Chapter 4 Find Out Where She Is Going

The lengthened limousine had a good sound insulation effect.

Hugging his chest, Harris slowly opened his eyes.

"Coincidentally, you have the same thought as me."

Belle sneered and turned to look out of the car. "It's ridiculous. People who hate each other have to get married."

Glancing at Belle, Harris closed his eyes silently and didn't say anything more to Belle until the two of them stood in the hall of the Civil Affairs Bureau.

"Sir, miss, you two are too far away." The person in charge of taking photos felt troublesome and said, "Get closer. Don't put on a gloomy face and wear a smile. Yes, miss, your head is slightly aside."

The person in charge of the stamp looked at the photo on the marriage certificate, and then looked at the two people who didn't make eye contact. He asked again to confirm, "Are you married by yourselves?"

Harris frowned and looked back coldly.

"If you refuse to issue the identification, I have no objection."

The man trembled and handed the two marriage certificates to Belle and Harris respectively.

After getting the marriage certificate, Belle turned around and left.

Harris glanced at Belle and walked out unhurriedly without intention to catch up with her.

"Miss. Belle, you two have to make an appointment to take wedding photos." The driver felt troublesome and kept up with Belle.

Belle, who was already full of resentment, stood there for a long time before turning to look at Harris.

"I won't take wedding photos with you. You can refuse it personally."

After saying that, Belle left without giving Harris a chance to refuse. Harris stared at her back in silence.

It was not until she returned to the small house she rented that Belle put down all her stubbornness and curled up on the bed with grievance.

'Mom, I'm sorry. I didn't protect what you treasured. But don't worry. He said that as long as I marry Harris, I would take back your things from them.'

That was why Belle, who had refused to marry, agreed.

Belle had not enough strengths and powers. She could only sacrifice herself to take back her mother's things.

Belle touched her belly blankly.

Belle had mixed feelings. It was even more difficult to imagine that there was a baby in her belly.

Belle closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

Now that she had made up her mind, Belle had to find hope on this choice.

Three days later, early in the morning, Belle was woken up by her mobile phone. A strange number called her more than ten times.

"Hello." Belle said in a low voice, "In the early morning, you called me more than ten times. You'd better give me a reason to persuade me."

There was a moment of silence on the phone, and a low and cold voice of Harris came through the phone.

"I'm downstairs. Come down."

'Harris?'

Belle glanced at the phone and cursed in a low voice, "Tell me what you want on the phone."

"Come down. Or I can go upstairs." Harris said indifferently.

'That's nonsense'

"Go upstairs."

Belle rolled her eyes and hung up the phone.

Ten minutes later, the doorbell rang. Belle put on her loose pajamas and stepped on the slippers to open the door.

Belle leaned against the door and looked coldly at Harris. On her face, there was a clear sentence, "Say it quickly!"

By reflex, Harris looked at her long and white legs under Belle's pajamas, and frowned deeply.

"Shouldn't you wear more formal clothes?"

One was in a suit and the other was in a loose pajama. The contrast was too obvious.

"Mr. Harris, are you here to complain about my clothes at home?" Belle sneered.

Harris glanced at Belle and walked past her into the room.

"I have something important to tell you."

The way Harris behaved made Belle a little dissatisfied, but she didn't say anything and closed the door to follow him.

"Tell me the most important thing."

Harris sat down and crossed his hands on his legs. "We can get married, but there are some things that need to be explained in advance."

"Stop!" Belle raised her hand to stop Harris from saying anything. "I don't like your tone. I hope you can figure out one thing. I don't want to marry you either."

"Since you don't want to get married, why don't you refuse?" Harris sneered.

"You don't want to get married either. Why didn't you refuse?" Belle asked in reply, "Since we two don't want to get married and we have to get married, we'd better ignore each other, even after we get married."

Harris frowned slightly, as if he doubted the authenticity of the words of Belle.

Harris stood up from the sofa and tidied up his clothes. "After we get married, we two are still independent. I hope you won't interfere in my life."

"I have the same requirement for you." Belle raised her hands to the door and said, "Please, Mr. Harris."

Without hesitation, Harris left.

The two of them reached a preliminary agreement. The Bei family and the Ning family were also preparing for the wedding. Although the two families felt that the etiquette should be fulfilled, they had a tacit understanding that everything should be simple.

After all, the two families had been at the bad relationship for many years. Such a marriage between two families was always strange.

Two weeks later, Belle was going to hold her wedding.

Before Belle got married, she went back to the Bei family. It was rare for her stepmother and Bess to show a sincere smile to her. She knew very well that it was because she was going to get married.

Without Belle, Mrs. Iris and Bess would have a happier life.

At the same time, in the Ning family.

Standing in front of the bedroom window, Harris quietly watched the bustle of people coming and going in the yard. The coldness on his face was incompatible with the jubilant atmosphere.

His assistant's face was stiff. He walked quickly to Harris and said, "President, we found Miss Angel."

Hearing this, there was finally a warmth on the cold face of Harris. He anxiously turned to his assistant and asked, "Where is she?"

"International Airport." The assistant lowered his head and said, "Miss. Angel is going abroad, but we stopped her."

"The phone." Harris reached out his hand.

The assistant quickly dialed the person arranged at the airport and handed it to Harris after the phone was answered.

"Harris." The delicate female voice passed through the phone to the ears of Harris. "Don't look for me anymore. We're over long ago."

"Why do you go abroad?"

"Because I don't want to stay in this place, or even in this country." There was determination in her voice.

A hint of pain flashed through the eyes of Harris. He said in a low voice, "I want to see you for the last time."

"No!" The woman refused without hesitation, "You are going to get married. I don't want to see you again. Never."

Then she hung up the phone.

The assistant looked at Harris worriedly and asked tentatively, "President?"

"Let her go and find out where she is going."

After saying that, Harris took off the bridegroom's dress.
