Chapter 4 Broken soul at wedding night

Maria took Juliet to her previous room and made her sit on the bed.

Maria didn't know how to start the conversation with the broken girl Juliet who was still in shock.

"Mrs Juliet, can I do something for you," Maria asked with pity in her voice but Juliet didn't react and tears were not ready to leave her eyes.

"Mrs Juliet, do you need anything" Maria again asked but received no answer.

Maria hasn't seen someone as broken as Juliet and Maria got out of her trance when she heard the shrilling sound of Juliet.

Julie broke down and all her pain was evident in her voice, maria hold Juliet tightly in her embrace and allowed her to cry and take out her pain.

The silent mansion echoed with the voice of Juliet's painful scream. There is nothing more painful in this world than a broken heart.

When the heart of the person broke then the whole world shattered into pieces.

Tears slipped from Maria's eyes seeing the unconsolable Juliet who was looking broken and it felt like nothing could repair her broken soul.

The pain in Juliet's heart was unbearable to her and it felt like her whole body was on fire.

But the cries of Juliet do nothing to the stone heart of Xavier

"Xavier, do you love me," Kathy asked Xavier who was massaging her head that was on his chest.

When Juliet left the room, Kathy and Xavier had a passionate moment with each other and their bodies were wrapped in the blanket.

They both heard the shrilling sound of Juliet's cries but Xavier ignored it considering that this was one of her acts to gain sympathy.

But Kathy knew that Juliet was broken beyond repair because she has seen Juliet's love and obsession with Xavier who was unaware of the depth of Juliet's love.

Apart from knowing Juliet's condition, Kathy didn't show any sympathy towards Juliet because she won't let anyone snatch Xavier so Kathy turned deaf to everything.

"Of course, I love you. What kind of silly question is this" Xavier said getting annoyed because tonight he already had a lot of drama and now he didn't have time for unnecessary questions of Kathy.

"Then why are you letting Juliet stay in this house," Kathy said unable to hide her jealousy and Xavier arched his eyebrow and looked at her

"I can't tolerate the site of that girl but I can't do anything before 2 years due to my deal with the mom," Xavier said and Kathy sat on the bed adjusting the sheets around her upper body and looked at Xavier with curious eyes.

"What sort of deal," Kathy asked and Xavier put his palms behind her head

"Mom put a deal in front of me that I get all the inheritance if I marry Juliet and stay with her for 2 years and after that, I can get a divorce if Juliet didn't get pregnant with my child," Xavier said casually like this was not a big deal for him

But Kathy fumed in anger when she heard the word pregnant.

Because there was no way that Kathy would let Juliet pregnant with Xavier's child.

But Kathy fumed with anger when she heard the clause of pregnancy and what made her wonder was why Lilian put the clause of pregnancy in the deal with Xavier.

Kathy made a point in her mind to find out what Lilian is up to?

"What if she gets pregnant,?" Kathy asked Xavier in a doubtful tone and Xavier opened his eyes and looked at her.

"What the hell is wrong with you, I hate that girl and you are telling me about her being pregnant by me," Xavier said in anger and got up from the bed and wear his pants.

He looked at Kathy with anger in his eyes and to control the situation Kathy smiled because she knew that angry Xavier could do anything and Kathy couldn't afford to make Xavier angry at least not when Juliet was in the house.

Kathy went near Xavier and put her hand on his chest where she could feel her heartbeat.

"I am sorry baby, but Juliet is a cunning woman and I doubt that she will trap you in her beauty if she got pregnant then what would happen to us?" Kathy said with fake tears in her eyes and Xavier shook his head.

"Juliet is not my type of woman and there is no woman in this world who can seduce me against my will," Xavier said with a smirk on his face and Kathy linked her arms on Xavier's neck

"Oh really so you are saying that I can't seduce you," Kathy said with a challenging look on her face and Xavier's lips curved in a smile.

"Sorry to burst your bubble baby but not even you can seduce me against my will because I am the Xavier knight and I have full resistance over me," Xavier said with a conviction in his voice.

Kathy knew that Xavier was hard to please and only she knew to what extent she had gone to get the love of Xavier.

Kathy pretended to be a sweet woman in front of Xavier but in reality, she is a cunning woman whereas Juliet was pure and could do anything at one command of Xavier.

"Okay then promise me that after two years you will get married to me and divorce Juliet and throw her out of the house," Kathy said to Xavier who shook his head at the stupidity of Kathy

"I am eagerly waiting to throw her out because I can't stand her.. she will leave in this mansion but she is non-existence to me," Xavier said clenching his teeth and Kathy cunningly smiled.

Xavier was a man of his word and he vowed that he would destroy Juliet because she dared to marry him.

Xavier decided that in these two years he would not let a single soul know about his marriage with Juliet.

Xavier thought that two years were enough for him to destroy Juliet because in his eyes Juliet was no innocent girl but a cunning manipulator.

Kathy smiled in victory because she knew that Juliet's life was going to be hell soon.

Kathy thought what a silly girl Juliet was, Juliet thought that she married the man of her dreams but in reality, she married a man who would pierce her heart into multiple pieces.
