Chapter 4 Announcements

Joey blushed as Jared lifted his eyebrow and laughed, "Joey has been crushing on my sister since he met her when we were in college." Joey shrugged his shoulder, "I have not." I laughed, "I think you have. You are bright red." Joey looked at me then stuck his tongue at me as Jared chuckled, "She's still single, Man." Joey smiled when groan, "I know." Jared and I laughed as there was a knock on the door.

Joey disappeared to open the door then returned with Bella and another tall woman that looked like a younger Bella, "Good morning, everyone." Bella gave Jared a hug then gave me one, "Sabrina, I want you to meet your future sister-in-law, Heather." Heather walked over and smiled as she gave me a hug, "Welcome to the family."

Jared chuckled, "Let's not suffocate her." Heather laughed as she let me go, "I had to make sure she was real." I chuckled as Jared rolled his eyes, "What are the three going to be up to for today?"

Bella smiled, "Well we are going shopping for Sabrina and the baby then lunch at the hotel restaurant." Jared groaned as Joey looked up at him, "Mom, with Jessica around, I don't think that is a good idea." Heather snorted, "If she knows what is good for her then she will leave Sabrina alone. No one messes with my family."

Jared laughed, "Slow down killer, I will meet you guys down there." Heather smiled, "Good because Tim will be joining us too." Jared groaned, "Who told him?" Heather placed her hands up, "I tried to stop her when he got to the hotel. But you know mom" Bella smiled at me, "I am just so happy that I am about to be a grandmother and have a daughter in law." Jared smiled as he walked us out to the car.

An hour later, Bella, Heather and I were walking around the mall. Heather looked at me, "Is your parents going to be there." I looked down as we walked into a baby store, "No, my mom died while giving birth and I never knew who my dad was." Bella placed her hand on my shoulder as I checked out a round white crib, "Oh dear. I am sorry. You have us now."

I smiled at her, "Thank you. You all have been so welcoming, and you don't know me from a whole in the wall." Heather picked out some onesies, "My brother loves you and you are carrying a Hunter. You are one of us and should be treated as such." I started to tear up as we looked around the store, "Thank you so much. You don't know how much that means to me."

They both looked at me and smiled. We walked around for a couple more hours while we talked and laughed about stories of Jared's childhood.

I walked into the hotel with Heather and Bella when I looked over to Jill who was giving a death stare across the lobby. I looked over to where she was looking to find Jessica standing in the lobby as she started to walk over to us. I looked back at Jill as she disappeared into Jared's office.

Jessica reached us as I saw Heather tense up, "What do you want, Jessica?" Jessica giggled, "I just wanted to say hi. I heard that the family has a big announcement later." Heather rolled her eyes as Jared ran out of his office towards us, "That right Jessica, The F... a... m... i... l... Y has an announcement to make to."

Jared reached over and looked at me with an apologetic look on his face, "Did you three had fun shopping." He gave me a kiss on my forehead. Bella smiled, "We had a blast. I can't wait for you see everything we got."

Jessica tapped her foot, "Hey honey bear." Heather and Jared snorted as Jared looked at her, "What do you want?" She sighed, "I was hoping we would get lunch." Bella smiled as Robert and another man walked into the lobby, "Sorry, Jessica but the family is having lunch today."

Jessica laughed, "Well if that is the case then why is she here." Heather stepped towards her, "That is because she is family." Jessica stepped aside as Heather took my arm and walked past Jessica. This woman is really starting to piss me off.

Jared walked up next to me laughing as Jessica stormed off, "Thanks Heather." Heather stopped in her tracks then looked at Jared, "She has no right talking about Sabrina that way. Where does she get off?"

Jared shook his head, "Joey is already on getting her removed from the property." Robert and the man with him walked over when the man said, "Bro, Jessica just doesn't take a hint. She was harassing me earlier about Sabrina."

Jared shook his head, "Dude, she has been hell for the past three months. I have been trying to get her off my back, but nothing seems to be working. I even introduced her to Sabrina. Speaking of Sabrina, this is my brother, Tim." Tim looked at me and gave me a hug, "It is about time my brother is settling down with a true woman. Between you and me, I say run. Run as fast as you can."

I looked at Jared as he started to laugh, "You are an ass."

We settled into the restaurant when we heard Jessica yell at Joey, "Serious Joey you are kicking me out." He looked into the restaurant at us, "You were warned that if you harassed the Hunters then you would be removed. We have gotten many complaints of you harassing the Hunters as well as the staff here. Consider yourself banned from all of the Hunter's Hotel and Properties." Jessica smacked Joey in the face as Jared got up, "Let me go help Joey before my Vice President ends up dead or arrested."

