Chapter 10 I'M DEAD

Paula's POV

My head hurts so bad as soon as I woke up the next morning. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a white ceiling. A white ceiling? When did my sky-blue room turn into white? And why do I feel cold? Why do my thighs feel numb?

I sat up on the bed then I opened my eyes fully only for to realize that I was not wearing anything. My eyes automatically widened upon seeing myself fully naked. I immediately covered myself with the blanket but I was more surprised when I knew that there was someone lying beside me. The moment that I saw a man sleeping peacefully with no clothes on too, I screamed at the top of my lungs while looking at him. "Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"

The man freaked out and was awakened by my voice. "W-What what's the problem?!!" he asked worriedly while standing in front of me. My eyes got even wider when I saw his most precious thing between his thighs. I quickly covered my face with the blanket while I was still screaming.

"H-Hey, why are you creaming there? S-Stop it please! I'm not a bad person, okay? Let me explain first!" the man said.

"P-Please put your clothes on first!" I screamed.

"O-Okay, I'll put my clothes on now please don't scream."

I stopped screaming without removing the blanket from my face. I just heard him heaved a sigh as soon as he was done changing. "It's alright now, you can look at me."

Slowly, I removed the blanket from my face but covered my body more. I was still not wearing anything so I had to cover my body with pillows, too. "W-Who are you? W-What did you do to me?!"

"Excuse me? Don't you remember anything that happened last night?" the man asked me sarcastically.

I tried to recall what happened last night in my head but nothing really pops into my mind except what I saw a while ago. The thought of that made my cheeks feel hot. "I-I remember nothing!"

"Okay so let me just explain things to you. I was in a bar just across from this hotel last night, I saw you dancing on the dance floor as if seducing me, and aside from that... I thought you're my wife... W-We kissed, then I asked you if we can go to a hotel and you said yes then we-

"S-Stop right there! Did you just say that I tried seducing you?"

He nodded. "You did. You were so wild."

"And you have a wife, right? What is a married man doing inside a bar?!" my blood boiled in anger knowing that the man I had sex with already has a wife. "If you're in the right mind, even if I really seduced you, you should've stopped me."

"My wife is missing. And I got drunk because I wanted to erase her memories that keep me on going crazy. I have no intention to have a one-night stand with anyone because I'm already married, I just wanted to be entertained and get drunk. But then I suddenly saw you and I thought you are my wife..." he replied, almost mumbled. He looked so sincere about what he just said.

I just lost my virginity to a stranger. What did I just do?

Tears started to fill my eyes and so I covered my face with my hands while crying. "No...no..."

"L-Look, uh, Miss... I'm so sorry... I truly apologize for what happened between us. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to take a hold of my feelings. I'm truly sorry..."

"Paula, is there a problem? By the way, is something happened last night? I was surprised when I didn't see you beside me anymore and I even thought that you already went home without me so I just decided to go home too." Cindy said to me while we were at the cafeteria.

Tears started to run down my face while I was looking at her. "Cindy..."

"W-Why are you crying, Paula? Has something happened? Paula..."

"Cindy..."

I just cried and cried until I could finally breathe properly and told Cindy everything that happened last night. "What?! Y-You had a one-night stand with a stranger?! Oh my God!"

"C-Cindy... someone might hear you..."

Cindy covered his mouth. "I'm sorry... But is that really true?"

"Yes..."

"Oh my God, I can't really believe it..."

"Me too... I-I can't believe I already lost my virginity to a stranger..."

Cindy held my hand. "It was my fault, Paula... I'm so sorry... I shouldn't bring you to that bar..."

"No Cindy, that's not your fault... I shouldn't let myself get drunk... I shouldn't let myself be drowned by my own feelings..."

"Oh, Paula..."

Cindy just let me cry on her shoulders until I finally feel okay. "S-So what did the man tell you? Did he say sorry? Did he just ignore you ?"

"He apologized, he even said that he just wasn't able to hold his feelings because I looked exactly like his wife."

"His wife?! He already has a wife?!"

I nodded. "But he said that his wife is missing."

"I-Is that so?".

"Yes..."

"Paula... I'm truly sorry for asking this b-but did you guys do it with protection?"

My face blushed. "I don't actually remember what exactly happened but he said that he did use protection a-and it was a safe day so..."

"Ah, I'm so glad to hear that. At least there won't be any problem."

"Cindy, what should I do now?"

"Huh?"

"Should I tell that to grandma?

Her eyes widened. "What?! Of course not, Paula. She will definitely get mad if she ever finds out that you got drunk and had a one-night stand with a stranger. I mean, she doesn't have to know about that. Besides, we can no longer do anything about it anyway so let's just move on."

"Y-You're right..." I said as I took a deep breath.

I'm super dead if grandma ever finds out that her beloved granddaughter just had sex with a stranger.
