Chapter 5 Nice to meet you, Ari

Blaire was on her way to school in the morning when she bumped into Mrs. Garcia.

Mrs. Garcia looked problematic when she approached Blaire.

Blaire looked at Mrs. Garcia worriedly." Mrs. Garcia, what's wrong?"

"Blaire, I know you don't also have money right now but I'm really in need. I'm sorry but I need to get your rent payment today. My husband is in the hospital right now and they need me to pay the hospital deposit before operating my husband." Mrs. Garcia explained broken heartedly.

Blaire's heart tightened. She don't know what to do. She doesn't have enough money to pay the rent and she's also experiencing financial problem.

If she decided to give her remainder money to Mrs. Garcia then nothing will be left to her. Blaire thought again and Daniel suddenly appeared in her mind.

That's right! Maybe I can talk to Daniel and ask him if I can possibly get my first session salary.

Blaire sighed and looked at Mrs. Garcia. "How about this I'll call my friend and I'll pay you."

"I'm really sorry, Blaire." Mrs. Garcia said. She knows that both of them are in need of money. She didn't only asked Blaire for payment but everyone in her apartment that haven't paid yet.

"There's no need to say sorry, Mrs. Garcia. I know you need it too." Blaire said and she called Daniel's number.

She sighed in relief when Daniel agreed to give her first session payment. When she received the money, she immediately give it to Mrs. Garcia. She wished Mrs. Garcia's husband a successful operation.

Amari and Daniel went back to their university after coming from the hospital. Blaire on the other hand needs to go to the bookstore to buy something.

Before Blaire could enter the book store, she saw a luxury and exquisite car. She glance at it and told to herself that she will work hard so that she will also have a car like that.

She entered the bookstore and noticed that only a few people was inside. She went to find the book that she was interested in.

Dylan was also in the bookstore and he was there to buy books and school supplies for Darren. He was busy picking up supplies when he noticed the lady in the front of him. He thought that she was a bit familiar and he remembered that she's the lady he saw in the university. She's the beautiful lady he saw that time.

Dylan suddenly tensed up when Blaire tried talked to him. "Excuse me, can you please get me that book on your side. The red one."

He looked at the book and saw the title "Lessons in Life". He picked it up and gently give it to her. "Here."

Blaire smiled at him. "Thank you." When she noticed that everything in Dylan's shopping cart were things for children, she asked. "Buying for your son?"

Dylan cleared his throat and his expressions turned ugly. Do I look like a man with a child?

"No, it's for my brother." He tried his best not to sound cold. Blaire just smiled and nodded to him before leaving him there standing.

"Wait!" Dylan shouted her, pertaining to Blaire.

Blaire stopped and turned around to look at the man who just shouted. She raised his brows asking why.

Dylan walk towards her. "What's your name?"

"Huh? My name? Why?" Blaire asked confusedly.

Dylan smiled. "I just wanna know..."

Blaire furrowed his brows and decided to answer. "My name is Ari."

Blaire doesn't know this man so she decided to say her nickname whom no one has ever known except her parents.

"Nice to meet you, Ari." Dylan said and reached Blaire's hand. Blaire was caught off guard so she just shook his hand and smiled awkwardly. She felt something in her heart the moment he touched her hand.

Blaire took a good glance at the man and that's the only time she noticed that the man is quite handsome and his facial features are almost unrealistic because of it's perfect shapes.

Blaire shook off her thoughts and immediately left the book store after her encounter with that handsome man.