I looked down when I heard Jessica yelling at Jared, "You are picking that whore over me." My fingers curled into my palms.

I looked over to Heather as she put her fist into a ball, "Mom, I am going to..." Bella stopped Heather from getting up, "Jared got security over there now and is removing her. There is no reason for you to get involved." Heather looked at her mom, "She needs to stop talking about Sabrina that way."

Tim snorted, "She really does mom. You should have heard what she was saying to me." I looked down as Jared returned, "I am so sorry about that everyone." Tim looked up at Jared, "Jared, Jessica mentioned something that makes me believe that she is up to something." Jared looked at him with his eyebrow raised, "What did she say?"

Tim took a deep breath, "She mentioned a guy named Danny Spencer? I looked at Jared in a panic, "Jared" Heather looked at me as I went pale and Jared squeezed my hand, "He is Sabrina's ex." Tim looked at us, "How does she know him?" Jared shook his head, "I don't know but I am going to need up security around here."

Robert looked over to him confused, "Why do we need to up security." I looked away as Jared looked up the ceiling, "He abused the shit out of Sabrina."

Heather looked at me as I started to tear up, "What the hell?" Jared looked at her, "He will not hurt her again. I have seen what he did and never again." Bella looked over to Jared, "Seen what he did to her?"

He took a deep breath and squeezed his eyes, "I have seen the bruises. The night we met. I saw them." He placed his head down as he placed his arm around my shoulder and pulled me into him. Robert took out his phone as he got up from the table, "Eat, all of you. Jared don't worry. We will protect her." Robert disappeared from the table as the rest of us had lunch.

At five clock, I was sitting in Heather's room with Heather and Bella, "I think you would look perfect in this Sabrina." I looked up at her holding a long blue dress with diamonds around the arm straps that goes around to the chest, "It is beautiful, Heather but are you sure?" She smiled, "Of course I am. It is your big day."

I nodded my head as Bella agreed, "You are wearing it. Believe me when I say you are wearing it then you are wearing it." Heather laughed, "Momma always gets what she wants." Bella giggled, "Don't you forget it." She grabbed the dress and my arm to drag me to the bedroom in the suite, "Go get ready."

I stepped into the living room with the blue dress on. It fit around my body perfectly down to the ground. It had a split went up my right leg and the diamonds followed down on to my breasts, "Who do I look?"

Heather and Bella stared at me as Heather walked over, "Like a princess getting ready for her ball." I shyly smiled at her when there was a knock at the door. Heather smiled as she opened it, "He guys come on in." Joey, Tim, and Robert walked in first then Jared as he looked down at his phone.

Jared bumped into Joey when Joey stopped at the sight of me. Jared looked up with his jaw dropped. He walked over to me, "Wow. You look amazing." I smiled at him. "Thank you." He pulled me into him as he kissed my forehead.

I was on Jared's arm when he walked me to the front of the room as staff and family members were sitting at tables. Jared walked me to a table that was in the front of the room, "We are about to start. Just sit here with Heather for now. I will come get you when we are about to start."

I nodded as Jared walked over to his parents and Joey. Tim sat down next to Heather, "I've been looking into this Danny guy. Sabrina did you know that Jessica and Danny are cousins?" I shook my head, "No, He never introduced me to any of his family members."

Tim looked down, "Make sense. It looks like Danny was the black sheep of the family." I looked up when Jared walked over. He leaned down to me, "It is time." He took my hand as Heather and Tim smiled at me.

I stood with Joey and Robert as Jared took center stage with the microphone, "I want to thank all of the Hunter's family for making here on such a short notice and how quickly the staff was able to pull this all together. There is a reason why we have pulled all the staff and family members together like we did." He smiled, "We have a couple announcements that affect staff and family. First, we want to announce the promotion of two of our employees. Joey has been with me from the very beginning. I am proud to announce that Joey is now our Vice President of Hunter's Hotels and Properties. His homebased will be here in Boston. Now, Jill, can you step up here with us." Everyone cheered as Jill got up from her chair.

Jill and Joey stood next to Jared, "With Joey's promotion that leaves the management position open. Jill, you have gone above and beyond for this Hotel for many years and I would like to give you the manager position." She looked at Joey and Jared and gave them a hug. She whispered something to Jared as he laughed. She looked over at me and smiled as I smiled back. "Now that I have gone over the business portion of this meeting. I want to share a couple things that are going on in my personal life. Sabrina, if you can please come here."

I walked over to him as he placed his arm around my waist, "This beautiful lady right here is the love of my life. Yesterday I asked her to marry me and she said yes." I smiled as everyone cheered as Jared continued, "I have one more surprise. Sabrina is also pregnant. We found out a couple days ago that she is about five weeks along." Everyone stood up to cheer. "Please enjoy the rest of the evening with dancing, food and good company. Thank you everyone for your time." He gave a wink, "Just make sure to get back to work also."

