Chapter 1 So Dirty

In the night sky, streaks of lightning flashed by, accompanied by rumbling thunder!

An exhausted Simona Sam crawled up from a mud pit, "Ow, ow, ouch, I, I..."

"Alright, alright, since you can't speak smoothly, talk less, save your energy, and run for your life!"

"G... grandma... I... I won't marry the son of Christ Family!"

"Simona, is it worth the trouble?"

The old woman looked at the girl that she brought up with distress and sighed, "Mr. Christ is just a widower and doesn't mind that you are a stammerer. You shouldn't be so choosy. Isn't it better to marry the man for a better life than face the deadly torture from your second aunt and others?"

"No... I won't!"

Simona wiped the mud on her face and bit her lip tightly, her eyes blazing with anger.

She was only 20 years old, innocent, and pretty. Why did she have to marry an old widower?

She didn't even need to think to know that it was a trap set by her second uncle and aunt.

"Girl, you will suffer. You have nothing to rely on. How could you deal with those from Sam Family?" The old woman shook her head helplessly.

This girl was so pitiful. Her mother died when she was born, and she lost her dad a few years ago. Life was hard to live under other's roof, but this girl was obstinate and never submitted to others' will.

Because of that, she was beaten up tonight by her second aunt again.

She had been persuading her to tolerate them. In that case, she could suffer less.

But this girl hurled all kinds of abuse at her second aunt.

Given that lady's short temper, if she didn't run away tonight, she would be beaten half-dead for sure.

Bearing the pain, Simona ran forward as fast as she could!

Not far from Sam's house, a luxurious black car was slowly running over.

The car suddenly stopped by the road, and the middle-aged driver looked back at the man in the back seat, "Sir, Sam's house is just ahead."

"But are you sure you'll marry the daughter from Sam Family? Rumor has it that girl..."

She was mildly mentally challenged.

How could the most powerful, noble, and eminent man in North City marry a retard?

He would become a universal laughing stock!

On the expressionless face of the man were perfect and sculpted features. When he looked out of the window, his eyes were filled with coldness.

Under a high nose bridge, his thin lips moved slightly. His voice was soft and deep, "It doesn't matter what she is, but Simona is the only woman I want to marry."

With a slight sigh, his subordinate stepped on the accelerator again.

The car jerked to a halt because there seemed to be a black mass rushing over!

While panting, Simona put her hands on the front of the car, "S... stop!"

The subordinate frowned with caution, "Sir, I'll get off for a look."

A flicker of an imperceptible smile flashed across the eyes of the man, "It's okay. I'll go."

The car door opened, and he stood upright in the night rain which wet his expensive suit.

He walked closer and cast his eyes down.

As the rain pattered on her face, Simona couldn't see anything and only held on tight to the man's leg, "Could you let... let me hide... hide in your car?"

Without the slightest hesitation, the man scooped Simona up from the ground.

Back in the seat, he ordered in a deep voice, "Drive, back to the villa."

The subordinate was struck dumb, "Sir, are... you taking her back?"

The corners of the man's mouth slightly curving up, he wiped the mud on Simona's face gently with his thick hand and shot a meaningful look at her, "So dirty, take her back and have her cleaned up."
