Our cubs were blessed by the Moon Goddess, yet they never received their father's affection.

A crushing sense of despair abruptly surged within me.

Just as I was about to faint, a piercing sound shattered the silence.

It was my phone, announcing a new text message.

The image that greeted me was of a naked woman and a man beneath her.

I recognized him instantly-Eduardo.

He was in our car, performing oral sex on his first love, Paulina.

"His tongue was as flexible as ever."

At that moment, it felt as if a thousand needles had pierced my body.

My heart was in agony!

Eduardo had truly cheated on me.

But why hadn't I sensed it earlier?

As I collapsed to the floor, a sudden warmth rushed through my lower abdomen.

I felt my cubs about to leave me.

No, this couldn't happen!

I gathered the last of my strength to dial Eduardo's number.

The only car we had at home was driven away by him, and now all I could do was pray he would return to take me to the hospital.

After all, it was his cubs too-he had to come back to save us.

I comforted myself with this thought.

But after thirteen calls, there was still no answer.

The pain in my abdomen intensified, forcing me to curl up in agony.

I had no choice but to pay an exorbitant fee for an ambulance.

Yet after two hours, the ambulance still hadn't arrived.

"Someone's having sex in the car." The pack doctor reported over the phone. "There's only a narrow road, and we can't get through."

They also sent me a video.

In the video, a tall man shielded a naked woman, coldly warning the pack doctor, "No matter who you're trying to save, get out of here immediately..."

"Alpha? We received an emergency contact from your Luna..." The pack doctor spoke urgently, only to be interrupted by Eduardo.

"What urgent matter could she possibly have? She's just making a fuss to get my attention. If she's disturbing me now, it only proves she's an unqualified Luna. I told you, get out of here now..."

Eventually, the pack doctors were forced to take a detour.

Another four hours passed before the ambulance finally arrived.

By then, cold sweat and blood had covered my entire body.

Tears streamed down my face as I silently prayed to the Moon Goddess, pleading for him to protect my cubs.

However, my body grew increasingly heavy.

My hand could barely hold onto the phone.

But before I lost consciousness, I could still feel those faint heartbeats of my cubs.

Yet when I awoke, those feeble heartbeats had vanished completely.

The pack doctor looked at me and sighed deeply. "We couldn't save your cubs. If only we hadn't encountered Eduardo. He's already betrayed the promise he made when he bonded with you. Perhaps losing the cubs was fate's way of showing you the truth."

My mind was blank.

Tears slipped from the corners of my eyes, and my heart felt as if it was being crushed.

My Alpha, my once-beloved, had caused the death of our cubs.

As my cubs lay dying, his father was with another woman, having sex.

They harmed my cubs to death!

I struggled to breathe, suddenly feeling a sharp pain in my abdomen.

The wolf within me began to howl again.

I could sense that, at this very moment, they were having sex again.

My vision went dark, but a question filled my mind.

Why hadn't I sensed his cheating before?

Why was my body only now experiencing this pain?
