Chapter 4 Sisters love

she reluctantly got up from the bed and strolled into the bathroom and after finishing up, Ivanna left for the store

She sat down behind the counter and attends to customers with a weary face.

"Urgh!! God seems to be punishing me, seeing today doesn't want to come to an end" Ivanna grumbles yet again laying her head, tiredly on the counter.

After a long day at the store, she runs home in hopes of getting rest and while going home, she was ambushed by a man who tried to snatch her purse, threatening her with a pocket knife.

Ivanna feared for her life, as she tries to calm the thief down, but was adamant, not to make a mistake.

" Give me your purse" the thief glamoured, holding a knife at Ivanna, who moves back to avoid getting hurt.

When suddenly, Derick came to her rescue, hurling the thief away

" Are you okay?" he said, peeking anxiously.

I am fine, thanks to you", Ivanna replied with a hug.

"What you doing here, at this time, you do know it's late?" she asked gazing at him.

" Nothing much Just wanted to take a stroll around town" he replied to her.

"Which am glad you did" Ivanna replied crossing her arm over his, while they walk.

" I didn't get your name, the last time I came to the store," Darick said.

" Oh yes, my name is Ivanna Torres" she replied to him.

"Wow, a beautiful name for a beautiful lady" he mumbled, thus it turned her face red, as he also tells her his name, which of cause she already knows about it.

"Pleasure meeting you" she altered, pulling her hand for a shake, as they continued walking.

Darrick decided to walk her home in fear of her safety, after a long stroll he brings her back in safe hands.

Home sweet home princess" he said glaring at her with a smirk on his face.

Thank you" she replied, waving to him as she walks inside the house.

The second her feet step in, Ivanna closed the door behind and rested on it, she reminisced her walk with Darrick, In Ivanna's head she thought it was a sign from God, that she would be with Darrick, that's why almighty sent him to her rescue.

Maybe it was just a coincidence, Darrick happened to be there, Ivanna didn't think of that possible Option.

After dinner she goes off to her room, as she sits on the couch, smiling non-stop.

"How do I make Darrick notice me" Ivanna mumbled thinking of a way to entice him, slowly stroking her chin.

"Hmm, this one your thinking hope all is okay" Juliana altered behind her, holding a box of pizza with her.

"It's nothing, Ivanna said giggling, as she stands up from the couch, to where her sister was standing.

"You bought pizza" she smiled and dragged it from her sister's hands.

"Hey, wait for me", Juliana said, as they both devour a whole pizza in a split second.

Hrrnnggh" they grinned, resting on the bed, and their gaze pinned at the ceiling.

"How was the store today," Juliana asked her sister, laying next to her.

" It was fine, but I nearly got mugged on my way back home," she confessed, to her sister who strutted up from the bed, with a stunned expression on her face.

" So what happened, I hope he didn't touch you" Juliana altered asking questions.

"Am fine", she chuckled hauling her sister back down.

" I was saved by my night in shining armor", Ivanna said, resting her head on her arm, as she recalls the short stroll they had together.

"Who, "Julianna asked, pushing for a response.

"The guy I told you about that came to the store, the last time, did you forget?" She asked

"No, I didn't but isn't that romantic, awww!!" Juliana altered, glaring at her sister.

" I know right" Ivanna muttered and pins a huge smile on her face.

" Am in love" she yelled, raising her hands in excitement.

" Shhhh, you'll draw mom and dad's attention", Juliana let out, running her hand to her sister's mouth.

"Hmmm", Ivanna strived speaking but Juliana forgot her hand was on her mouth.

"Oops sorry" she instantly withdrawing her hand, when Ivanna inquired about her sister's client crush.

Hahaha, he fine, but haven't been to the office since then" she mumbled

"Ohh, okay," Ivanna said, picturing both sisters having a double wedding.

"What's up" Juliana let out after noting the devious look on her sister's face.

"How do you feel, if we had a double wedding," Ivanna declared, glaring at her.

"Oh my gosh, that would be great, " Juliana said, getting up from the bed, as she imagines all the rituals that would take place at the wedding, with Ivanna heeding to all.

"I love you sister" she mumbled out, with a warm smile on herself.

"I love you too sis" Ivanna replied to her, aiming for a hug.

"Promise me, nothing will ever separate us", she lets out while hugging her sister.

"I promise, we will never be worlds apart" she replied to her, and that sealed everything with a loving hug.

(Mr. Torres walks into the room)

" isn't that sweet" their dad muttered, standing behind them.

"Dad" they both called out and dashed out to meet him.

"Am happy, my girls are two sides of the same coin" Mr. Torres let out, hence placed his hand over their head.

"We sure are dad, we sure are" she answers back In an assured tone glancing at her sister.

"Hey, is there any space left for mom," Mrs. Torres announced.

Yes, honey" Mr. Torres replied, as she walked and joined the family hug.

"I love you" Ivanna whispered once again, pulling her hand to her sister, they both locked hands together.

Both sisters made a promise to never get separated, but will they be able to recall the promise made to each other, or will they go head to head against one another, in an attempt to win over the man they allegedly love??.
