Chapter 2 One last glance

The next day, Blaire woke up early to prepare to go to school.

After she's done doing the things she needed to do, she sat down for minutes in her bed to look in the internet if ever someone had posted notice of hiring.

But to her disappointment there's none.

When she arrived at their university, she immediately saw Amari sitting at the corner of their school garden. Amari was busy reading something so she didn't noticed that Blaire is approaching.

"What are you reading?" Asked Blaire when she's already beside Amari.

Amari put down her phone and looked at Blaire. "Oh, you're here. I was just reading some school forums."

Blaire nodded and sighed helplessly. She couldn't help but to worry for herself. What would happen to me if I couldn't find any job this week? Maybe I should prepare myself to sleep in the street on the following days.

Why isn't even hard to find work this days?

If not because of her scholarship, she won't even be able to study. Thanks to her high intelligence.

Amari looked at her friend who has a problematic look. "Blaire, give it a break. You'll really be stress if you keep on thinking about it. I trust you, you'll get through it. You have me and Daniel."

Blaire smiled and hugged Amira tightly. Amari just laugh and trying to push Blaire away.

"Hey! hey! Get away from me! Do you want me to die?" Amira shouted and both of them just laugh at each other.

"Speaking of which? Where's Daniel?" Blaire asked.

After Blaire asked that, both of them looked at the man who's approaching them.

"What's up?" Daniel said as he sit with the two woman.

"Nothing much, just usual." Amira answered.

The group of three chatted for a while before going to their own class.

Blaire's course is Business Administration while the other two is Architectural. The three of them first met when they were still a freshmen. They became bestfriends because they introvert causing them to vibes to each other.

While Amira and Daniel are on the way to their class, Amira noticed that Daniel was a bit dejected.

Amari furrowed her brows and asked. "What's wrong? Do you have a problem too?"

"Actually yes, I have. My brother threatened me to cut all of my allowance if my grades won't improve. You know, I'm not as intelligent as you guys are. Sooner or later, I might kiss my allowance goodbye."

Daniel looked at Amari when he heard her laugh. Has this woman gone mad?

"That's your only problem? That's easy, why don't you try to study hard or get a tutor." Amari said and smiled.

That's it!

"Tutor?" Daniel asked confusedly.

Amari smiled. Now she found a way to help Blaire!

"That's right! Why don't you asked Blaire to be your tutor? It's a win-win situation, you can help her gain money and she can help you improve your grades. What do you think?"

Daniel thought that it was really a nice offer. This way both of them will be benefitted.

"Alright, I'll discuss this matter with my brother. I just hope he will agree that way I'll be able to help Blaire." Amari nodded.

While everyone was on their respective class, the director of their university suddenly went their to visit.

"Good morning, Sir Adizer. We didn't expect your sudden visit." The Head Master greeted Dylan.

"Yes, I am here to observe the school and to check my brother. I'll just go around the school, no need to bother me." Dylan said coldly and left them.

Dylan's tour when smoothly and he's satisfied on everything that he has seen. The university has improved big time, it's more beautiful and comfortable.

Dylan stopped on his tracks when he saw a lady who's reciting her answer. His eyes was locked on her as if she's the only one he can see. He came back to reality when his assistant called him and told him that he needs to go back to their company.

Dylan took a one last glance at the lady before he decided to leave.
