Chapter 4 An eyesore

The driver initially thought Leonard would scold him due to the sudden brake. Upon seeing what was going on in the back seat, however, he heaved a sigh of relief.

Leonard's pupils tightened slightly, and he did not mean to get up. Ashley's lips were soft, which tasted like a sweet. The man realized that whether it was in the irrational situation last night or a sober one at present, deep inside, he had a strong urge to get close to the woman's body.

Ashley was also inexperienced in a romantic relationship. She widened her eyes open to stare at the man's magnified face and became stunned.

Leonard did not get off the woman after several seconds. He took the phone from behind Ashley and deleted the photo before returning it to her. "No matter what purpose you have in approaching me, I won't let you succeed. Next time when I find you try to calculate me, I won't let go of you easily."

Leonard was a proud man and could not accept that a woman seduced him by the aphrodisiac perfume. Even his breathing was tinged with traces of wrath at this moment. If his grandfather did not show up in the doorway of the hotel room, he would not have agreed to marry the woman. He just wanted to refute the news saying that he was gay.

"What did you say?" Ashley had a confused look in her eyes. "You think I am calculating you?"

"You heard me." Leonard's voice was cold.

"Do you refer to what happened last night?" That was the only possibility Ashley could think of. "I admit that I shouldn't take the room card to test you at the hotel last night. But I was unwilling to see things develop in that way. Although I showed up in your room on my own, I am just a woman. I lost my virginity to you. I don't think you have a reason to get mad at me."

The vibe Leonard gave off was even colder. He turned to look at Ashley. "I have seen a lot of girls like you who are willing to sacrifice everything for money. Now you've got a seaside villa worth tens of millions. And you think you're at a loss?"

"Leonard Bryant." Feeling irritated, Ashley blushed all over. "Your family is rich, so what? Take the keys. Let me get out of the car."

Ashley threw that bunch of keys in her hand at Leonard.

The driver in the front of the vehicle would definitely not stop it without instruction from his boss.

The look in Leonard's eyes was even more frosty. Staring at the keys that Ashley threw at him, he flew into a rage and looked the woman into her eyes. "I'm telling you. Yes, we're legally a couple now. But it's just a marriage of convenience. Don't try to challenge my bottom line. You play your role well, and you will have everything you want. Otherwise, I will leave you with nothing."

As Leonard finished his words, the car stopped in front of the Pear Blossom Garden Villa, which had a mountain in the back and a sea in the front. It was located in the expensive villa area in Sea City, and the families living around were all wealthy and influential ones.

"Stay at the villa and don't make trouble," said Leonard in a frosty voice.

Ashley glanced at Leonard before getting out of the car, then closed the car door heavily. The car drove away in a flash.

"Leonard Bryant!" Ashley held the keys in her hand and gritted her teeth with hatred. Though she liked Leonard for years, she never contacted him in real life. Her knowledge of him was from the Internet, newspapers, and magazines.

Ashley looked at the villa with white walls and red tiles. It was gorgeous and impressive. Then, she opened the door with the key. The house was spacious and bright with a modern, simple decoration style. It seemed that no one had lived in this villa as all the stuff inside was brand new and spotless.

Ashley walked around and was amazed at how enjoyable the place was. A few steps away from the villa, there was a private beach, which had a yacht on it. Behind the house, there was a large garden which had lots of expensive trees. Also, each of the rooms in the villa was beautifully designed and attractive.

From last night to the present, Ashley felt like she was dreaming. Standing on the balcony of the master bedroom and looking at the blue sea in the distance, she thought of Leonard's harsh words and felt lost inside. Leonard must hate her a lot.

The look in Ashley's eyes was full of sadness. She just wanted to meet her idol last night. Although she intended to see if he was gay, she should not have been bold enough to have sex with Leonard. She tried to recall what had happened last night, and her face became hot. She did take the initiative as Leonard's figure was terrific.

Just then, Ashley's cell phone broke the silence. She took it out to find that it was from Nadia Webster, one of her college classmates. They drank together last night, and Nadia deliberately ordered her a glass of high alcohol to instigate Ashley.

At this moment, Nadia, together with those friends who hung out with them last night, called Ashley, "Did you enter Leonard's hotel room last night? What's the result of your testing of his sexual orientation?"

Ashley's mind was in thick confusion, and she sighed heavily.

"Cheer up. The whole world knows that Leonard is gay. Thank you for your testing. You've saved lots of women from obsessing themselves with him." Upon hearing Ashley's sigh, Nadia thought that she had confirmed that the target male was gay.

Ashley heaved another sigh.

"Come on, Ashley, cheer up." Nadia smiled. "Oh, by the way, how did you come here last night?"

"Pardon?" Ashley was confused.

Nadia's smile was somewhat embarrassed. "Ashley, if we tell you, can you not get mad?"

"What is it?" Ashley asked further.

Nadia glanced over the group of friends around, saying, "Nothing. Forget about it. It's nice that you're fine."

Ashley did not overthink it but nodded, replying, "I'm fine."

"Come to meet us at the Charm Bar tonight! The class monitor will buy us a drink to celebrate two of our classmates getting offers from the Bryant Group." Nadia smiled and made a victory sign to the men around her.

"Drink again?" Ashley replied with a frown. "I'll go to the workplace tomorrow for the first day. Let's not drink. It's no good to get late."

"No worries. It's just for fun. We shouldn't let our monitor down, right?" Nadia smiled. "I promise you you'll be released for home before 12 o'clock."

Ashley thought for a while and nodded in agreement. Due to her friendly personality, she had lots of friends and rarely said no to her friends' request. "Okay, then. I'll see you guys there tonight."

"Okay, I'll see you then." Nadia nodded.

In the cafe, Nadia hung up and looked at the others with a smile. "Do you guys believe that nothing happened to Ashley last night? I mean, we put drugs in her drink and sprayed aphrodisiac perfume last night. If no man freed her from the lust, she should be lying in the hospital now, right?"

"Could the drugs be fake or ineffective?" Another woman glanced at Nadia and said thoughtfully.

"How is that possible?" Nadia shook her head. "No way."

"Maybe she solved it by herself? Girls also masturbate sometimes. And it's easier to get some sex toys from an offline shop or online," A man said with a lewd smile.

Sitting in the chair, Nadia said with a somewhat blank look in her eyes. "I am curious about how she solved it."

"Why don't we feed her some drugs to try it again tonight?" A woman suggested, "Let's send her a skirt with aphrodisiac perfume sprayed upon. By then, even if she could contain herself, those males in the bar will make moves on her upon seeing her seductive appearance."

"Good idea," A man said, then walked behind Nadia and moved his head closer to the woman's cheek. "Aren't you and Ashley good friends? Why do you hate her so much? Girls' friendship is horrifying."

Nadia curled up her lips into a vicious sneer. "She is an eyesore for me as she is too excellent."
