Chapter 2 Fear Not, I'll Ask the Doctor to Be Gentle

The man put Simona on his lap, and she grasped his clothes with both hands as if she was afraid that he would drop her by the road. The mud all over her body stained his expensive suit.

She cast her eyes up, trying to see the man's face.
