"Where are you? Utahi!" He walked into the room with rage and fear, as he moved into the dim room he stumbled on another dead body.
"Ugh, How many will you kill Utahi!" He looked down but he couldn't make out the person on the floor due to the light in the room is dim.
"On the lights" The older master yelled.
When one of the men wants to on the light, another young nurse but this time she was with security appeared at the scene, she ran into the room.
"Don't on the lights, this room is filled with newborn babies and bright light will affect them" she said amidst fear
"All of you should move! Your hands above your head right now!" One of the security men said as he pulled out his gun before others followed suit.
"I said on the lights" The older master bellowed, he went closer to the door to on the light himself.
"Old man, please you have to back down, this is an infirmary, any harm to these babies will be blamed on you and your men" The security man informed.
"You don't know what you're up against, you have to let me do my work," The older master said but the security men weren't backing down on their words either then argument rose between them.
"All of you should pipe down" A cold voice commanded, a man walked in with a cigarette in his hands and a group of men in tuxedos followed suit.
" Who are you?, If I may ask" One of the security men asked.
"Detective Doylestown," The man said as he raised his ID.
" Lord Hiroshi, I appreciate the work you and your men have done lately, those that sacrifice their lives I shall honour them" The man bowed.
"On the light, I think Utahi must be hiding in there" The man continued.
Immediately the nurse switched on the light, the men gasped when they saw the dead body of Utahi near a baby stand. The gasps of the men were heard among the crying babies.
"Quiet down the babies, for we won't hang around much longer" The man motioned to the nurse. The nurse was trembling as she walked to each baby shushing them calmly.
The man looked at lord Hiroshi and it was written all over his face that he was perplexed, then he turned back to the body.
"To end is chaos power, lord Hiroshi you can take it from here, " The man said as he turn his back to leave.
Lord Hiroshi ordered his men to pick up the dead body of Utahi, he went closer to the spot where Utahi died and picked up Utahi's deadly weapon, he stared at it for some time and heaved, he turned to go then a baby chuckled, he looked at the baby with white hair and smiled then he walked away.
.................................
Detective Doylestown was looking washed up, his eyes went round to the papers and documents scattered on his table, he has plunged off his tie and let loose of his tuxedo suit, he was looking frustrated.
"Careless Utahi" He cursed as he kick his table once again making more arranged documents fall off the table scattering everywhere in the room.
Ring Ring
Detective Doylestown picked up the telephone from its stand.
"Hello, detective" The voice greeted from the other side of the phone.
Seems like Doylestown knew his caller, he fidgeted a little wondering how he was going to explain the failure of his mission.
"Hello, Detective Doylestown on the line, who am I speaking with," Doylestown said.
"Easy there detective, the Duke wants to speak with you," The voice said as it opt for a while. Doylestown held the telephone in his hand waiting to hear another disappointing voice, he knew things are already messed up.
"Detective Doylestown, are you still there?" An elderly voice asked as it adjusted itself.
"Hello Duke," Doylestown said, his hands were already wet, who knows what will come of him.
"Is it true?" The Duke asked clearing his throat.
"Of what?" Doylestown pretending as if he knew nothing about what the Duke is saying.
"You fool! You can't carry out a simple mission and now the greatest weapon we have accumulated has fallen because of your mistakes, you're a coward!" The Duke shouted.
Doylestown pulled the telephone out of his ear to avoid becoming deaf.
" I did everything you told me to do but that stupid Utahi made his option without heeding to mine and that's why he's dead," Doylestown said hoping he'd clear himself.
"Shut the fuck up! Detective" The Duke shouted again but this time it made him cough roughly. Doylestown was still on the phone, he was imagining the kind of rage the Duke would have against him, his attention was drawn back to the call when the Duke cleared his throat.
"Are the main targets down?" The Duke asked him.
"Only lord Haru but Lord Hiroshi still lives" Doylestown replied carefully.
"Damn you" The Duke cursed quietly, raising his pitch will do him no good.
"So what's the outcome of Utahi's chaos power?" The Duke asked again.
At this time Detective Doylestown kept mute for some time before he could reply.
"I think it's dead with him which means the chaos is now extinct" Doylestown replied, he was waiting for the Duke to say something but seems like he wasn't going to do that. Not long the Duke's voice sounded back again on the telephone roughly as usual.
"I want you to check up on any information that comes across about Utahi and also we need a new mercenary," The Duke said as his voice opts off from the call.
Doylestown dropped the telephone back in its stand, he laid back on his spinning chair and sighed.
" Utahi damn you"
