Chapter 8 Seventh Chapter

**Liam**

I can't wait for my princess to prove to these people wrong and show them that she is stronger than what they think. When she is completely healed and feels up to it, I will let her begin Warrior training that way if she were to be attacked, then she can get stronger and show these people what is what. Like all packs Blue Moon does run a chance of a Rogue attack, more so the lone wandering pack members of Blue Moon are susceptible of being attacked more than a small pack of wolves. I try to ensure that all my pack members are trained with some sort of self-defense. As I reach the top of the stairs, I'm caught off guard by a familiar voice.

"Alpha Liam Collins! How are you, my friend!" I turn to see Alpha Ramone.

"Alpha Ramone my old friend. I'm great just taking the Luna here to our room so she can rest." I say looking down at a still resting Ava.

"She's very pretty my friend. You're an incredibly lucky man Alpha. If you mind me asking, what is her name?"

"Ramone would you mind coming with me to my room so I can let the Luna rest comfortably and we can continue our conversation?" I say as begin walking in the direction of my room.

"Por supuesto, lidera el camino. Of course, lead the way my friend." He begins to follow me down the hallways to my room. Tyler unlocks the door to my room with the key and we all silently make our way into the room. I make my way to the bed and softly lay Ava on top of the soft mattress and pull a blanket on top of her.

"I'll see you later Alpha." Tyler says as he exits the room leaving only Ramone and myself.

"Ramone do you recognize this young lady?" Ramone slowly approaches and studies Ava's face closely.

"She is the Omega that escorted me to my room when I arrived here yesterday. Why?" Ramone had confusion in his voice and the look on his face to match.

"Come closer and look, now picture this girl younger, say nine years younger." Ramones expression changes as he began picturing Ava as a young girl. We all know Ava as a little girl, sadly none of us know the woman she's grown to be and what she has been through.

"Liam are you saying...is this Nathaniel's daughter?" He asks standing there with a dumbstruck look on his face.

Alpha Ramone and I spent the next few minutes talking about how I found Ava and how she was enslaved when Luther found her as a child. I could tell he was getting just as angry as I was with every word I said. I also took the chance to go over a plan with him on how we could expose Luther for what he's done to Ava. Ava told me for years she wanted revenge on these people so together we came up with a simple plan. The plan is simple Tyler will bring Ava into the meeting where Ava will then tell her story hopefully it's a good enough plan that the Elders will charge Luther and the rest of the dingbats.

When Ramone had finally bid his goodbyes, I look over at Ava who is still sleeping soundly. My phone started buzzing in my pocket I pull it out and check the caller ID as the word

"Mother" flashes across the screen. I knew I couldn't delay talking to her any longer, so I swipe the screen to answer.

"Hi mom." I hold the phone a good foot away from my ear as I hear my mother take in a deep breath.

"Liam Trent Collins! You found your mate and didn't tell me I had to hear it from your father! I have called you over twenty-five times young man. You may be an Alpha, but I am still your mother!" my mother shouts into the phone.

"I'm sorry Mom. I planned to tell you, but some things had happened, and it was put to the back of my mind. But trust me mom you will love her!" I could hear her sigh on the other end of the line.

"Well, I hope I do not just any woman can come in here and take over Blue Moon as Luna. Anyway Jordan has everyone drove half-crazy around here without you telling him how to do his job. None of us can wait until you get back." Jordan's is my younger brother who also stands in as Alpha when I am away on business. He has a lot of learning to do he's young and naive when it comes to half of the packs business so I wouldn't be surprised to go home and find my desk stacked with paperwork. Jordan was more rebellious while I am the more business type, I guess that's why my father choose to hand the pack over to me and not Jordan.

"I will be home sometime after the meeting I'm not sure what time because I have no idea how long it's going to take. But you can ensure we will be leaving Friday night as soon as the meetings over. The less time I spend in this house the better. I'll see you soon bye Mom" I say as I end the call. I toss my phone on the nightstand and lay down beside Ava. I pull her tight against me and breathe in her scent

**AVA**

I open my eyes to find myself in a moonlit room, a heavy weight pinning me down. I roll over to find myself face to face with Liam who was lightly snoring. I wiggle myself up against him and burry my face into his chest. As soon as I got comfortable, it hit me, the horrible urge to pee. I go to get up but Liam's arms around me tighten. The more I struggle against him to get up the more I need to pee and the tighter he holds me. I start poking Liam in the ribs until he finally groans.

"Liam... I need to pee." I say as I give him one final poke in the ribs. Finally, he began to stir, and he woke up enough to move his arm with a groan. I quickly crawl out of bed and take off running for the bathroom. I get to the bathroom and relieve my over full bladder. I make my way back out to the main part of the bedroom to see Liam sitting upright on the bed typing on his phone. Liam's stomach let's out a loud and violent growl I let out a small giggle as I crawl back in the bed.

"You sound like you could eat an army." I say laughing.

"I am about to message Tyler to bring my car keys so we can find somewhere to get something to eat."

I lay on my back for a minute contemplating whether or not I was more tired or hungry. With a dull pain of hunger beginning to grow in the pit of my stomach I reluctantly get back out of bed. I grab a pair of sweat pants and a loose shirt and begin getting changed. I look over to see Liam pulling on a pair of grey sweatpants that outlined the bulge between his legs, and a tight-fitting t-shirt. I bite my lip as I force myself to look away from Liam, how did I manage to get so lucky as to get him as my mate. I make my way to the washroom as someone knocks on the door followed by the sound of the room key sliding into the hole. I hear Liam and Tyler exchange a few words followed by the door closing. I open the door to the bathroom to see Liam standing there spinning his keys on his index finger.

"Tyler said he found a twenty-four-hour diner not far from here where we can get something." He says as he opens the bedroom for me.

"Really a place that's open all day and night?" I say as we make our way to the stairs. Just as we are rounding the corner to the stairs Erica comes storming past me almost knocking me over. Luckily, Liam was right behind me to keep me balanced. I glare at Erica I was honestly sick of her and wish she would just disappear.

"Please keep your head up and watch where you're going Erica. I know you're not blind and I know I'm not invisible. Although you wish I were now." I can feel her glare cutting right thru me as I go to walk past her, and I feel her hand grab ahold of my upper arm.
