Chapter 4 EVERYMAN HAD GOT A WEAKNESS

"his mother came and ....."Benson cut him off with a scream

"oh!shit. I will be right there."he stated as the line went off.

How the mighty falls .the phrase could be used to refer to Alexande at the moment .Sitting on the flour in a messy office with broken items scartreed all over the whole place no one could ever imagine that the almighty, powerfull , fearless,rich and cold hearted man like Alexander could be reduced to nothing by the merry visit of a woman who happened to be his mother.Hahaha even the devil does have a weakness.

Alexander king A well known powerful billionaire ,who own the most largest company in the whole of new york.the'xander kings companies(XKC)'. established in all part of the unted states and in other countries.He have many ophanages ,schools and hotels functioning under him.

wit everything he owns no one will ever believe that there wI'll be something in this world that could make him vulnerable .but that isn't the case .

His past has always been the demon in his life.it is a thorn choking him all the time .he can never get past it no matter how he tried ,it will always hunt him down.

"mummy where are you going"litle Alexander asked seeing her mummy packing her things.

"where mummy?"

"far away from here."

"Will you take me with you?"

"No"she answered as she continue to pack her things.

Little Alex who heard his mommas answer couldn't help but to ask another question.

"mummy when are you coming back?"

"I'm not coming back ever again " she replied

"why mummy?did I do anything bad?" he cried looking at his mum with a teary eyes.

"No you didn't .I just got tired of staying here with you .seeing your useless face everyday is suffocating me ,so am leaving to a place I won't see you every again."she said as she grab her luggage ,she walked to the door,turn back to him and said ;

"I stock the kitchen with some food stuff and there is little money I kepr in your room.Hopefully it can sustain you for sometime .if you are lucKY you might meet a saviour who will take you in .if not then await your death. Goodbye Alexander kings."she said as she walked out of the door .

"No!!!" little Alex screamed as he rushed after his mother.

"mummy please"he begged crying as he hugged his mother's leg.

"Don't go.please don't leave me. I will do anything you asked me to .I won't disobey you ,I won't bring any troubles to you .I promise mummy ,I promise."he still added pleadingly wishing for her to change her mind.

"I don't love you Alex.I shold have gotten rid of you the momrnt I find out that I'm pregnant ,but your daddy forced me to keep you .you're a mistake AlexAnder .My greatest mistake."

she said as she pushed him out and walk away .Amidst his pleas and cries he never turned back.

when benson arrived at his friend office ,the site of broken Alexander sitting on the floor makes his heart becomes hesvy.

"God ,What have that woman turn a powerful man into."he asked rhetoric ally as he walked to him.he sat down on the floor facing him

He allowed a thick silence to exist between them for so me time before he broke it .

"Xander "he called "you know, you won't remain like this all day .you have to put yourself together,put your past behind you .you can't keep breaking down each time you see her .I think it high time you fight those memory and move on. fight it Zander before it ruin you."

"yeah.If only it easy."

"but you have to atleast try.you got to....."

"you think I haven't .did you think I haven't tried every thing I can to .Do you know the worst ?"Alexander asked Benson making him shook his head 'No'.

"I still love her"he admitted causing Benson to look at him in surprised because it is the first time his opening up to him or any other person."I can't hate him no matter how I try to. I wished that one day she will tell me that she loves me .that she's sorry for leaving.that things will turN out to be before my seven years birthday.you see ,eveN thought the things she did to me hurt .I still want her to love me. pathetic right?"Alexander said as he chuckled bitterly.

Benson hearing everything do not know what to say to his friend.

"Who wold have thought that as powerful,fearless and rich as my friend xander is ,he still long for his mother's love.The world is never balance."he reasoned to himself.

He would never have believe it if he haven't heard it from his mouth himself. "And everyone thinKS his a demon with no emotion but he is a broken mess.Only hid himself with a cold facade."he thought to himself as he shook his head in an unbelievable manner.

"it okay xander ,everything will be alright."he consol as he look up to his friend who nodded and breath out a deep sign hoping that it wI'll surely be okay.
