Chapter 7 Mercenary

Early that day, A black Mercedes limousine drove into a warehouse, it parked in front of a large building that looks like a hall, a man came down, he went to the other side of the limousine and opened its door.

"Good day sir," He said as he held the door wide.

"Good day," Detective Doylestown replied as he stepped down from the limo, he looked around the warehouse and shook his head in disbelief.

"The worst place to meet up" He mumbled.

Just after some minutes, another man walked up to him.

"Hello detective, the people are already in the hall, please this way," He said politely.

Detective Doylestown followed him into the building, the walls of the building were looking worn out, the painting was already falling off.

The man took the detective to a particular floor, he led him to a room.

"Here we are detective, the duke is on his way," He said as he opened the door for him.

Doylestown was surprised, the structure of the room is fancier than the outside of the building, the walls were nicely painted and the room was well decorated.

"Nice camouflage Duke," He said, at that moment he didn't notice the three people in the room.

"If I must say, you're detective Doylestown huh?" A young lady said, her voice was sultry.

Detective Doylestown looked in the direction of the voice, he saw two men, they were looking like fighters closely to assassins, then as for the young lady, she looks like an empress, her curves were showing through her black long gown with a cloak covering her back.

"Yes, you guessed right" Doylestown said as he walked up to them, he took a sit which was placed around the long table.

"Such a gentleman" She cackled.

"Why don't we introduce ourselves?" Doylestown asked politely.

"Well, it's not bad if we get to know each other detective" That was the first time one of the men spoke, "Call me Goeth," He said.

"Ok, what about you?" Doylestown motioned to the second man who looks so cold and pale, it took some minutes before he could speak up.

"Amon" He mumbled.

"Scary one," Doylestown thought, "Ok, now what about you young lady?" He asked her.

"Iselin de vil" She chuckled, Doylestown was a little bit shocked when she said her name, he have heard the name before but couldn't dictate when he did.

"Familiar eh," Doylestown said to her, Iselin laughed softly.

"With time you'll get to remember," Iselin said with her usual sultry voice, she has a German accent.

The door of the room opened, Doylestown already knew who was coming when he heard the large footstep walking in.

"Detective Doylestown, it's so nice to meet you again" The Duke's deep croak voice echoed in the room.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Doylestown said as he stood up for a handshake

"It's always a pleasure detective," The Duke said while he shook Doylestown.

The Duke looked at the three strangers with enthusiasm but he gave Iselin a flirtatious look and smiled.

"What a beautiful lady," He said walking towards Iselin with his fingers dancing on the table.

"A pleasure to finally meet the Duke" Iselin smiled, she stood up gently when the duke was closer to her.

"Am already impressed with your looks" The Duke said quietly as he placed his hands on Iselin's shoulders taking them down to her hands slowly, Iselin's smiles were alluring.

Doylestown cleared his throat when he knew that the duke was carried away with Iselin's seductive feature.

"Oh sorry, where were we?" The Duke said quietly still giving Iselin a flirtatious look as his eyes runs down to the surface of her cupped breast.

"We were about to start a meeting, duke" Doylestown replied, "what a flirt" He blurted in his mind.

"Oh yes" The Duke finally let go of Iselin's hands, "can you introduce them to me," He said as he walked up to the extreme of the table and took a sit.

"Ok, This is Amon," Doylestown said as he pointed at the pale looking man, " the one beside him is Goeth then the lady is Iselin de vil"

"Iselin de vil, hmm familiar," The Duke thought.

"So what're their capabilities," The Duke asked.

"I don't know but they're high wanted serial killers" Doylestown replied.

"I raise the demons to fight for me" Amon intercepted quietly.

"So what's that supposed to mean?" The Duke asked.

"He's a necromancer" Doylestown replied, he looked at the pale man and wondered if he is the real one or just one of his dead puppets.

"I am a geo summoner," Goeth said with a deep voice.

"Is that not supposed to mean that you're an earth magician?" Doylestown asked him as he tucked his hands into his pockets.

"Seems like you were taught well in school" Goeth smirked, Doylestown glared at him.

"What about you Iselin," The duke asked her softly.

"Oh me, am a witch" Iselin smiled.

"Huh?" Doylestown was surprised, of all the abilities he knew, he haven't heard of a witch.

"A witch?" The Duke looked spooked.

"Yes, a witch" She cackled seductively, " I soar into the moon at dark, rip off the hearts of my prey"

"If that's so, I have something for you guys to do for me," The duke said, "Bring me the sceptre which will be displayed tonight during the invitation party of the Hokage.

"Sceptre can't be controlled by a mere human, of what use will it be to you?" Amon said quietly, the Duke glared at him immediately he made that statement.

"Just do your job and you'll get paid, anything else is not your problem," The duke said as he walked out of the room.

"The event will be holding at Shinjuku" Doylestown informed them, he dropped an address card before them.

"All the officials will be there, Good luck" He left.

"Botan honey, I'll be coming for you" Iselin smiled mischievously as she picked up the address card.

"What about Hiroshi?" Doylestown asked the duke as they walk in the long hallway.

"I think he will be of help in finding the chaos curse or don't you think so?" The Duke asked him.

Doylestown only shooked his head in affirmation.
