CHAPTER TWO: TWO FAMILIES
COUNTRY... HELION (IMAGINERY NAME...)
PALACE...
Prince Hayes was the only son of the royal family. Being the only heir of the family and the whole country, he was being valued and pampered but all in all, Hayes remained the precious humble prince of the family.
After his work as usual, prince Hayes walked into the cars and the convoy rode to the palace.
"A moment, I need you to take me to my usual. I need to pick up someone." Prince Hayes told the guards.
"The usual? I mean, the girl?" The guard asked.
"Sure." Prince Hayes said before walking in. before long, he was back in navy blue suit. The cars were opened and the next thing, the cars were racing down the highway.
Moments later, Sadie and Hayes arrived at Kings Hotel, where they usually met. After taking the tickets, they entered the elevator and silently waited. Placing the key card, the guard paved way and the two entered. Sadie was solemn all the while till even the guard sensed something was wrong.
"Excuse me prince, can I talk to you before you get in?" The guard asked.
"Yeah, sure." He stepped aside.
"May nothing go wrong prince. I know am not supposed to advice you but, remember you're the prince of Helion and she's just a lowly girl. Even the king might go mad if this whole issue gets out of hand." The guard said.
"I know, and, thanks for the advice." Hayes opened the door after patting the guard slowly but still knowing everything already went wrong.
"My dear, you're not yourself. What's wrong?" he asked.
"Everything about us." Sadie said. "Time is already running out and I can't hide the bump for long. What are you planning to do? Am the one stranded here." Sadie said.
"Am thinking of a better way to have everything solved, I don't know how but I can't let you suffer I promise." Prince Hayes said. "Just cover me up for the time being. I can't ruin everything now. Just a few more days."
"Hayes, if you don't have everything done, I swear..."
"Don't swear..." Sadie was stopped by a kiss while trapped in between the wall and Hayes. "For the sake of our unborn baby, you can't swear."
"Am sorry love." Sadie said.
"Can I talk to him?" Hayes said pointing at Sadie's bump which was still too small to be noticeable.
"Sure, how are you sure it's a boy?" Sadie asked.
"I know, isn't it son?" Hayes bent down and kissed Sadie's stomach.
"Will you stop?" Sadie pushed him away gently. "You'll only start talking to him when everything is settled. Let him stay silent for now."
...
His only resolution was to tell his father the truth and take responsibility of his own love. He wanted to be with his love and take care of his family. After filing what was to be filed that day, Hayes and his father sat in the study room to talk as man to man.
"Dad, I already love someone and we're supporting a life already."
The king first chose not to believe. It was the other day he met with the daughter of the tycoon on issue of his son's wedding and today, Hayes was saying he had a wife already.
"Hayes, if you dare go against my plans, I'll disown you." The king threatened.
"Dad, if you care about this family's lineage and heir, you can't do this to me, but if you choose to, then I won't go against your orders, but what I promised my son is a better life full of family love. I can't go against what I promised."
"Hayes, for the first time you've gone against my order!" angry, the king knocked aside the table and everything went down.
...
Wedding bells rung as Gavin and Talia walked to take their lifetime vows. Talia was in a snow-white wedding gown that swept on the carpet. Gavin was in a black suit with a sparkling smile on his face.
"Repeat before me..." the lawyer said. "I, Talia take Gavin as my legally wedded husband, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health till death do us part."
Gavin repeated the vow as they exchanged the diamond rings.
"I vow to be an obedient wife, to respect and love you till the end of time, and to ensure we have the happiest love life and the happiest family ever. I love you from the very deep part of my heart Gavin." Talia said.
"I promise to be with you, protect you and ensure our happiness and the most successful marriage. You're forever remain the woman of my heart. I love you Talia." Gavin said.
They kissed as their day proceeded as successful as ever.
After which, they left in a convoy of cars left as they headed for their awaited day. The honeymoon.
SCARLET MANSION
After being disowned for his decision, Hayes and Sadie moved in together in Scarlet mansion to take care of their pregnancy. He was running a number of companies of which all were his. So far, their life was simple and full of love.
It's been two months now and Sadie's bump was bigger compare to the other day they met at the hotel.
Hayes hadn't gone to work and he wanted to have a word with hiss unborn son. Sadie sat still and waited for their talk as father and son.
"You know son, I can't wait to have you here. But, don't kick my wife too hard." Hayes said causing Sadie to laugh out.
"He isn't kicking yet, so you have to tell him to grow up first. Be serious for once or I will tell him not to listen to you." Sadie said while laughing.
"You are not serious right? He is a man and we have to talk as men. He can't kick my wife too hard anyway. If he isn't kicking, then am just giving him an early warning." Hayes said.
"Hayes don't threaten my unborn child please, ok, sing for him then."
"I don't want to do that now. For now, am giving out his boundaries first." Hayes said.
ALSO...
Gavin came back from work to find a calm and empty house.
"Talia! Where are you honey?" no reply came.
"where I my wife?" he asked the maid.
"She's is in." the maid replied.
"Talia... honey don't play this hide and seek tricks on me," Gavin called as he headed to the bedroom.
Talia was standing by the bed, a card attached to her bare back which read "Am here daddy!"
"What? Talia?" Gavin rushed to his wife. "Are you serious?"
"Yes dear, you'll soon be a dad." Talia smiled.
"Good heavens honey!" Gavin hugged his wife to bed and held her on his lap. "I want a daughter!"
"Mmh... I wanted a daughter too." Talia smiled. "She has to look like..."
"You of cause baby..." Gavin said smiling.
"Sure..." Talia smiled. Wait there my baby girl. Can't wait to have you."
"Nine months of being an elephant!" Gavin joked.
"Gavin? Seriously?" Talia laughed. "Elephant?"
"Yes of course. Because you'll soon be living with an extra-large tummy and... honey I want this, I don't want this, eating food for two souls." Gavin laughed.
"Yeah, for her to be healthy of course." Talia laughed.
"Off to the bathroom honey. Come with me, I want to bathe my daughter." Gavin said as he gently pulled his wife with him to the bathroom.
