Chapter 5 You need to tell him

Chapter 4

Kaydee's pov

No one knows about my secret which I am thankful for otherwise Lexie would have blabbed it all over the school. I'm glad I have the weekend to recover from all that drama, but that meant I was stuck in a house with the one man I never wanted to see again. He broke my heart worse than he could ever know.

We should be together right now raising our baby, but instead I am all alone and only get to see my baby on the weekends. No one can find out about her, so my aunt is raising her until I graduate then I am taking my daughter and leaving this town and never looking back.

At least I have something to remember him by. I have the best of him. I looked over at the clock and hurried to get ready so I could go see my little girl she's the only thing that can brighten my day. I jumped down the stairs and was going to get some juice before I left big mistake since I ran into him.

"Hey glad to see you're in a much better mood than you were. Where are you going off to so cheerful?"

"Not that it's any of your business but I'm going to see my aunt."

"No way I am so coming with you I haven't seen her in forever."

"Um no I am going alone."

There is no way I was going to let him follow me and see our daughter no way in hell.

"Oh, come on I k now you hate me but please I haven't seen Gi Gi in forever."

"Fine but I must tell you she has um adopted a child a little girl she's like 4 I think so let me call her and tell her were coming over."

I hurried to call my aunt Gina and explain to her what was going on and to please just play along. She assured me that she would because she knew it was my secret to tell and only Gina knew who the father was my mom didn't even know that. She thought it was just some boy from school. I loved my aunt Gina I could tell her anything and she would keep my secrets.

"Ok so she knows were coming so let's go."

We got in the car and drove over to her house I was so nervous because I knew Chase would play with my daughter not knowing she was mine and his. And Kaley always called me mama how was I going to explain that?

I didn't know what I was going to do but I knew I had to think fast because we were here. We got out of the car and instantly Kaley came running out and wrapped her little arms around my legs. I picked her up and gave her a kiss on the check as she giggled.

"Well, who do we have here?"

"I'm Kaley who are you?"

"I'm Chase it's nice to meet you Kaley."

Kaley looked and him and smiled then looked back at me and kept giving me kisses and told me how much she missed me. I felt so guilty that I wasn't with her more. She needed to be with me all the time but now that Chase was back it just wasn't going to be possible damn this man screwed up everything. Gina came out on the porch and told us all to come in.

"Hey Chase, it's so nice to see you again. How you been?"

"I've been ok a lot better now that I'm back home. How you been Gi Gi? Your little girl is so beautiful I can't get over how much she looks like Sugar at that age."

I almost chocked and looked at him. Kaley chose that moment to go get her dolly and bring it to me.

"Mama do you like my new dolly Gi Gi got me?"

Chase looked at me and then at Gina with a puzzled look.

"Um did she just call you mama?"

Before I could speak up Gina did it for me.

"Yea she always has, and she calls me Gi Gi we don't know why other than Kaydee spends a lot of time with her I was in the hospital fighting cancer for the first year of her life and Kaydee here took over as little mama, so she calls her mama."

"Oh, ok I'm sorry to hear that are you better now?"

"Yes, thank you I am."

We set there for hours playing with Kaley I almost cried seeing how good Chase was with her. Gina pulled me aside and told me she felt I should tell him since he had a right to know, and she didn't like lying to everyone. I told her I know I did but I had to make sure he wouldn't just walk out on her like he did me, and I wasn't ready to trust him with my secret just yet.

Soon though I had to tell him because of that one night we now are bonded together for life. How would he react to the news? I needed time to figure this all out. Soon I would graduate and me and Kaley would be gone. I just don't know if I could keep my secret for that long.