Jared placed this hand on the back of my back and guided me to the table where Heather and Tim are smiling. Heather leaned over to me, "It is now official, everyone knows you are Jared's woman. No one will be able to take that from you." I nodded my head as I looked up at Jared as he stood with a pissed off look as he looked out towards the doors, "What is wrong?" He looked down and smiled at me, "Jessica just got the news."

I stood up and looked over to where Jared was looking. Jessica was standing at the door with her mouth dropped. She glared over to us then stormed out of the ballroom as Tim and Robert followed.

Tim looked over to us and gave us a nod. I turned to Jared, "Tim told me that he was looking into Danny. He is Jessica's cousin." Jared shook his head and pulled me into him, "I am contacting a judge tomorrow. I am going to get a protective order for both Jessica and Danny to stay away from you." He placed his hand on my stomach, "There is no way they are going to hurt you and our little one."

I looked into his eyes, "I love you." He smiled as he wrapped his arms around me, "I love you, too. Sunflower."

Jared and I danced, mangled, and ate before we headed back to Joey's house. I fell asleep on Jared's shoulder on the way there. I woke up as we pulled up to the house when Joey looked at the house, "Jared, stay right here with Sabrina." I sat up as Joey went into the house, "Jared, what is going on?" He pulled me into him, "I don't know, Sunflower." After a few moments, Joey appeared from the house shaking his head.

He got back into the driver seat as Jared looked concerned, "What is going on?" Joey sighed, "I called a car to take you and Sabrina back to the hotel. Jill is getting your regular suite together, now for the two of you."

Jared placed his hand on Joey's shoulder, "What the hell is going on, Joey?" Joey looked into the rearview mirror, "He is back." Jared's jawline tightened as his arm got tighter around me. "I am confused, who is back?" I asked.

Jared cupped my face and looked into my eyes, "Danny is back in the country. Here in Boston." I shook my head, "How do you know that?" Joey bowed his head, "He destroyed your room. He ripped your clothes. He even left a note." I looked at him, "What did the note say." He looked up at me, "No." I narrowed my eyes at him, "What did the note say?" Anger hit his face as he turned to me as a car pulled up along with police, "I am not repeating it. Plus, you need to get rest."

Jared nodded as he opened the car door and took my hand. He guided me to the car and stuck his head in. "Heather and Mom are waiting for you. I am going to figure all this out. I will only be a little bit." I nodded my head as he leaned in and gave me a kiss, "Larry, make sure she gets in the hotel safely. If Jessica shows up, make sure she doesn't get to Sabrina. She carries precious cargo."

Larry looked up into the rearview mirror and smiled, "I will make sure I keep an eye on her. She is safe with me."

Jared nodded then closed the door as Larry pulled off. "Do you travel with Jared?" He chuckled, "I do, I am his personal drive." I sat back, "He knew I was going to Vegas the night then." He looked up then looked at the road, "He made me turn around when he heard you were in trouble. He was supposed to be heading to Chicago that night."

I took a deep breath when I asked, "After you dropped him off at the hotel, He sent you to go get me?" He nodded his head, "Michael told him that Joey explained that your face was pretty face from a man before you arrived. Jared got on the phone and moved all his meetings around, so he was able to stay in Vegas with you."

I shook my head, "Why didn't he just tell me this when I met him."

He sighed, "You have to understand. He is a big CEO with unlimited funding. He was protecting himself as well as you. He was protecting you from Jessica." I looked out the window, "On how she was acting, I can see why. How did Jared get involved with a woman like that?"

He pulled up into the garage of the hotel, "Personally, I think she seeked him out for a while. She placed herself in his sight at the right time. Jessica seemed to just pop up at the right time. After a while, Jared just used her for the company. As for Jessica, she was using him for his status. I tried to warn him."

I slimed at him, "Hopefully after tonight's announcements she will back off." He gave a slight smile then shook his head, "Sabrina, when it seems like things die down, please don't let your guard down. That woman is dangerous when she doesn't get what she wants. The way she looks at you stole Jared from her."

Larry waked me through the lobby where Heather and Bella waited for me to arrive. Heather walked over to us, "Sabrina, When Joey called me and told me that someone broke into the house. I was so worried about you." She gave me a hug as Bella greeted Larry, "I am guessing, Jared is placing you on watch."

He nodded as he guarded us to the room. He opened the door to a large suite, I walked into the suite. There is a set of stairs that lead to an upstairs with rooms over to the right of the suite
