Chapter 7 The Man Found Her

Henry leaned against the car and took stock of the surroundings. Quiet and elegant, the district was heavily guarded. If he didn't have an estate here, it wouldn't be that easy to get in. The houses here were all detached villas, with gardens and swimming pools. Each villa was separated by a distance, not disturbing each other. There were also 24-hour security patrols and a lot of surveillance cameras around. The residents did not have to worry about their safety.

When Henry was taking stock, a car drove over. The car stopped at the side of the road, and Sofia got off the car and walked over with a little astonishment.

"Why are you here?" Sofia asked. The man who used to ignore her came to find her on the first day she moved out of his house.

"Open the door. Let's talk inside." Although there wasn't anyone passing by here, Henry didn't want to talk about things with Sofia on the side of the road.

Sofia looked at him and pressed the remote lock, and the wooden gate of the garden slowly opened. She returned to the car, drove it into the garage, and then got off with the things she had purchased in the supermarket. She saw Henry standing not far away.

"Come in," Sofia said indifferently, carrying two heavy bags of things and leading the way. Walking into the house, she placed the things on the kitchen bar and then took them out one by one to place them. She completely ignored Henry behind her.

Henry Smith stood in the living room, watching Sofia's actions and did not say anything. But he looked around silently. Unlike the luxurious mansion, this place was cozier. Warm colors and elaborate decorations, such as flowers on the glass coffee table in the living room and lovely cartoon pattern pillows on the sofa, were not seen in the mansion.

Sofia tidied up her things and came over with a cup of warm water. She placed the crystal cup on the coffee table, "Take a seat. I just moved in today and my things aren't completely organized yet, so you'll just have water."

Henry looked at the cup and then sat down on the sofa. The couch was soft, and he didn't like the feeling of his whole body sinking into it, so he frowned slightly.

"If you're not comfortable, then let's go over to the dining room. The chairs might be more comfortable for you." Sofia didn't miss the flicker of discomfort on Henry's face and said tenderly.

"No, thanks." Henry coldly refused her and looked at Sofia seriously, "We haven't divorced yet, so you shouldn't move out. I don't want to get too much attention from the media."

Sofia smiled mockingly, "You're thinking too much. I've been married to you for six years and not many people know that I'm your wife. A lot of people think you're unmarried and single, so now that I've left the mansion, who will know about our relationship?"

Henry was rebuffed by Sofia. His gaze became even colder, "If you want to divorce me because of Nancy Andrew, I hope you'll stop losing your temper."

Sofia rudely sarcastically mocked him, "Why do you think I'm throwing a tantrum instead of truly wanting to divorce you? That's right, I decided to divorce you because of Nancy, and that's because I felt that the balance between us was shattered when she came along. Although we didn't marry because of love, we are equal in a marital relationship. What makes you think I can put up with the affair between you and another woman?"

"I didn't cheat on you, nor did I have an affair with Nancy," Henry said in a low voice. He frowned unhappily, feeling that Sofia was making a big fuss.
