Chapter 7 Why does it look so familiar...

"Good evening sir "Eddie said "Sorry we are closed the old man said harshly. He was wearing a band of Mexico written boldly on it,just like the one my mother had. "We will like to spend the night here. Can you perhaps spare us two rooms" I said in spanish and sneered at Eddie. "Spanish! Oh gracious amigos come in!" He said smiling. "What did you say to him?"Eddie asked but I gave no response. "Here are the rooms go in" the man added. I then entered one of the rooms "Ariana! wait.. I am.."Eddie said and I shut the door on him. He now left.

I only drank some coffee and threw myselfdown on the stomach and slept soundly. "Harrrr!" I screamed as I woke up. I had a dream, I saw Speer, he was taken away from me in that dream. "Speer!" I echoed. I used my face napkin to clean my sweat. I went into the bathroom to wash up. At home... "Where is my sis?"Speer asked "Ariana! I haven't seen her since yesterday. I guess she is in her room "Kira said "Let me check "Speer said and pushed the door. "She isn't there!" He echoed "Maybe she didn't come home last night, come sit,let's have breakfast" Kira added and sat down. "Aren't you eating ?don't just stand there take a seat. I don't think you want to miss out. It tastes really good! "She exclaimed "I'm not hungry! Today is the parent-teacher meeting and she was supposed to come. She promised me. Now my classmates will have something to say about me. I guess she never keeps her promises. Bye, I am off, I will be back a little late;don't worry, I will be fine . don't tell my sister . She doesn't care anyways" he said and walked out. "Speer!oh no this isn't good, what do l do now!" Kira exclaimed and dialled Ariana's number. "Hi Ariana it's kira,there is a problem" she said "What's the problem? " I asked "Weren't you supposedto go to the PT meeting today?Speer is pretty paranoid"she replied. "Gosh! I totally forgot.what do l do now? I can't come, I am in the middle of an important case. Kira can you go for me please!" I pleaded "I will, but you still need to talk to him. Bye ! I got wotk to do!" She added and ended the call. I dialled his number but he wasn't picking "Speer, pick up!" I echoed. Then there was a knock at the door. "Who is it?" I questioned "Eddie! " he replied "Please leave!" I said "I am sorry about the way I acted last night. I'm sorry! " he replied "Still, I don't want to see you!" I added "Please open the door! Today is the day to finish this case once and for all. I know you want to get an increment" he said "Fine!" I added and opened the door "Let's go to the boutique" he said "But first, let's stop by the restaurant, I'm starving!" I said and touched my stomach which grumbled. "Haha!"we chuckled "Thank you sir" I said and headed for the car. "Come again dear!"the old man added. "Get in ed, I'll drive! "I said and started driving "I thought you said there was no diesel in the car?" I said surprised "Yeah,there was none, but I begged the man's daughter to fill it for us" he replied "That's nice!" I added "But where the hell are we going to?" He asked "Bocas Grill restaurant "I replied "Ok! " he added and remained silent "Let's just pack here!" Eddie said impatiently. I packed and came out of the car in a haste. "Smells nice let's order, I'm starving! " I said and Eddie headed for the counter to talk to a guy. As I returned to my seat, I bumped into someone. "So sorry!" I said jerking and held him by the hand. I looked at the tattoo, it looked the same with the man I met at the bar. "Watch where you are going" he remarked and withdrew from me. "I'm sorry! "I'm echoed and went to sit down. I couldn't take my eyes off him "Why does that tattoo look so familiar! "I whispered aloud. "Ariana! are you alright? "Eddie said breaking my thoughts. "Oh I'm fine!" I echoed out of my thoughts. "Have the menu" Eddie said. I then collected it from him. "Em..Can I have some lobster rolls with some banana split" I said stammering "Right away ma'am " the waitress replied "Ariana are you really ok? Is something bothering you? "He questioned "I'm.. fine, I need to visit the restroom " I stammered and got up. I put on the tap and began to wash my face. "What is wrong with me today? " I grinned . I came out of the restroom and sighted the man walking out. I wanted to go after him,but I couldn't leave Eddie behind. I now returned to my seat. "Ed we gotta get going " I said "Why the rush, you haven't eaten what you ordered" He replied "It doesn't matter, miss, over here ! could you pack our meal we are kinda in a hurry! "I yelled. "Ok! "she replied and packed it. I collected the pack quickly and paid. "Keep the change as your tip!" I added and headed out and Eddie followed behind. I got into the car breathing heavily. "Now, can you explain what is going on? I don't seem to get what is wrong with you? "He grinned. "I'm sorry! I just got a lot of things on my mind. Let's finish what we have started ok! "I replied. "Off we go! "He added and drove off. "So many clothes what do I choose!" I questioned myself. "Pick what ever you want after all, Mr. Josh is paying!"Ed said. "What ! so he was paying the whole time!" I said perplexed. "Do you think I will use my own money! Now get going, we have no time" he added. I went behind the curtain and put a dress on. "Tada!" I said and twirled around. "Good but find something more... attractive " he replied. And I went back behind the curtain. I kept trying different dresses,looking for the perfect one. "This is the last one in this collection " the lady said. I sighed as I put on the dress. "Is it ok?" I asked. "Perfecto! This is the one, it's... splendid! "He said pretty marvelled. "Pack this up, we will like to leave now" I added. "Yes ma'am. May I ask? Is he your husband? " she asked. "No no!nothing like that " we stammered. "Bye! thanks!" We added and sluggishly went out. "Why did she ask such a question? "Ed grinned and I chuckled. "Where did you pack the car?" I asked. "Somewhere, but it's quite far from here,but first let's stop at the Bay nd Lox arms shop" he said. "Arms! For what!" I exclaimed and followed behind. "Hey ! man what are you doing here?"the man said and they exchanged pleasantries. "Ariana meet Harry Rex, he a very good friend of mine and he sells the best arms in town " Ed added. "Hi! "I said and waved at him. "Let's get to business. Harry we need your help and some guns" Ed said. "Ok, I got guns, I could give you the best. Wait does this have to do with a crime chase?game on. I'm in.so which kind of guns you need?" He asked. "Those up there! They look portable! "I said pointing upwards. "Those guns are one of the best guns I have,but hey how do you know about guns!" He remarked. "I'm a cop" I scoffed. "Ok, now we need a plan. Here is what we'll do..."Ed said. "I'm will be back in a sec" I said and went outside. I pulled out my phone and dialled Speer's number but it wasn't going, I tried Kira's line but to no avail. "Gosh! " I said infuriated and went in. "Ed, we will need someone to get us in" I said. "I know someone who can help! "Harry smirked. "Thanks man, now let's get going!" Ed added. "Yeah we should,the cops will be here any minute " Harry replied. "Is this business... Illegal? " I asked. "No, just kidding! "He teased. "No time for jokes, get in the van" Ed said and pushed him in. "Where actually is our van?" I questioned. "At the hotel where we are going to " Ed replied. "How did it get.."I said interrupted. "It's ok ! Someone dropped it there for us!"Ed assured and drove off for the hotel.
