EPISODE FIVE

My Memories are back now! I had a vision when I was 10 years old. I saw a group of people in a laboratory (scientists like my dad), a little boy was locked up in a glassy box. He screamed when they connected a switch and some fluid filled the box. I tried to make sense of the scene but I couldn't because the little boy's screams filled my ears. He begged to be released but no one made an attempt to rescue him. I touched a scientist to move closer to the boy but he didn't respond. I panicked when my gaze fell on the box again. The boy's eyes glowed crimson, looking dangerous and he was bigger in size. Oh My God! How did it happened?! He had suddenly grown into a man of about 25years old. He growled and the Scientists panicked. He struggled in the box violently. He made a sound like that of a wolf and other animalistic sounds erupted from his chest. "Calm him Down!" A man barked. A Female scientist rushed to a different switch again and another blue fluid flooded into the box and he shook violently before falling on his knees. "I think he's in pain" A male scientist said when the boy groaned, his crimson eyes fading slowly. "No, he's fine" A man said with a bright smile. "No, he's not fine!" I screamed. But no one turned to face me. Oh! They can't see me! I realized it. But how did I get there? I looked back at the box. The boy sat in it but then I sensed his pain. And slowly I moved closer to him. I was scared but I felt like I should comfort the little boy. I crouched down in front of the box and placed my hands on it. "A..Are..you okay?" I asked though I knew he was not okay. He curled up, his knees up and arms hugging his knees. He was crying. A big Man was crying?! I was confused and shocked..and scared! But something kept pushing me closer to him. "I mean no harm, can you hear me?" I asked again, knowing that the Scientists can't hear me. "Je sais que tu souffres?" I spoke to him. (I know you are in pain) He looked up at me and our gaze locked. "Wer bist du?" He asked in German. (Who are you?) But I gasped out at the sound of voice. "Who are you?" He repeated in a childish tone. And my eyes widened. What did they do to him?! Suddenly realization hit me, a little boy has been trapped in a 25 years old body! Black Magic! He was a little boy, his voice was still like that of boy but his appearance was different. "I'm Lumière." I managed to say out of my dazed state. I watched him do the wide eye and then he moved and crawl closer. "LUMIÈRE?" A small pained smile broke on his lips as he placed his hands on the glass directly on mine. "Je vous connais." He said (I know you) "J'ai entendu parle de toi," he said excitedly now. (I heard about you!) And my eyebrows rose in surprise. I wondered how he knew me. "How -" he interrupted me. "You are the light, Lumière." "Je Suis heureux de vous voir." he added (I'm happy to see you!) What? He's happy to see me?! "Beeindruckend! Wir hatten Erfolg!" The Scientists said Loudly in German (Wow! We succeeded!) I turned my head to look at them, the scientists looked happy as they hugged each other. And soon, they started sharing drinks to celebrate their success. Success?! No it was not a success! But wickedness! They just destroyed a little boy! A groan reveberated in the air and then I faced him. He was looking sad again. "They destroyed me Lumière," he curled up again, moving far from me. "Hey what did they do to you?" I asked but he buried his face in his palms. "They recreated me into Ange Noir" He said soberly. "Ange Noir? Who is Ange Noir?" I asked "Lumière! Lumière!" I heard someone screaming my name in a far distance. And like a flash, the boy growled, but this time the sound was hard, his eyes glowed crimson again. He stood up and clenched his fists. I trembled in fear as I moved away from him. He looked dangerous! A tiny voice mind linked me. "Lumière, please save me." "Ange Noir is back!" The man roared. I moved far away from him. He tried to get out of the box. And again there was commotion in the Laboratory. "Lock him up!" A man snarled. I looked at the man barking out orders to the team. There was a striking resemblance between him and the boy I had seen earlier. He roared again almost knocking the Box off but a chain dropped on it and held it back in place. "Fill the box and lock him up!" The man said again. "Lumière! Lumière! Save me." I placed my palms on my ears as the tiny voice screamed in my head. A tiny voice begged me. I knew it was the little boy talking in my mind but I was powerless. There was nothing I could do to save him. The box was lifted off the ground by strong chains as red fluid filled it. Ange Noir tried swimming in it but the fluid filled it to the brim. He held his throat trying to catch his breathe but he drowned in it. The box was moved into a big cage hanging in the air. And I marveled at the technologies in the Laboratory. Ange Noir stopped fighting, his hands dropped to his side and his eyes closed up and body floated in the fluid. I heard sighs of relief in the room. And it ended. "Wake up Lumière," I felt someone shaking me up. And I opened my eyes. "Mom, Dad" I whispered. "Oh my goodness! I was so scared!" My dad ran his hands over his face, looking worried. I was in the dreamland, transported to the Villain World. I sobbed in his chest as I told them everything that happened in the laboratory. My dad told the Heroes and everyone knew The SVS were up to something again. My mom corrected and said SVS created another Ange Noir. The SHS sent an emergency message to the SF and they set a plan on how to destroy Ange Noir. Unfortunately something happened. An unexpected event took place in our world while my dad and other Scientists were trying to build up element to destroy Ange Noir. Long story short...Ange Noir appeared in the laboratory, no one was strong enough to stop him. He destroyed the Elements they had worked on for weeks. They were almost at the point of creating the reverse portion to weaken Ange Noir but he crushed everything. And while The Hero World was upside down! I heard a voice in my mind again. "Lumière, Please Save Me." I felt drawn to him when I heard his voice. Slowly, I began to walk towards the direction of the laboratory. "Lumière, we gatta go!" My best friend Fleur called at me. "I have to save Ange Noir." I whispered Everyone rushed to escape from Ange Noir. "Je Vais vous détruire tous!" Ange Noir screamed (I'll destroy you all!) "Peux-tu entendre que Lumière?!" Fleur shouted. (Can you hear that Lumière?!) "He wants to destroy us!" She added "Save me Lumière." the tiny voice pleaded in my mind. My friend grabbed my hand but I jerked free. "I'll save him!" Then I ran as fast as my legs could take me. I had no idea of how I was going to save him because I was a beginner witch. I was still learning how to use my spells and powers. I heard screams erupting from the laboratory. Suddenly a figure ran out of the laboratory and bumped into me causing me to hit the ground hard. "Damn it! Lumière why are you out here?!" My dad's voice filled my ear, as he lifted me up in his arms. He had a deep cut on his right cheek. "We have to save Ange Noir daddy." I said. "No, he's a demon. No one can stand against him!" He ran as he explained Ange Noir's ability. "He's a little boy daddy." I countered "He's a Monster!" He snarled "No, that's not him!" I struggled in his arms. "You always say that we should save and help people in trouble." I said in a sad tone. He dropped me and crouched down to my size. We were alone in the Hallway. "Save him daddy. There's a little boy in Ange Noir." "Mon amour, je ne peux pas le sauver. Il a tout dètruit!" My dad said loudly. (My love, I can't save him. He destroyed everything!) He tried to convince me to give up on saving Ange Noir. "But I can -" I mumbled "You are weak Lumière. You're still learning to use your powers." I shook my head in disagreement. "Listen to me, we'll save that boy once we have our world back, but for now let's save ourselves." he hugged me.
