Chapter 4

Serenity's pov

Serenity awoke to a very familiar sent burning her nostrils. It took her a minute to recognize it. Then she growled she knew that sent all too well this was the scent of the monster that killed her brother that ripped her heart out of her chest. She looked over to Sam who was in a deep sleep and decided to go after this man alone. She couldn't stand to lose him he was all she had left.

She quickly went to the forest and turned into her beautiful white wolf. She followed the sent deep in to the woods until she came up on a beautiful log cabin home. She knew he was in there she could smell him now should she go in alone or come back with reinforcements.

She let her anger take over and quickly changed in to her human form before breaking down the door. There before her stood the sexiest man she has ever seen. Who is this man could he be the black wolf that killed her brother, and if he is why does she feel this instant pull to him?

"Hello Serenity I have been waiting for you."

"Who are you and how in the fuck do you know my name?"

"I am Xavier how I know you is I have been waiting for you, and I have learned a lot about you."

"Your him you're the black wolf that murdered my brother for no reason?"

"I assure you my love there was most defiantly a reason one you may not like to hear."

"You are going to die!!!"

"I wouldn't do that if I were you for if I die you will die as well."

"Is that a threat?"

"Never would I harm you, you're my mate."

Serenity was in shock to see this murderer again after all these years, but here he was claiming that he was her mate. It couldn't be no one could be that cruel to mate her to a murderer to her worst nightmare. The man that took the only family she had left. Serenity looked at him eyes wide and screamed.

"Don't touch me there is no way in hell you are anything to me but the enemy!"

Then she swore she saw something in his eyes a sadness, but before she could be sure he looked away. Why would he look sad he should have known she was only here to kill him? Why was she feeling this pull to him? She had to get away from this man she needed to think.

"There is no way this can't be you got lucky this time but watch your back I will be back and next time I won't leave until your dead."

"I assure you Serenity this is real, and once you learn the truth you will be back, but it won't be to kill me it'll be to accept me as your mate."

"Never! You killed my brother I will never accept any of this."

"That monster was not your brother he was an imposter only pretending to be your brother his father kidnapped your real brother and no one has seen him since. I did you a favor, but don't worry the man you claim is your brother is far from dead."

"You're a liar."

But as she said that she looked deep in his eyes and swear she could see truth how could this be true? No he was messing with her mind, and to say her Seth was still alive she seen him die she spread his ashes in the woods. No way was this the truth. She looked up again only to look in the greenest eyes she has ever seen. Why was she in his arms why wasn't she running? This man was the enemy yet all she wanted him to do was kiss her and take her in his bed and make love to her with a passion she has never known.

"Let me go I will never ever accept you."

With that he let go of her and walked away. He looked so sad she wanted to run up to him and say she was sorry and to kiss that irresistible mouth. Oh my god what was she thinking? He was the enemy. The monster she had trained to kill.

She quickly turned into her wolf form and ran to the hotel she needed to talk to Sam maybe he could help her to understand what was going on. She needed answers and she needed them quick before she lost herself and her heart to the man she came here to kill.
