*** Next Morning ***

Sounds of birds chirping could be heard as Heedah yawned, stretching herself

Normally, She would have been up for her daily workout, but since it's a new environment, she decided to take the day off till she's familiar with the environment

She heard a knock at the door and groaned, exactly what she hates

She walked towards the door and opened it

" Sir asks you to come down from Breakfast " The maid said

" Breakfast?.. isn't that too early? " She asked

" We eat breakfast really early here.. and moreover it's just 7 " The maid said with a bow

" Is mom there? " Heedah asked

" Yes ma'am " She replied

" That's new... Mom always leaves for work early and never wait for breakfast " She muttered before turning to the maid

" I will be down soon " She said and the maid bowed before leaving

" I think I'm loving this home... There's peace just like It was at home " She muttered as she undressed and walked into the bathroom

" Where's she? " Anna asked for the umpteenth time

" She told me she would be down soon , I should go and check on her " The Maid said

" No, Jace... " Gaby called and Jace raised his head

" Go and check on your sister " He said and Jace raised his brow

" Why should I?.... "

" Just do as I say! " Gabby snapped an he kept mute, as he stood up and left without a word

" That was harsh " Anna complained

" Yeah I know " He said with a smile and Anna wondered why he smiled

" So, we starting work today? " Gabby asked and she nodded

Jace approached Heedah's room, he made to open the door, but someone did instead, and she came face In face with him and they both stopped and stared for a while

Jace turned and walked away without saying a word

" Just as I like it.. no talk at all " Heedah muttered to herself and brought out her headset and placed it on as she walked down the stairs

" Morning " She muttered and pecked the couple's cheek

Jace scoffed inwardly as she pecked his dad's cheek

She sat down and start to dig into her food

" You're always Late " Gabby said and she smiled

" It's new to me, I always eat alone " She said as she found her way with the sauce in front of Jace

" Alone? " He asked

" Um.. yeah, Mom goes to work early and I eat alone, and I love eating late " She replied

" Oh " Gabby muttered and focused on his meal

" We're leaving soon.. we need to announce the partnership of the companies " Gaby said

" All? " Heedah asked

" Not all " He said and she nodded

" You're dressed in pink again? " Anna asked and she only smiled

It was then Jace noticed, she was dressed in pink all through, her earings was pink, and the bracelet on her hands, and her whole outfit, including her sneakers, she really is a pink freak

" You look like you're going out for a workout? " Jace suddenly asked, noticing her whole outfit

It looks suprising to her that he talked but decided to answer anyways

" Yeah, I wanted to, but since am new to this environment.. and this is my normal outfit.. I dress like this,, it makes me feel comfortable " She said

" You're a tomboy? " Gabby asked

" Yeah.. maybe... Not really... I just enjoy dressing like this.. it mkes me feel comfortable " She said

" I don't understand " Gabby said, dropping his cutlery

" She doesn't feel comfortable in girly clothes and stuffs, so she dresses like this.. it's her normal thing.. and she works out too " Anna explained

" Is there a reason for that? " Gabby asked He asked and Anna raised her brow

" I mean... The reason why she doesn't feel comfortable in girly dress? "

" She has insecurities " Anna said and Jace raised his head

" No I don't have!, Am just not comfortable in ' em " She said

" We both know you don't... "

" That's ok!, Please... Don't say a thing again " She pleaded sternly and Anna kept mute

She breathed out softly and stood up

" I'll be in my room... Please, I don't want anyone to check on me ... I prefer being alone " She said and with that walked away

Jace watched her as she left before dropping his cutlery and stood up

" I'll be in my room " He said, politely and left

Anna sighed and dropped her cutlery

" We should leave now! " Anna said and stood up, and started working towards the door while her guards followed behind

Gabby also stood up and followed behind

Jace was almost walking into his room, then his eyes caught Heedah's room

Their rooms are beside each other

He decide to go check on her

He knocked at her door but no answer came, he knocked again, he held the knob and twisted it open

He saw her sitted on a chair,with a table in Front of her

She looked like she was studying, she had her headphone on so she couldn't hear a thing

Jace closed the door gently as he fully entered, he took some few steps gently to her and he got ther, his eyes widened at the art in front of him

She looked really focused as she painted a drawing, it was a man

And it hit him immediately, Her dad?

He glared at how handsome and young he looked

Just how young his mom was before she died

He was lost staring at him and didn't notice when Heedah stopped and was staring at him like he was some piece of art

He took his gaze away and startled as he saw Heedah's gaze on him

" Um.. sorry, I didn't know you had stopped " He said and looked around, he wheeled a chair to her and he sat down

Heedah raised her brow and he gave that cute smile again

" I just wanna watch " He said and she scoffed

" I thought I made it clear I wanted to be alone " She said as she returned her gaze back to her drawing

" I promise I won't disturb " He said and gave that cute smile

Heedah smiled as she stared at him for a while before turning back to her drawing

" I really wish I could draw.. I've always wanted to draw " He said sadly

" You should learn how to " She said

" Yeah.. will you? " He asked and she scoffed

" No, I don't have the time.. " She said

" It doesn't matter, I could just watch you anytime you wanna draw " He said

" Sorry, but I hate company " She said and he scoffed as he watched her paint her dad's drawing.

" Your dad? "

" Yeah " She replied

" I wish I could draw my mom " He muttered sadly and closed his eyes

She stared at how cute he looked with his eyes closed and she found herself smiling

He opened his eyes, and she looked away immediately

" Why are you smiling? " he asked

" Done " She said, checking out the drawing

" It's Awesome " He said and she smiled

" Your smile is cute " He said and she smiled

" And yours too " She complimented and he chuckled

" You know I don't really talk too much and smile, but ever since you got here I've been doing it lately " He confessed and she smiled

" I have this aura that makes people smile " She said cutely and he smiled again .

" Yeah " He said

She stopped and turned to him swiftly

" So tell me about your school " He said

" Ok.. um, it's school, they're friendly, lively, fun, just that they just won't mind their own business, and there are lots of bullies " He said and she smirked

" I just hope they're not bothersome " She said

" They are.. the best thing is to stay in the library during break,, if you're a loner " He said

" That's what you do? " She asked

" Ofcourse not!, I have friends ,, I just don't like talking too much, buh am cool " He said and she nodded

" So, how many friends you've got?, Any crush? " She asked and he chuckled

" I have three best friends and a girlfriend " He said and she was surprised

" You have a girlfriend? "
