Chapter 8 The Attack

In Shinjuku.......

"Ladies and gentlemen we welcome you to this great occasion, tonight we will invite our great Hokage" A voice echoed from the hall of the party, everywhere was buzzing with men and women, everyone dressed in classic attire, butlers were ushered out as soon as the population started to increase.

Luxury cars were still driving in, a group of men and women in soldier attire were outside ushering the people in, most of them dressed in red kimonos with black lining while others in blue kimonos with a silver lining, the ones in red are fire magicians while the blues are the water and ice magicians, some other s-rank mages were present but few of them.

The hall was now filled with men and women chattering, old friends from far places greeting and hugging themselves.

Not long the Hokage arrived, the officials went along to invite him in, they bowed down as he steps out of the car.

The Hokage was rarely seen, he only appears on important occasions, he's the head of all the Mages and magicians, he was the one that formed the Magisterium, a school where children with abilities are trained.

The Hokage walked into the hall, immediately a great noise arose, people were happy to see him, he has guided the reems of magic and protected it after his father died.

"Behold, let's welcome the Hokage" The man at the podium announced through the mic. The noise was so great, people were clapping and cheering.

"LONG LIVE THE GREAT HOKAGE" They cheered.

"Alright, it's alright, let's amp down," The Hokage said, his voice was deep and commanding.

"I'm so happy to see all of us here, most of you came from far places just to be here" He hasn't finished the noise rose again, he raised his hand to signify some silence, he continued" Mages from the north, south, east and west have also come here just to attend this grand party, I'm so impressed with the number that turnout tonight".

The noise rose again and the Hokage stepped down from the podium and walked up to his sit.

In a motel near Shinjuku.....

"Just like what I expected, a great number of mages and people" Iselin smiled as she took the binoculars from Goeth.

"How are we supposed to do this correctly, there are about five s-rank mages in there," Goeth said.

"We were told that the officials will be here, so what do you expect" Iselin replied, she looked into the binoculars like she was searching for someone.

"Not again Iselin, you have to focus on the mission," Goeth said as he noticed what Iselin was up to.

"What are you talking about" She pretended as if she knows nothing about what Goeth said.

"It's quite obvious that you're looking for Botan" Goeth smirked.

"Correct" Iselin cackled in her German accent.

"So what's the plan?" Amon mumbled softly, his presence wasn't noticed at all.

"Finally someone decided to say something, I was thinking you would stay quiet for the whole night" Iselin mocked him, she continued "well, we will do it my way", she stood up, her tight nylon fabric gown which showed her body seductive curves were seen clearly.

"Hmmm" Goeth looked away, he doesn't want to get captivated with Iselin's true beauty and her sexy curves, sometimes he wondered if he would ever get a chance with her to know what it'll look like to be on top of a witch.

Iselin catwalked to Amon and lay closely at his ear.

"Make a puppet of yours to be my companion tonight, make him sexy" She whispered to him as she licked his ear and walked away.

"Wow," Goeth said with a hoarse voice, Amon looked at him with a cold eye, no expression was written on it which made Goeth flinch.

Amon raised his hands, a smoky substance begin to rise from it, he brought both hands together and made some hand sign and then said with a quiet voice, "ic ia tóspringe", a cracking noise started to come from the ground, a pale looking man with smoke allover his body rose.

"He's not looking sexy," Goeth said softly, Amon and the summoned man looked at him coldly.

"What a creep," Geoth thought.

Amon clothed his puppet in a classic attire similar to those which people at the hall wore, he, Goeth and the puppet went down to meet Iselin.

"Is it ready?" She asked in her usual German accent, she turned and saw the puppet man dressed in classic attire.

"Well not bad" She smiled.

"So what's your plan then?" Goeth asked her.

"I'll make the first entry, I'll signal you guys when the action is ready," She said, she wore black long gloves and covered her eyes with a top half-mask adorned with a variety of jewels and feathers.

"Let's begin" She gave a wicked laugh as she took the hands of the puppet man and made towards a cab which she flagged down.

"Can you make a puppet of me?" Goeth asked Amon as he watched Iselin and the puppet drove off as couples.

" You're not dead yet" Amon replied coldly.

"Jeez" Goeth exclaimed in his mind.

More cars were still driving in, the hall was a little bit crowdy but though it's wide it was able to contain a quite large number of people.

"We are all prepared to see one of the most important things in the world of mages, it was retrieved a long time ago by the best of our mages after the Mage war with dark reem" The speaker paused a little bit before he continued again "Behold the powerful sceptre "

The crowd gasped as the speaker unveil the sceptre, it was bright like the morning sun and the energy pulsing in it was very strong.

"What an energy" One of the people mumbled in surprise.

"Now I will invite the Hokage to tell us about it," The speaker said as he motioned the Hokage to come up the stage.

When the Hokage stepped up to the stage, he touched the radiating spectre moving his hand around it.

"This sceptre is a strong weapon, that's why we have protected it for a long time after it was retrieved, we decided to display it today cause it'll no longer be a weapon, our brilliant mages that made a research on it for some years have come to conclude that the sceptre's energy can be use to balance our world and reem of magic, therefore the reem of magic can be controlled with the energy of this sceptre" The Hokage voice echoed in the hall while he speaks.

Outside the hall.......

When the cab arrived at the hall, Iselin and the puppet man came down, they walk to the door leading into the hall.

"Hello gentleman and lady, you are welcome to this great occasion, please can I know if you're a mage or not," One of the guards asked politely.

"Yes, we are" Iselin replied.

"Mages from where please?" The guard asked again.

"Oh from the north" Iselin replied softly.

"Once again you're welcome," The guard said but was wondering why the man wasn't saying anything.

"Thank you" Iselin smiled, she walked in with the puppet man and noticed the look on the guard's face.

"Amon can you ever make a better puppet" She murmured.
