Chapter 10 Unwilling To Explain The Misunderstanding

When Mason opened the door, he saw a few people that he didn't know. He frowned. The man in the front looked handsome, but he exuded a breath that no one else could approach.

"Who are you. . . . . ."

Before Mason could say something, he was knocked down to the ground by Leo.

It never occurred to Leo that Joyce betrayed himself and lived with the man.

Burning with rage, Leo strode past Mason and headed back to the house.

Hearing this, Joyce stood up immediately and looked in the direction of the door. She was shocked by the appearance of Leo.

"Why... Why are you here..."

But before she could finish her words, she was stopped by the soft lip of Leo.

All of a sudden, Joyce lost her balance and fell on the sofa. And on top of her, Leo was kissing her skin without hesitation.

"What are you doing, Leo? Let me go." Joyce kept struggling, but she was obviously not a match for Leo.

Noticing his sister was bullied, it was impossible for Mason to stand still and wait for death. Mason tried to free himself from the bodyguards and asked, "Who are you? Let her go, or I will call the police!"

After standing up slightly and glancing at Mason who was trapped by the bodyguards and kept struggling, Leo winked at the bodyguards behind Mason.

Hearing only a few screams, Joyce, who was under Leo, could not stand it any longer. She could not watch her brother be beaten.

"Let him go! Let him go!" Joyce was on the verge of tears and she was struggling to get rid of Leo.

However, Leo grasped Joyce's arm tightly. No matter how hard she struggled, she couldn't escape. In a hurry, Joyce bit Leo's arm.

Leo felt a sharp pain on his arm. Off guard, Leo let go of Joyce in a hurry.

Leo could clearly see the marks with her teeth, which were slightly red. The marks had Joyce's temperature.

Getting rid of the control of Leo, Joyce rushed towards the door without saying a word and hugged her brother's injured body tightly, tears rolling down her cheeks. She loved her brother since he was a little boy, so she wouldn't let others hit him easily.

Seeing that Joyce was crazy, Leo couldn't help but laughed bitterly. 'She was biting me just for the sake of her lover. You are so bad, Joyce!'

He clenched his fists more tightly and hit the back of the sofa heavily, making a dull sound.

"Stop!" The roar penetrated every corner of the room. Leo closed his eyes slightly and witnessed all the disappointment.

The bodyguards stopped hitting Mason, took a few steps back, and stood upright at the door.

Joyce was going to explain all this to Leo, but she bit her lip which was red before and left teeth marks on it.

'Leo is married. It's useless to explain.' She was tricked by the man who she loved seriously. Now it was useless for her to explain this.

She didn't make any explanation. The tears rolled down her cheeks. There was some despair in Joyce's eyes.

With a mockery and sadness gleaming in Leo's eyes, he stared at Joyce.

"What are you doing, Leo? Please don't hurt him. I will do anything for you." Joyce held Mason tightly. She was crying when she saw the wound on her brother's body.

The sight of Joyce made Leo's heart ache. Leo had never been humiliated like this before when he saw her holding another man.

"Joyce, are you such a person?" Biting his lip tightly, Leo looked at the shameless couple in front of him and gnashed his teeth in anger.

Leo didn't answer, but fixed his eyes on Joyce, seeming to look for an answer.

Seeing the sharp eyes of Leo, Joyce seemed to be a little guilty. She quickly turned around to avoid the fierce eyes of Leo.

"Joyce, I've never thought that you are such a person. You are so indifferent to your brother's safety in order to be with this man." A trace of despair appeared in Leo's eyes.

Upon hearing Leo's words, Mason seemed to have understood something. He moved his body with difficulty, trying to explain the misunderstanding between them for his sister.

Joyce knew what was in Mason's mind, so she held his hand tightly to hint him not to act rashly.

As she knew that Leo had already engaged with someone else, she realized that it useless for her to explain no matter what she said now. As for Leo mistook Mason, Joyce didn't want to explain at all. Since it was a misunderstanding, let him misunderstand her all the time.

Joyce stood up and looked at Leo. Tears were still rolling in her eyes. She said it just for the sake of Mason, not Leo.

"Yes, you're right. I'm such a bitch. I abandon my brother and keep a man in my house, regardless of anything else. How do you think of it?" Joyce said firmly without any hesitation.

And this made Leo more determined that Mason who was beaten black and blue was exactly the man raised by Joyce.

Noticing his sister's painful look, Mason couldn't bear it any longer. He struggled to stand up and pulled the corner of Joyce's clothes. When he was about to speak, Joyce stopped him.

"Joyce..." Leo was too angry to utter a word.

Then he walked up to Joyce and fixed his eyes on her.

"What are you looking at? Do you want me to prove that he is my man?" Joyce said directly. She just wanted to make both Leo and herself give up hope.

Looking at Mason who was standing behind Joyce with many bruises and scars on his fair face, and seeing Joyce's attitude, Leo finally couldn't stand it.

With a hint of coldness and cruelty reflected in his deep eyes, yet with a hint of mockery. When Leo raised his hand and wanted to slap the bitch in front of him, he finally put it down. He turned around and left her house with the bodyguards.

'I, Leo, never hit a woman!"

Noticing that Leo and Joyce misunderstood each other again, Mason was full of doubts, but it was not difficult to find out the unutterable relationship between them.

"Sister, why are you so stubborn?" As he spoke, Mason endured the pain and tried to catch up with them. However, he was stopped by Joyce. With a bitter smile at the corners of her mouth, she tightly held Mason's arm. There was still a glimmer of tears in her eyes, and she said, "Don't go after him."

"Sister, why didn't you explain to him just now? I don't know the relationship between you and that man, but I can see that he is really..."

"Well, that's enough." Joyce said impatiently.

She didn't want to hear any news about Leo any more. Leo did something impulsive just now. She thought that Leo would give up on her.
