Chapter 6 Meeting the Alpha And His Luna(Six)

CHAPTER SIX

Mira's Pov:

I continued the walk down the lane with the beta until we reached a room. The room was closed with a big giant door. According to the beta, it is their dining room where the alpha, luna, and other rank members await my return.

I swallowed hard, and still my breath before gesturing for the beta to go ahead and open the door, he gave me a small smile before pushing the door wide open.

"She looks so beautiful in person, then in pictures," a woman around her fifties scream at the top of her voice filling the once quiet room with her scream when smiling genuinely at me, yes this smile is genuine and very contagious, I gave her a small smile when staring at them all confusingly.

"Oh! Silly me... let me introduce myself," she said to me after noticing my confused state, I smile at her again, God damn it this woman is fucking beautiful, she still looks young and fresh.

She doesn't look her age, you can't know her age if you see her, because she looks younger than her age but I do know people's age when I see them. I don't know if it is a gift or talent that the moon goddess blesses me with.

"I am Virginia, the luna of the bright moon pack," she said to me.

"Nice to meet you, Luna," I greeted her and tried to bow but she drew me towards her and embraced me.

"You don't call me Luna sweetheart but address me with my name Virginia because it makes me feel younger but the Luna title reminds me of my age," she said pouting, making me laugh, gosh this woman isn't bad though.

"And this man here is my husband, the Alpha to the bright moon pack," she said to me while looking at the husband with eyes full of love, pride, adoration, and joy.

Yes...that is the type of love that I want, I know by the way she stares at him, they were not forced into an arranged marriage like they were now forcing me and their son, or maybe that their son needed a luna and wife and my father decided to use that opportunity and lure me into this marriage because of his selfish interest and my mother even back him up in turning my life into hell. But what will I tell them, that I can't marry their son because I have found my mate who was busily knacking a whore without even waiting to meet me.

To keep himself holy and wait for his mate, the one the moon goddess has designed for him throughout his lifetime, which was me.

But I can't reject my mate because he cheated on me unknowingly and married a total stranger, a man I knew nothing about. This was a blessing in disguise.

I slowly peeped at the alpha's face. He looked huge with a hardened expression. Though he is incredibly handsome and scary, I bowed my head as a sign of submission and greeted him. He nods his head at me, only God knows that I won't get married to their son, I know is going to cause a problem when I told them I found my mate, though I didn't see him I can trace him with my nose but not without the help of heaven, who is still recovering from the hurt of seeing her mate fucking another.

"And this is our beta, Peter and this is his wife Joyce but from the look of things you already knew each other," Luna said to me, making me nod positively at her. I smiled at the beta's wife and also greeted them.

"And this is our gamma, Mr. Philip and his daughter, oh! She isn't here but you guys will meet later, together with Beta's son," she said warmly to me.

I turned to the named gamma and greeted him, he smiled at me but hurled daggers my way immediately while the others weren't paying attention. I don't know but something feels off with him, I don't trust him even though heaven told me to be careful of him.

"I know you will be hungry, let's take you to the dining to feed you, so you can go and rest before tomorrow," she said cheerfully at me when directing me towards the dining table, I still don't get why she was this happy to meet me. We all moved to the dining area where a lot of varieties of food were served. Though I was just coming from my birthday, my mouth waters immediately. I perceive the aroma coming from the food but I needed to control myself and eat moderately. I waited for them to finish their discussion which doesn't seem as if it was ending anytime soon.

"Happy birthday princess, sorry for the late reply," Virginia said to me.

"Is ok, thank you for the wishes," I replied to her with a small smile but my stomach grumbles making them all burst into laughing except the gamma who was looking at me with disgust, I felt fucking embarrassed why does my stomach have to disgrace me today of all days. The alpha gesture for us all to eat, I munch into the food and eat to my satisfaction. Thank goodness we were all through with the food. The omega tidied up the place once we were done, so Luna instructed one of the omega to show me the direction to my room. She said that she would like to be the one to walk me to my room but she feels heavy and tired to move around but she promised to show me around the pack tomorrow. I murmured good night to her and others before exiting the place. Finally, I could breathe well again, I smiled and continued walking to my new room with the omega.

Throughout the time we were eating, Phillip the gamma kept throwing death glares my way. I won't say I have met him before because I am not a social person, and I don't attend ceremonies or usually go out so the possibility of us knowing each other is automatically zero.

But I won't deny that he makes me uncomfortable, just the way he looks at me as if I do not belong here but I can't conclude yet maybe he wasn't in a good mood or he was mistaking me for someone else.

Gosh, I missed my mate, I don't even remember the direction that leads to the room again, and his scent has faded away but "wait what if he was fucking that whore or whoever she was in his room, does he expect me to pack into that room with him?" I will have to tell him to vacate the room and look for another one.

Because I can't bear sleeping in the same room where he fucks his girls, only God knows how many he has fucked. I grumpily signed making heaven roll her eyes at me, she kept screaming that she wants to meet her mate in my head causing me a headache. If I complain of a headache, she will start stamping those tiny feet. I teased her and continued walking to my supposed room.

The omega directed me to my room and even asked if I needed anything or if I needed to unpack so that she could assist me. I noticed she looked tired and ordered her to go and sleep and come tomorrow morning if she had a chance. She nodded and left. I closed the door and stared at my new room which looks like a princess room. It is more beautiful and spacious than my old room in our packhouse.

I moved to the wardrobe and noticed that my bag had been kept there. I also noticed some new fancy clothes that looked my size in the wardrobe, I closed them and moved to the fridge, I opened it and found different varieties of fruits, drinks, and chilled water. I grabbed one chilled bottled water and closed back the fridge. I opened the water and gulped down the contents in one second.

Gosh, I feel so tired, I moved to the bathroom, stripped off my clothes, and took a shower to cool my body. Once I was done, I trudged to my bed. I felt so exhausted. I will use the walkout I have with Luna to look for my mate. I will make him crave and want me. I smiled before allowing darkness to take over.
