Chapter 3 You Can Run But You Can't Hide

Logan:

I watched her leave the room, with the biggest grin on my face. I have not had that much fun in a conversation with a girl in...well, I have never had that much fun before. Hot as hell, that's what that was. She, is hot as hell. But who is she.

"Ah earth to Logan, are you in there." Sarah's annoying best friend Cassandra waved her hand in front of my face breaking me out of my train of thought, and essentially wrecking my perfect view of the cute, sassy ass leaving out the door.

I scowled her way. "What is it Cass."

"Sarah is looking for you." She smiled my way, trying to pretend she's out to help her best friend when I know full well she's just trying move in on her best friends territory.

"I'm really not interested in doing this thing with Sarah tonight alright, just trying to enjoy myself without her drama for once." She nodded her head but continued to stare at me with hungry eyes. "Is there anything else Cass?" I said shaking my head.

She stood there stunned trying to figure out what to say next because she clearly didn't want to leave thinking she stood a chance with me. "Why in the world were to talking to her?" She nodded her head towards the front door my mystery girl just stormed out of.

"Do you know her?" I asked hopeful.

"Not really, I've seen her around. She has a few classes with me I think." She now had a bored look on her face now that the conversation was clearly not going her way. "I think she's friends with that girl over there, not sure why though, I always see her at these things, I think her name is Jessica. The other one though, never comes out, not even sure why she was here today."

I began to ignore the rambling coming out of Cass's mouth and started instantly moving over to the girl she said was the friend of my new obsession. I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to just continue to mess with her, or I wanted a little something more, but either way, this girl was not leaving my head anytime soon.

The one called Jessica was dramatically telling a story in the centre of a crowd of people who all seemed to be invested in the outcome. Lucky for me, she was just finishing and the crowd was all laughing at the end of her story and I gave her a light tap on her shoulder.

She turned around and instantly had a look of shock. She clearly was not expecting me and immediately began to fidget. This is a normal reaction I get from the ladies, so I just put on my winning smile that always gets me what I want, and she clearly melts.

"Hi, I had heard you were friends with someone I met tonight, but I wasn't able to get her name or number before she ran out of here. Maybe you can help me out with that." I gave her a wink and really hoped she was the right person with the answers.

"Ah, ok." She giggled. "Who is it you could be looking for?"

"Well, she had soft brown hair, beautiful brown eyes, and wearing a cute back miniskirt with a lacy black shirt." I failed to mention how that lacy black shirt showed the most voluptuous breast that I just want to grab hold of, but I figured her friend wouldn't be too keen on giving me her name if I told her every thought that went through my mind about her.

Jessica looked confused at first listening to the description but soon gasped "Oh my god! Your talking about Alicia!"

"I hope so, we had a bit of a run in and I feel like I may have hurt her feelings and would like to apologize and maybe take her out for coffee if she will allow it." Ok I faked a little bit of a good boy attitude with her friend, she seemed like the protective type, and who says I don't want to take her out for coffee, if it leads to another close encounter like earlier. I smiled to myself.

"She absolutely would!"

Ok that was very enthusiastic. "Great could I maybe get her number so we can talk."

Game on Alicia...

Alicia:

I woke up completely refreshed. I stretched my arms out and walked over to my bathroom to take a shower before work. Once finished I put my work uniform on and began straightening out my hair. My hair can be quite fuzzy and always has to be straightened or else its a complete mess.

I went downstairs where the smell of bacon wafted in the air. Mom was in front of the stove while dad was drinking his coffee at the table chewing on his last piece of bacon.

"Hi pumpkin." Dad greeted me as I came in. "Did you sleep well, you didn't really stay long at that party, and here I was thinking I would have to pick up my drunken daughter from some raging party and have to give you the talk the next morning." He gave me the sly grin that always made me smile in return.

"Afraid not dad, you must be disappointed. Don't worry, you always have Keisha to give the don't get drunk at raging parties talk when she gets old enough." Keisha is my five year old sister, she is significantly more wild then I ever was, so I'm thinking my parents will have their hands full. My dad chuckled at our banter and carried on reading his paper.

"What happened honey, I thought you and Jessica were gonna have some fun to celebrate Jessica's big news." My mom asked while putting some eggs on a plate for me.

"Nothing really, it just really isn't my scene, I think Jessica probably had more fun when I wasn't there anyway."

"Oh thats not true honey, she loves you, she will always want you there, you two have been inseparable since you were kids." Mom said squishing my cheek while handing me my breakfast.

"Dang right I love her, and its because I love her that I'm not gonna kill her for ditching me last night!" Jessica narrowed her eyes at me, "this time." She then sat down and began to steal my bacon.

Jessica has been letting herself in my house for years, and has always been considered one of the family. So much so that as soon as she sat down, my mom was putting together the plate she was already pre preparing for Jess knowing that she will inevitably be here having breakfast with us.

"I'm so sorry bestie, will you forgive me." I pouted her way.

"I suppose I can forgive you this time on one condition." She narrowed her eyes, pointing a peace of bacon at me, so I bit it out of her hand.

I giggled and said "whats the condition?"

"You tell me what went on with you and Logan last night at the party." My mouth gapped open shocked that she even knew anything, and now I was wondering how much she knew.

"Nothing went on!" I squeaked, a little too quickly.

"Then why was he asking me who you are looking like a dog in heat." She smirked.

I blushed at the thought but quickly moved those thoughts aside not wanted to get all hot and heavy like last night, not for that guy anyway.

"All that went on last night is he man handled me and used me to hide away from his crazy ex. The guy is a jerk, he probably just enjoyed messing with me." I shrugged.

"Ok if you say so." She responded rolling her eyes and continued to eat.

"Alright I need to get to work, are you walking with me?" I asked Jess.

"Sure, something to do."

"Ok just let me grab my phone."

I ran up the stairs and jogged into my room to retrieve my phone off the charger. I was about to put my phone in my pocket when I noticed there was a message from a random number I didn't recognize.

I opened up my phone and swiped up the message to read it.

What...the hell.

The message was in big bold letters and I knew exactly who it was from...

FOUND YOU... (with a wink face emoji).
