pulsing beneath her feet, when the trees themselves whispered.
