Chapter 3 OO3

In the fancy living room, the table was long and wide. Men in black sat around discussing. A particular man set out between them, his face was handsome while his eyes were green. "Sir, do you recognize the woman who had just entered the gate?" Daniel's face was livid as he gazed at the footage which showed Nadine as she walked in. Ryan Raymond raised his head, he looked at the CCTV and the face of the woman came to remembrance. It was the same woman he had spent so much time to find, he took his lower lips in and furrowed his brows. Then Nadine walked in, the room was dark.

She entered inside only for it to be dark as darkness itself. Fear creeped her heart that she sought to go back but the door was closed shut. She didn't understand what was going on, her mouth parted in fear while her heart pounded against her chest. "Plesse, who is there?" she asked as she gently moved forward. "I shouldn't have come for this delivery!" she lamented in her heart almost shedding tears. Just at the same moment, the light suddenly came on. Nadine had closed her eyes shut when she felt the luminance, she opened them immediately but what she saw scared her to death. She almost fell to the ground at the sight in front of her. Never in her life had she imagined to be in such situation. "It is really her." The voice sounded while the set of green eyes stared at her wickedly. She thought she was assuming things so she closed her eyes again then opened it and saw the same thing, she almost fainted. "Take her!" Two men rushed to her and took her by the arm, they dragged her to the front of Ryan Raymond. "Do you remember me?" He stared at her derisively. Nadine innocently shook her head. "Three years ago, you saved a girl named Aria and broke the head of my head guard with your heels." It was then Nadine recollected her memories. She had completely forgotten about it. Oh goodness! She knew she was in deep trouble because it seems like the man was the leader of a mafia group since they were all dressed in black and the room light was dim. She remembered Aria told her that man she had stolen from was a wicked man. "I should have just minded my Buiness!" she thought as she stared at the set of wicked green eyes. Ryan looked at her wickedly, thinking of what to do to her. "Aria stole a necklace and bracelet from me the other day and it costs a lot of money so you have to repay them by working for me, freely!" He poked the last part without looking at her. Nadine raised her head, she was petrified by the sound of his voice. How can he even talk like that with no pity?! However, she wondered what kind of work the man would want her to do. "Can you cook?" A gruffy voice whispered behind her, it was the head guard, Roth whom she had broken his head before. Nadine quickly nodded her head. "You are hired!" Ryan sounded. Ryan had been a lover of home made food since he was young because before his Mother died, it was what she prepared for him. It was one of the reason he ordered just made food from restaurant with a lot of money. Nadine was able to leave the place without being killed, she touched her belly breathing heavily. She thought she was going to die, however, God had saved her life just now. She climbed the bike and drove back to the restaurant. When she arrived and received her tip from the boss, a smile escaped her mouth. Nadine was happy because she fooled Ryan Raymond, he thought she would begin to work for him by next Monday not knowing she would be going back to her country on Sunday. After Claire sent her here to Australia, she never went back since Nathan had found a new lover. She was so hurt, she didn't want to go back to her country. However, everything changed when she was called by her father's mother who was sick and needed her attention. Nadine packed her things on Sunday morning and went to the airport, she boarded the plane and it took off. Nadine thought she had escaped Ryan Raymond forever. Aside from that, Nadine was a little petrified that she would meet Nathan. However, when she realised that she and Nathan are no longer in the same level and his world was different from hers now, she took her mind off it. Three Weeks Later, Nadine had just gotten an application to work at a new company, she was so happy because her savings was almost finished on her grandmother. She walked into the company and waited at the reception like the front desk lady had said. Nadine was so happy because the company she was one of the most successful companies in America. Nadine was waiting patiently when some people gathered around in the reception, they were all dressed cooperate including the front desk lady. ^Did you know he is coming today? ^No, I heard he just arrived today. ^Why is he showing up suddenly. ^No idea! Nadine didn't understand what was going on so she just remained sited looking at the document in her hand when someone walked in. It was someone she knew so well. It was someone she never expected to see. She looked at him from his well polished shoes to his well tailored suit and his smooth as butter skin. His hair tousled, his face handsome and charming, she recognised him so well. "Oh my goodness!" she muttered as he walked closer.
