Chapter 6 Instant Noodles Kiss

"Are you sure that you didn't get the money?" All of a sudden, Leo lowered his voice.

"Believe it or not." Joyce turned her head away and said angrily.

"Okay, I'll arrange a driver to pick you up tomorrow." As soon as Leo finished his words, he turned around and left the room.

Looking at the sudden quiet room, Joyce's eyes were filled with disappointment. 'Were we going to get entangled with each other again? What will Tracy do to me if she knows about it?'

At that time, Tracy rushed into Joyce's house with a group of bodyguards. She took out a money from a safe and threw it on Joyce's body to let her leave Leo. She still remembered that day. She cried and begged Tracy not to hurt Mason Chen as long as Mason Chen was safe and sound. Then she could do anything.

Thinking of the innocent and honest Mason Chen, Joyce cried bitterly. She needed to protect Mason Chen and be strong.

Joyce was stunned and exhausted by the Leo's house. She knew that he was rich when she was in a relationship with him in the past, and she could know that his family was rich from the attitude Tracy to her. But she didn't expect that Leo was so rich!

'Whose house need to walk for 15 minutes from the kitchen to the bedroom? If we had a meal before it's too late, we would have set off 15 minutes earlier to know when we would get hungry?'

While making instant noodles in the kitchen, Joyce complained in her heart about the huge and empty villa.

"Are you spelling noodles? Does it taste good?" The voice of Leo came from behind all of a sudden, which scared Joyce. Her hand holding chopsticks hit the hot pot accidentally.

"Ouch! It hurts! Can you make some noise while walking?" Joyce cried out in pain, covering her aching finger with one hand.

"Do you think everyone is like you who is able to walk the world shakily?" Upon seeing this, Leo rolled his eyes and grumbled at her. But he silently went to the medicine box and took the scald ointment for her.

"Thank you!" Joyce took the ointment angrily and rolled her eyes at him.

"Why do you thank me?" With a composed look on Leo's face, he rested his chin on one hand and stared at her.

"Of course it's not the scald ointment." Joyce bowed her head and clumsily squeezed the plaster all over her hand.

"Tut, tut, I really don't understand why on earth I liked you before when I lost my memory?"

With a disdainful look, Leo grabbed the cotton bud and applied medicine to her hand gently. Joyce looked down at the handsome face in front of her. He was so attractive when he put medicine on her wounds attentively. Joyce just felt that her heart suddenly skipped a beat.

"It seems that you were just attracted by my appearance, weren't you? That's why you let my mother get away so easily."

Feeling the burning sight of Joyce, Leo suddenly raised his head. He just caught the funny look of Joyce when she looked away awkwardly. Leo laughed and joked.

"Shame on you! You have never seen your mother's means. It was she who bribed our head of the design department, or I would be wronged?" Joyce blew on her cold wrist with the ointment, and then turned around to look at the half cooked instant noodles in the pot and continued, "in that case, it's what you should do to help me because I'm wronged because of you!"

"It seems that someone wants to go back on his words." Raising his eyebrows, Leo looked down at her.

"I'm not that kind of person? As long as you promise that your mother won't harass my brother, she can do whatever she wants to me!" Joyce was saying and fiddling with the instant noodles in the pot with her left hand. Her careless words made Leo behind frown.

"Did she threaten you with your brother?" Leo frowned and asked with hesitation. He knew the style of Tracy's life and believed that she would do something like this, so as soon as the leak of design draft happened, Leo immediately sensed that something was wrong.

"I'm so hungry. Can you help me take the noodles out?" Joyce, however, suddenly didn't want to talk about the past. She covered her belly and looked at the noodles in the pot pitifully.

"I have never cooked."

Leo stood still, having no intention of helping at all. Looking at the complex emotions flashed through Joyce's eyes, it seemed that the things in that year were not that simple.

"I know you young master is not busy at all. The noodles have been ready. Could you just put them in the bowl?" Joyce rolled her eyes and said with a plastic smile.

Upon hearing this, Leo's face darkened. He turned around and intended to leave, leaving her alone. But he suddenly remembered that today a servant went to the family mansion to help, then he stopped because he don't eat dinner yet.

Fifteen minutes later.

"Well, you are a good cook." After having finished all the soup in his bowl, Leo wiped his mouth with satisfaction and commented with a slightly disdainful look.

Joyce stood at the table unhappily. Her left hand couldn't compete with the strong man. All she could do was to watch him eat her dinner and then hate the food.

"What? Do you want to eat?" Leo asked with a smirk.

"Yes, I do. I'm hungry..." Joyce nodded. Before she finished her words, she was kissed by Leo.

Joyce was stunned. She opened her eyes wide and didn't know what to do. After a while, Leo released Joyce with satisfaction and asked with a smile, "How about the instant noodles kiss? Is everything okay?"

Then he turned around and left the kitchen flirtatiously, leaving Joyce shouting angrily.

"Leo! ! You bastard! !"

A few days later, the director of the design department, who was suspected of leaking the design draft, was removed from office and investigated. Because of a report, Joyce had a merits, and her working ability was directly promoted to the position of the director.

"Hey, hey, are you going to treat me?" Serena said happily.

"Of course, but not today. Because I have an appointment with a more important person today." Joyce said with a mysterious smile.

"Okay, okay, you are a woman of preference!" Serena curled her lip and shook her head, watching Joyce's happy back of leaving.

"Who cares more about her lover than her friend?" Henry suddenly asked from the top of Serena's head.

"You are very tall, right! You always say something like that over my head. If I was scared to death, you could take over my father's company, right?" Hearing Henry's voice, Serena was inexplicably angry. She turned around and cursed.

"It sounds like you can inherit your father's company even if you're alive. It's still too early to dream, my lady!" Henry shrugged his shoulders and teased her relentlessly.

"What do you mean? Tell me!" Serena fiercely punched Henry on the back.

At this moment, the phone in Henry's hand rang. He turned around and easily put Serena under his arm and answered the phone.

"Hello, Leo? Why do you treat me so well?"

Leo spoke on the other end of the line. While saying, Henry walked out of the company with Serena, who was now giving him bashes and kicks.

"Cut the crap. Don't forget to take Joyce with you." Leo replied in a cold and hard tone.

"I know you don't want to treat me sincerely. I heard that Joyce left a long time ago and she dates an important man! Oh! Leo, your woman has kept a wolf dog outside? Hello? Hello? Hang up on me?"

Before Henry could finish his words, the phone was hung up by Leo.
