Chapter 2 Dream

Kalya POV.

"Aya! Wake up!!" I faintly heard someone's voice and also a loud tap on my shoulder that picked me up from my subconscious.

"AYA, WAKE UP!!!" The scream that was right in my ear made me jump and straighten my body.

"HAH?!" I blinked my eyes many times while looking around my already quiet surroundings.

"Why are you still here?!" I looked at Gladys, my table mate, who was wearing her hips beside my chair.

"I've already woken you up earlier but didn't wake up!! Are you sleeping or dead, huh?!" Gladys glared at me, which was returned by an innocent grin.

"Hehe... I'm sorry, Dys. It was because Aya had a dream..." I didn't continue my words because I suddenly remembered the dream that instantly made my head hurt.

"Aww..." I winced in pain as I clutched my throbbing head and the dream kept replaying in my head like a broken record.

"Eh, what's wrong, Aya?!" Gladys looked at me worriedly, which I only smiled back at while hissing in pain.

"I-I'm fine, I'm just a little dizzy. At least it's because I've slept too long to be like this." I put on a forced smile while holding back the pain that was still attacking my head.

"Okay, do you want me to take you home?" Gladys supported my body to walk.

"You don't have to, Dys, just take Aya to the car. Maybe Mr. Toni has already picked Aya up earlier." Gladys just nodded in resignation.

When I got to the car, Mr. Toni looked at me worriedly. "Miss Aya why?" Mr. Toni helped Gladys to carry me into the car.

"I'm okay, sir, I'm just dizzy because I slept too long in class, hehe..." Mr. Toni just shook his head because he already knew my bad habits in class.

"Okay, if that is the case."

"Gladys, thank you for taking Aya to the car." I smiled at Gladys, who smiled back at me.

"Yeah, you're welcome, Aya. Be careful." Gladys waved her hand at me.

I got out of the car and ran straight to my house. "AYA IS COMING HOME," I shouted when I entered the house.

I saw the woman I loved the most and always spoiled me was sitting on the sofa stroking her chest. Maybe she surprised this time because of my scream, hehe...

"No need to shout, Aya," he said.

Previously, my name is Kalya Aurellia. And earlier was my mother named Mia.

"Hehe, it's a habit, Mom," I said with a grin. I walked over to my mother and sat next to her while clinging to her arm.

"Huh, restart with this mother's daughter, spoiled," the mother sneered, which I replied with my tongue sticking out.

"Leave it," I replied, still hanging on spoiled.

Then from the other direction came a middle-aged man who I love very much like my mother, namely my father Vandi. He joined us and sat next to me, so I was among them.

"Dad's daughter is 19 years old, but her behavior is still spoiled, aren't you ashamed of your friends?" Dad asked, stroking the top of my head.

"Ishh really can't if Aya is like this with mother, huh?" I asked, pursing my lips. I heard my father sigh and then get up from the sofa into the dining room.

"Aya, let's eat first! Your father is already hungry," said my mother, chuckling, and I laughed too.

We ate together in utter silence. Until finally someone's voice broke the silence. "Aya," dad called.

I immediately turned to him and stopped what I was eating. "Yeah, what's wrong?" I answered a little confused because it's not like dad usually put on a serious face like now.

"I want to tell you something important, okay?"

My gaze turned to mother for approval, and she nodded. "You can just talk," I answered a little awkwardly because for some reason I suddenly felt uneasy.

Father seemed to take a breath for a moment, then began to speak. "Look Aya, mother and father have planned this carefully that you will be paired with the child of father's best friend...."

"Haha, Dad must be joking, right? How could Aya want to be matched?," I said with a fake laugh, even though my heart was sad to hear what my father said.

"I'm not joking, Aya! If you don't believe me, please ask your mother," answered my father firmly.

I turned to my mother, who was looking at me sadly. "Yes, dear, you will be arranged by your father and this is all for your good so that one day you will not regret it, dear."

Crank...

The glass I was holding suddenly fell and shattered without me noticing. My eyes began to heat up, hearing the word 'matched' said by the mother. Mother wanted to come closer to me to calm me down, but I held it back with a movement of my hand.

"No! I don't want to!!!" I refused with a trembling voice.

"It's for your own good, dear!" said dad firmly.

"Anyway Aya DON'T WANT!!!" After saying that, I ran to my room which was on the 2nd floor and locked the bedroom door so that neither mother nor father could enter.

"HEARD DAD FIRST!!" shouted dad from downstairs.

I threw myself on the bed and cried uncontrollably. "NO! I DON'T WANT!!!"I shouted from inside the room.

I covered my ears with a pillow, so I wouldn't hear my dad scream again.

Knock... Knock...

"Aya this is mother, dear, you listen to dad first downstairs." That's the voice of my mother, who, I believe, is now at my door.

"I don't want, Mom," I sobbed.

"I want you to think again, dear. It's for your own good one day."

After saying that, I heard footsteps walking away. I sobbed more while hugging my beloved teddy bear. My head felt dizzy, and my eyes started to get heavy until finally, I was enveloped by drowsiness and fell asleep.

Kalya Off.
