"what?why are you standing there aND staring at me like I have said something wrong. Do you have another solution?."

"No.but don't you think......"

"Don't think about it May, just follow my lead except you have another solution. if not do what I said, unless, you want to get fired as for me ,I still love my job."Joanna said as she walk to the door .May following behind .

Reaching the door she peeped in making sure there's no one around.she grab May's hand as they quietly sneak in.

Just when they thought that they've escape ,they heard a loud vo ice halting them from taking a step forward.

"stop right there"

"Ahhh! busted"the shouted as the turn around to meet their boss angry gaze.

"my gud !this will never end well."murmured May as Joanna nodded in support of her statement.

"why are you two late to work again ".he stated as he stare at them angrily.

"we're sorry sir ,we promised not to do it again".Joanna said pleading

"I've been hearING that almost everyday,but nothing changed.so answer me,why are you late to work."

"em...em..sir you see,the thing is that;we ....we....we.....""Joanna stamered

"you what "the boss cut her off angrily having heard enough of her stamerine .he turn to May and said

"tell me the truth. why are you girls late.And don't you dare lie "

"Am sorry sir ,we have no excuse.just that we woke up late.we are really sorry ,please forgive us "may answered with sincerity in her eyes .

The boss breath out loud from his nostrils and glare hard at the girls especially Joanna and said

"I know fully well that it was your doing that you two are late .I will except the two of you today but their will be no next time .Let today be the last or else....."he said as he walk out leaving his sentence for them to imagine by them self what will be the out come of their lateness next time .

"phew,that was close I thought that was the end of my work here.I can't imagine losing my job .The thought of looking for a job else where scare the shot out of me .I hate to admit ,I love working here .Even the pay is good."

Joanna said sincerely.

"me too"May agreed"how I wish you will show it in your action,all will be good."he added.

"excuse me,what are you trying to say that I don't show how important my job is to me ."joanna asked pised.

"I'm not trying to say ,I've said it already."May replied not minding that she is angry .

Joanna seeing that her friend does say anything she like to anybody without caring about their feelings breath out. then asked in a calm way ;

"How is it that I don't show it ?"

"Are you seriously asking me that.who stays in bed till 6:00,spent more than one hour getting ready for a work that starts by 7:00. Someone who valued their job."she replied sarcastically.

"whatever.just because I woke up late today, i won't hear the end of it .is not like am the only one who have woken up late or have been late to work in the whole world before"she murmured .

May who heard it interjected immediately

"you aren't the only one Joanna but too much of everything is bad .coming to work late or once in a while isn't bad Joanna but consistency is very bad. very ,very bad Joanna.Try to improve in you punctuality especially when it consign important things .Being early to work or appointment is very good .it brings goodluck aND sucess.Try to change in other to be better than you are now.okay?"she advice calmly causing joanna to smile .

She said in a teasing way .

"okay MA .I didn't know you have a degree in advice I would have come to you a long time ago ."

"please do not tease me Joanna,I am only saying what I thought is right to my friend"she replied blushing.

"I know .Thank you I wI'll try to improve ."

"please do, it necessary."May answered looking at her expectantly.

"you know May ,actually there....."

"Joanna!!!May!!! are you two going to stand there all day discussing only what God knows of.will you start your work this instance."their boss shouted angrily seeing that the two girls have been staN ding where he left them talking about things he does not want to know of .

when the girls heard his voice,the ran off in the speed of lighting to their different working post.

"phew.that was close."the murmured to themself as the breath out a sign of relieve as they start their daily usually work.

Sweeping,arranging and packaging of dresses to be delivered to the rightful owners who ordered for it.

"Sir,sir."the assistance called as he rushed in panicking."she's here

"your mo...."the assistance word came to abrupt stop as the door was pushed open with great force that if the door wasn't a strong one it might have falling off as a woman walked in with a smirk on her face while the companies security are behind her .they don't know what to do. drag her out or leave her .they looked up to the boss waI ting for a command.
