Chapter 2 Mr. Smith and Mrs. Smith.

Sofia, who was originally a little distracted, was astonished when she heard Henry's voice. She subconsciously looked at Henry and saw that Henry was also looking at her. She immediately resumed her professional secretary style and said in a serious manner: "Miss, Mr. Smith has been married. Please don't disturb him. He has a very important meeting later. Mr. Smith, please get in the car, or you'll be late."

Henry no longer looked at Sofia and he looked at Nancy, who wanted to cry. Then he got on the car with an indifferent expression.

When Sofia saw Nancy's sad and tearful appearance, as a woman, she felt sympathetic. She really didn't know how Henry could be so cruel as to leave without Nancy. Was it true that Henry had no feelings for Nancy anymore?

"Don't you get on the car?" Henry's indifferent voice came from the car.

"I'm sorry." Sofia apologized to him. She was a little distracted by Nancy's appearance, and she was just about to open the passenger door when she heard Henry's voice come again.

"You sit in the back." Henry sounded somewhat unhappy.

"Yes." Sofia looked at Nancy once again, took a deep breath, and then got on the car. As soon as the door closed, the car started up and left.

The flap in the middle of the car slowly rose up, isolating the space from the front seat and allowing Henry and Sofia to have a chat quietly and alone.

"Why didn't you tell her that you are my wife? Is the title of Mrs. Smith really repugnant so much?" Henry looked down at the document and said to Sofia.

"If you want her to know, why didn't you just tell her who I am?" Sofia smiled briefly and said calmly, "You had many chances to let everyone know who I am, but you didn't. So, Mr. Smith, you're the one who should be blamed."

"Mrs. Smith, you've gotten bolder and said that I should be blamed." Henry looked up at Sofia, "Don't worry. I'll let everyone know that you're Mrs. Smith."

Sofia was a little nervous. She didn't want others to know her identity and didn't want to live under the attention of others. But she looked at Henry calmly, "OK, but it's better to settle your affairs first. I don't want to be disturbed, and I don't want William to be in danger because his identity is exposed."

"You don't trust me?" Henry frowned and looked at Sofia sharply.

Sofia calmly looked back at him and said indifferently, "Mr. Smith, we're here. It's time to get off the car." Sofia wanted to open the door and get off, but Henry pulled her wrist.

"You still haven't answered my question. You don't trust me?" Henry asked Sofia again.

"Six years ago, you needed a wife and I needed a place to stay, and we each took what we needed. I'm grateful for the life and work and William you've given me all these years. The title of Mrs. Smith never belonged to me, and it's time to return it to its true owner." Sofia calmly finished her words, smiled gently at Henry, pushed his hand away, and opened the door to get off.

Henry looked at Sofia's back. They had been married for six years. Whether in life or work, he and Sofia had been together longer than with anyone else, and they even had a child, but he could never see through what Sofia was thinking.
