Chapter 3 I call dibs!!!

Derick waves his hand when he noticed how lost she was staring constantly at him, it instantly snapped her back to reality.

"Yes, Yes" she mumbled covering the fact that she didn't get a word he said, and without thinking assured him all would be done, as per instructed.

Thank you" darrick said and walked out of the office with Juliana's eyes glued on him.

That subsequent day, Juliana went home early, intending to tell her sister, what happened.

"Good evening Mom and dad"

Juliana said hurrying to her sister's room.

"Ivanna, Ivanna" she yelled her name, rushing into her room, ivanna who turns in shocked and wondered if she was being followed by an evil spirit.

Without saying much, juliana held her sister, as both jumped, Ivanna had no idea why? But she went with the flow hoping with her.

What's going on"

Ivanna inquired, the secret behind her sister's cheerful behavior when Juliana told her about the client that came to her office today.

She mumbled all that happened, twirling around. Ivanna laughed, seeing her sister, getting attracted to someone. Indeed change is constant".

Ivanna congratulated her sister for finally having someone she likes and encouraged her to go after him, if she truly likes him, whereas she would also go for the guy of his dream.

Ivanna and Juliana had no idea that they talked and fantasize about the same guy, with both sisters eyeing the same man, all hell will surely break loose.

The following morning, being weekend, Ivanna laid on the bed tired, and to her she worked hard during the past weeks, so it was her day to rest, playing " lazy song by Bruno Mars", on her mp3.

Juliana got into the room, informing her it was time for breakfast, as she reluctantly gets up, going downstairs with her pajamas still on.

Thus after dinner, she went on to her room, laid- back down, when her phone rang, it was her friend" Dani Lean" notifying her to the club later in the evening.

Ivanna assured her friend, she would be there, dropping the call from her ears, she sleeps off, just to wake up the exact time needed to go to the club.

She got all dressed, holding her shoes in her hand when it donned on her that going through the front door will alert mom and dad, so she passed through her room window like a thief, trying not to make a sound.

she (Ivanna) runs off, far from home, and when she saw it was safe, she stopped by a tree, striving to grab her breath, and after a while ambled off to the party.

The minute she got to the club, her eyes immediately sighted her friend sitting at a lounge with a couple of guys.

Ivanna" she called out to her, thus stands up to meet her friend, as she drags Ivanna away from there.

" Pheww, I thought you wouldn't"

" come" she mumbled thanking Ivanna for the helping hands with the guys at the lounge.

"They looked cute," Ivanna said, teasing her friend, as they walked towards the bar section.

Hello, can I get a vodka to please" Ivanna mumbled glancing over the bartender, and Dani asked for the same thing?

Here you go" the bartender altered, serving them with a warm smile.

Damn, you cute" Dani says chuckling at him.

"I call dibs" she let out, notifying Ivanna, she has eyes on him, thus Ivanna paid no attention to her.

Before Ivanna met Darick, she would flirt with any guy that passes her way, not because she likes them, but because she felt like doing so. It was a lifestyle she didn't want to give up, which of cause she would use on Derick.

Hmm, that unlike you"

Dani altered, feeling there was something behind her friends' sudden change of behavior, Ivanna kept smiling non-stop.

Spill" she yelled, thus Ivanna tells her everything looking so puffed up.

"Oh my God"

Dani altred stroking her head, she never believed her friend would ever fall in love with anyone, hence it came as a surprise to her.

When suddenly the DJ changed the music playing, immediately it puts Ivanna in the mood to dance

"Let's dance!!" She dragged her friend to the dance floor as they both danced till their heart content, gradually getting intoxicated from the excessive amount of drinking.

The following morning, Ivanna woke up, constantly massaging her head, striving to calm down the splitting headache she had.

Argh!! My head" she altered, seeing herself at her friend's house, (Dani) with her clothes on.

Good morning"

Dani said, giving Ivanna a cup of coffee she prepared.

"I feel like my head Is about to explode" she whines, still sitting on the bed.

Hahahaha" Dani laughed, sitting next to her, with a smile on her face.

"Argh, what's the time", she asked

"it's passed eight" Dani replied, hurling her up.

"Holy shit, am in Trouble", Ivanna shouted, got up from the bed and rushed out of the house, with her shoes on her hands.

Hours later

Where are you coming from" Mrs. Torres asked her, while she tried sneaking back into the house.

" erm, erm", she mumbled trying to figure out what to say, it spotted an angry look on her mom's face.

"Tell me, where you coming from" her mom yelled at her but before she could respond her twin sister swops in to save the day.

She went to visit a friend at the hospital" Juliana altered, standing at the entrance of the door.

" Yeah, yeah, exactly" Ivanna quickly replied to her mom affirming her sister's words.

Mrs. Torres gave her a stern look, inquiring if Dani was the supposed patient, thus she(Ivanna) had no choice but to agree with her she was the one before Mrs. Torres left.

Phew", that was close," Ivanna says plooping down on the bed. "Thank you, sister!!" She says.

"Aren't you going to the store?" Julianna asked her when she caught a glimpse of her sister fast asleep.

You're too much, but I love you!" she asserted out covering her up with a blanket, before leaving.

Ivanna was still fast asleep, forgetting that she had to go to the store, when her mom, hurled her up the bed.

Argh, leave me alone mom!!" she grumbled, requesting to sleep more but knowing her mom she wants ready to oblige her request.

Ivanna had no other choice but to obey her mom, and gets up from the bed with a frowning face.

"Lighten up your face and get to the store, don't be lazy okay!!" Mrs. Torres altered, playfully shoving her face to the side before leaving.
