Chapter 5 The Bright moon pack(Five).

Mira's Pov:

After packing my clothes in only one bag, since I don't own many clothes, I packed the ones that still looked presentable. I cleaned up to remove the sweat caused by the run I had with heaven some minutes ago.

Once am through, I turned and look at Sandra who gave me a small smile and a thumb up by telling me how strong and loving I am, I mutter thanks to her for her help and encouragement before closing the door behind me and ascending the stairs with my suitcase to the parking spot where all my family members were waiting for me.

I noticed a red Lamborghini behind the car is my father and one huge man in his forties discussing if I am not mistaken it is the beta of the bright moon pack, so he has finally arrived to pick me up.

"And here comes the bride, my loving daughter," my father said to the beta, making him and my family members turn around, they were all looking at me with pity and even the beta made me feel scared.

"Is Nicholas that bad or scary?" I have never been scared in my life before but right now I feel like running to my mom and telling her how scared and terrified I am. My family's sympathy at this point is not what I needed because it is going to make the situation worse.

"Mira, meet Mr. Robin the beta of the bright moon pack who has come to pick you up," my father said to me with a small smile. I saw a little pity, sadness and betrayal flickered in his eyes but he masked it immediately, I gave the beta a small smile and greeted him. I turned around and glanced at my mom and siblings one after another. I can see tears in my mom's eyes but she is trying very hard not to let them out.

Khloe was just there staring at me grumpy as if nothing was happening. It hurts me that she felt nothing for me, her blood sister in this kind of situation. I don't know the type of heart she even has. I turned to Vivian who was giving me a pitiful look.

I have never felt worthless and unloved in my whole life but now, I have to face the fate, my own 18 years were going to start like this, that my father gave me out as a bride to the bright moon pack because of his selfishness and cowardness, I glanced at them for the last time before going to enter the car but my sister Vivian shouted on top of her voice to me before I could even enter inside.

"Chin up, sweetheart, my baby sister, face the world head-on and give me feedback if you have any problem there, and let me come kick some ass," she said to me, making me smile at her before entering inside the car and the beta drove off.

Throughout the drive, the beta didn't even spare me any glance or even say a word to me, I just prayed that my stay brings me happiness.

We arrived at the bright moon pack after a long drive. The guards opened the gate for us to enter. The town is so beautiful that I kept peeping my head through the window to get a better view, then our car stopped at one tall and huge building. The building was so tall that I couldn't see it very well. The beta opened his door and came down before telling a guard there to help me with my luggage, and the beta opened my door and gestured for me to come out, I did as he said.

The pack members were looking at me suspiciously, some were already looking at me with disgust, I lowered my head and made sure to keep up with the beta's footsteps.

Wherever we passed people bowed to the beta and greeted him before throwing me a look, gosh that look is making me feel uncomfortable. When we entered the passage, it was very quiet. I told the beta that I need to use the restroom and that I am pressed, I lied, I hoped he didn't find out. I just want a minute to pull myself together before I meet Alpha or Nicholas. The beta looked at me for some seconds before pointing in the direction of the restroom.

I murmured thanks to him before speeding out of that place to the direction, I was walking to the restroom before the intoxicating smell hits my nose, it smells like cologne, a strange and dizzy sensation overtaken me, I used my two hands to support my head and continue to follow the smell with the help of heaven who is jumping around my head screaming the word mate, I can't believe I found my mate despite everything. I am happy I am finally going to stay with my mate and not a scary arranged husband of mine. I thanked the moon goddess and continued to speed in the direction.

I reached a black door where the intoxicating smell of my mate was coming from with a plastered smile. I opened the door wide open, but I couldn't believe the scenes in front of me.

My supposed mate was lying on top of a woman both naked and thrusting inside of her with the woman shouting harder babe. I felt a piercing pain pass through my heart, the pain was so much that I felt like I was suffocating, my once happy face faltered and was replaced with pain.

I stumbled back when holding my heart, before he could turn around, I quickly opened the door and ran out.

I popped into the beta and fell, he helped me stand up before saying to me.

"Is there any problem Miss?" he asked me.

"Nothing sir, I....I, I mean is nothing, sir," I said to him stammering, making him look at me suspiciously but I managed to give him a small smile. He gestures for us to continue going so as not to keep Alpha and Luna waiting. I nodded my head at him and continued walking with a broken heart.
