Chapter 3 The notorious playboy

Alex POV

It has been 2 days since he meet his friend for brunch. Ryan sister tag along, pretty girl and Mateo seems hooked. Me? I dont do family and friends. I am playboy yes but I still have my conscience. Mateo is far from me, he is the good dude out of the 3 us musketeer. The nerd is what we use to call him back in college. We have been friend since college, Ryan is older than me and is currently getting a serious relationship with Mia my elder sister. I dont know how he can stand her, she is the jealous type. Someone that I wont choose to be in relationship not like I am into one. I am a realistic person, relationship is a bad business. I can get my fill from my one night stand, fu** them as they want it but never more than once.

Ryan seems busy to help her sister looking for a suitable house and maid for his sister and her bestfriend. But to no luck as of now, I have a mansion right beside my own that is ready to live in but Im not sure if he would want to consider his sister living close to me. Well I dont give a damn but I am super bored, no one to accompany me today and it seems it may take a long time before he decide and I will be doom lonely. Mateo Kings is super busy with his VIP patient, and Ryan sister is bringing him one as well, nice. My secretary Lance at the door brings me back to reality,

" Boss, you have meeting at 2pm today and your schedule is cleared for the day." He said looking at me waiting for my next instruction.

"Sh** Im all alone today, this won't do" I slammed my hand on my table shocked Lance. I quickly take my phone and dialled Ryan.

"Hello Ryan, I found a perfect house for your sister. And yeah with few trained maid, gardener and yeah I can prepare few bodyguard too." I smirk at my wit. Ryan just agreed with my proposal and we are banging some girls tonight, oh not Ryan, but I am. He is my sidekick and Mia definitely will tail after him.

"Okay Lance, you can finish early today, Im going out with Ryan" Lance just nodded "have a good one boss", he knew my style very well. I live for party and he is not for one, he tried once but just not his style.

After my meeting ended I went home preparing for my night out. I have also gotten my trusted maid Anne to prepare the mansion for Ryan's sister as per their needs, I knew she will do a great job at that. Ryan told me they will come the day after tomorrow, well I for one dont care much, as long as I got my sidekick back.

Walking to the club today I found myself at the VIP lounge. I own the club after all, so most girls has been at my tail. Ryan and Mia is there dancing with each other eating other face. Gross, seeing my best friend with my sister is not a view I live for. So I headed to a private room in the club with a cute redhead with me. And you know what happen next. I fu** her hard so hard she cant even walk after few rounds. And I just walk out feeling satisfied. I didnt forget to leave few 10 thousands to the girl for her service. This is just what I need and I love my life.

Clair POV

Today is the day I will move with Brit to country A, She need to handle her new collection and opening of new branches of Johnson Group there. She has managed to convince me to follow her since she will not be able to meet me regularly if I stay here. Lea will be coming with me as my personal nutritionist but aunt will stay to take care of the mansion. I will be missing her a lot, she is a mother figure to me since I have none. I am lying if I said I am not nervous about moving. New environment should be good for me I guess. Yesterday I visited daddy grave and told him all about it. I know if he still here he will flatly reject this idea. But I need to be independent, Brit will not be able to stay with me forever soon she will have someone she love and her own family. I need to do this. My health has been better with Brit around, so we are moving today using Johnson's Group private jet. My first time flying, I basically sleep through the journey as I took sleeping pill to since I dont want to stimulate my heart. I know what you guys are thinking HCM has low risk of sudden heart attack,but mine hereditary, with my family history, my frequent fainting episode, my abnormal blood pressure when doing any form of exercise I am considered high risk patient.

Lea has woke me up since flight has landed, I sleep so well I dont even notice a slight turbulene we face. As I decent the stairs I saw Brit lightly jog toward me. Oh how I miss the girl.

" Well baby girl, how was it? Your first flight! I am super excited" she said hugging me.

"Yes but I sleep like a log. I didnt even notice when we land" Brit was not suprised at all since its her idea to get me sleeping pill.

"Yeah but you survived babe, welcome to country A, we are gonna have so much fun!" She said while laughing. I laugh along but my I totally scrunch my face and Brit knows it, her fun is never fun for me. My kind of fun is binge netflix, cooking and baking and her kind of fun is party, shopping and talk about boys. Yup and talking about boys she has new one in her collection Mateo Kings, they have been texting and flirting. Well as long as she's happy. We board the limo to our new place. Brit said the team, her brother, Mateo and Alex is there. But who is Alex?

Alex POV

I dont really know why I am here, Ryan and Mateo are estatic for Brittany and this lady Clair Johnson. They have talking about it all day and since I am living next door I am asked or forced to come over as well.

Clair Johnson is the only daughter of Johnson group currently the chairman but I never heard of her at all nothing in Forbes or any business magazine, Brittany has been managing the business which is clear since she has been representing the company. I heard a faint sound of car, they have arrived I believe everyone went outside I just linger in the living room not interested to go out. I am still sated, it is Saturday and I need my own time on weekend not waiting for any neighbour who think they are a royalty. What kind of human being needed so many group of people to tend to them. They requested for 10 maids, 5 bodyguard a group of doctors on standby and and a live in nurse. Well of course this person is so weak given she has a heart condition but almost 20 people to tend to a sick girl is my definiton of overboard. I heard beautiful sounds of laugh, well the princess has arrived and as look to the group of people coming in I was blown away at the sight of a girl in a white dress, so simple without a trace of makeup. Her face is so beautiful like I have never seen before. She look a little pale but that smile oh she definitely made the place look brighter with the smile alone. Surely she looks like an angel or she is one. Brittany currently introducing her friend to everyone.

"Well Clair baby this is Alex, Ryan's close friend and our landlord." She called her baby, yes she is my baby. Clair look at me and our eyes met, her green eyes and I am so drown to her eyes.

"Ehemm." Mateo nudge my shoulder since I was just staring at Clair for awhile now.

"Oh sorry yes I am Alex your neighbour." Clair smile sweetly and give me a friendly hug. " Hi Alex, Im Clair sorry for the commotion here. It seems a little extravagant right." She blush a little and thats it. I am a fan and yeah she smells so nice with a hints of floral fragrance and the little me twitch inside.

After the quick introduction, I saw Brittany guide Clair upstair via elevator, its only one floor but she take the elevator for god sake, she gotta be kidding me, such a princess. I frown inside. She may be pretty but I hate pretentious. Mateo seem to be able to read my thought and he come over to me and pat my shoulder.

"Her heart condition is severe, she need to regulate her blood pressure well, she frequently have fainting episode and we dont want any incident where she faint while taking the stairs right?" Well Mateo is right I dont even know the severity of her condition but I was quick to judge. I feel ashamed of myself.

"Well bro I got to go, i think my job here is over right. She's a charm by the way but not my cup of tea." I said winked at my Ryan and Mateo.

"She can be if you start to know her" Ryan retorts.

Nope she wont. I am busy and she seems like a lot of responsibility. I am for one not in for any kind of relationship.
