Chapter 6 A NIGHT WITH THE HANDSOME STRANGE MAN

Songs after songs play as girls grind on men's laps . Men and women are seen either rocking or making out at the corners of the room.

The room is filled with drunk men and woman as the engaged in different activities to spiced up their fun.

They have no care in the world.Tonight's is for them ,theirs to enjoy.

At a corner sat two girls, May aND Joanna as they drink to their heart felt content.

"Damm Anna ,why dont you hook up with a man.Just for tonight have a complete fun girl.This live is for the living."May whined

She've been trying to convice her for the pas hour but all her effort seem futile.

she's damn to sturborn.

Joanna shoOKs her head in denial of the idea.

It does not sound pleasing at all to her hearing .it doesnt add up to her moral life.

"Anna come on try it ,to release those pent up desire you've got."May suggested feeling frustrated.

If a stranger should hear her ,they will think she's a bad influence to her but She isn't. she happens to understands her friends spoken and unspoken word.

She found it hard to go for what she want expecially if moral decency is involved.

"You've made up your heart ,right?"May whine again hoping that she will say no

Taking a deep breath Joanna said.

"May, it isn't like I don't want that but...."she pause".alright let's do it .who's it ganna be then"

"what shitty questioned is that ?look around...tons of men surround us who won't give a second thought taking you,many have be given you signal ever since we came here .just walk up to one and the rest is history."May replied.

"I do notice, but none is to my desire

"okayee you mean to tell me ,all this hot sweaty ass g in here ,none caught your eyes?"May said dramatically waving her hand around.

"No"

"look around. Joanna try looking around again"she said tiredly

Joanna turned looking at the whole men in the room one after the other observingly .

One caught her eyes .A man sitting alone at the darkest part of the bar drinking as he watch the people in the room.

'His sad'that the first thing that comes to her mind.Even with the dimely lit room she was abLe to notice his hard features which potrayed nthing but sadness .

She felt her soul reaching out to him which she doesn't understand.

Just for the night she want to tske away his pain.

She got up.

" I've found the man to be with tonight."

"who?"May asked all smiles

"Him......"Joanna said pointing at the man whose facial features can't be made out due to how dark the place he sat is.

But one could tell that his not just handsome but rich.very rich.

May smiles vanished .

She looked up to her friend " Are you sure about this?"

She nodded

"um..em..oksy.Goodluck girlfriend " May said trying to hid the fear she felt towards the man when she looked at him.

The disturbing fact about the man is the coldness emitting from him.A great coldness which sent fear to May that got her panicking.

Of all the whole meN in the room,she does not understand why joanna will chose a terrific man like that.

I want her to have fun not get herself killed.she could have choseN someone else not him.How can a scary man like that attract het?.

May continue to laments as she watched her friend got close to the man.

"No,I can't watch this.Oh God please save my drunk friend,she knows not what she's doing."she prays as she walked to the restroom.

Hoping in God for him to save her friend from that man.

"Hi handsome,mind if I join you."Joanna said trying to sound seductive.

"Fuck off lady."the man said drunk ly making her wonder how much ,he drank.

She sat anyway.

"you seem sad and lonely "she began

"You know it not good for a man like you to be this sad drinking alone."she said

"I told you to fuck off.didn'....."

"I know ."Joanna cut him off " I will ,when I'm done with my mission " she said.

The man looked up for the first time to see the face of the woman who was fearless enough to come to him.

surprised he asked"and what is your mission?"

"To take your pain away even if just for the night."

The man scoffs.

"Go straight to the point ."He said, rudely."what do you want?"

"you?"Joanna said looking deeply into his eyes."I want to keep you company tonight .I want to show you how wonderful a stranger can make you feel .let me .will you?"

Filled with wonder over the sturborn woman who isn't showing any atom of fear.He closed his eyes,open it aND gazed deeply into her oceanic eyes.

Joanna manage to hid her fear as she maintain his gaze.

"Alright .How much do you need for your services?he asked as he bring out bond le of dollars from his pocket."will this be eno ugh or do you want more."

"what do you think I am? .A beggar or a prostitute? "she asked angrily.

Surprised was an under-satement.He was astonished. who is this woman?he wondered as he admire her but caution himself not to fall for her pretty charms. She might be an imposter .he addmit to himself.

He keeps back the money.

"so, what do you have in mind?how do you intend to take my pain?

"follow me "she said as she began to walk upstair.

He followed her trying not to have a rethink of what his about to do.

He hate women.But if she can make him forget just this night .it worth given a try.

When the reach ed a room joanna grab his shirt .

He flinched.

Surprised ly he isn't reporse by her touch.Havent this lady surprise him enough ?what other surprise will she give him more?he thought as he let her drag him into the room.

Joanna see ing him co-operate took the action further .she's determined to make this wierd handsome stranger's night a better one.
