Chapter 2 Mr. Blackwood

Ava rolled over on the bed multiple times as the sun rays spread all over her face. She kept on chewing her lips slowly like she was eating something. She sighed as she finally stretched her hand, picking up the duvet and then she used it to cover her face for about five minutes.Unable to sleep anymore, she suddenly dragged it away and sat up on the bed, closing her eyes and opening them multiples times."Gosh.. what time is it?" She yawned and suddenly looked around, searching for her phone.

"Where the hell did I keep this phone?" She muttered and got up from the bed, that was when she realized she was naked."Aarghghhhhhhhhh!!!!!" Her screams echoed round the building."Are you alright?" Someone knocked at the front door and Ava laughed funnily, scratching her hair in confusion."Do I sound okay to you!" She shot and when she didn't get a reply, she figured out the person must have left already."Okay ..okay...Ava. Calm down and think." She muttered and sat down slowly."I'm in a hotel, stark naked and there's red colour on this bed, probably my blood but maybe not from my..." She checked her body to know if she was stabbed anywhere or something but there's none."Ava.. did you just sex someone in this room?" She muttered, hitting her head slowly. She just gave out her virginity, just like that to a stranger she didn't know anything but his name..."What was his name? What was his name?" She muttered, biting her lips. Her eyes suddenly widened as she remembered every fvcking thing she did last night."Ava!!!!!!"****"What happened to you? Why are you looking like a ghost?" Her mother asked the moment Ava walked inside. She looked miserable as she sighed."Mum, can I have a hot bath?" She asked and Lily blinked slowly, staring at her daughter."Where have you been since last night? I thought you were with Enamel but she called saying she couldn't contact you." Lily said as she walked into the kitchen, Ava trailing behind her. "Tell her I forgot I had a phone." She muttered, staring deep into nothingness. She suddenly felt a snack at her back and she jumped."Mum!!" She cried."Enamel said your boss is annoyed. Did you also forget you have a job?" Lily shot and that was when Ava remembered she was suppose to give a presentation today for a new project."Oh my God. I totally forgot. My boss is going to skin me alive." She muttered as she ran out of the kitchen, running to her room upstairs."Did you even have breakfast?" Lily screamed behind her."No,mum!!" She replied back in the same tone as she quickly got into her room and closed the door, undressing immediately.She went into the bathroom and brushes her teeth very quickly, before jumping into the bath tub."Jeez!" She muttered, her eyes closing as she soaked herself in the hot water. A little seeped into her p**sy and she closed her eyes tighter, enjoying it. Her private part was still hurting a little bit from last night and whenever she thought of it, she still cringed.But with a sigh, she decided to put it all behind her and promised herself not to take a sip of alcohol again, especially in a bar, where men fvck ladies without even knowing them.She agreed she had a lot of fault in it by seducing him even when he resisted but if he had just given her a slap on her head, she might have just gotten sober. "Eew....whatever." She murmured, remembering all the things she did. "Where did you learn those things from, Ava?" She asked herself, standing in front of the mirror. Thankfully, she didn't have any bite marks or something like that. "You'll be fine soon enough." She muttered.After taking just a slice of toasted bread, Ava got into her car driving straight to work. It was already ten minutes to 9, meaning she had only ten minutes before her presentation. Being absent would mean she could get fired, especially when she was always getting on Jaxon Lane, her boss's neck.Her car swerved right into the building and she immediately rushed towards the elevator, pressing the buttons severally. Unfortunately it was in use and not ready for her."What the..." Ava fisted her hands as she changed direction to the stairs, running hurriedly up the several stairs to get to the meeting room.Right at the door, she met Enamel who hurriedly gave her a smack on her shoulder."Where have you been ,Ava. The boss is fuming!" She shot and Ava sighed, making a baby face before entering the meeting room.Jaxon gave her a very long look as she walked towards the projector slowly. The way he stared at her made her legs shook and she stopped walking properly although she still got to the projector successfully."I'm really sorry I'm late. Some unfortunate things happened to me while on the way here." She lied. That was the only way to get herself out of this situation without being unscathed, although she knew Jaxon might still have something to say and he did."You should thank your stars our partners also had something unfortunate to deal with, else you would have been fired already." He shot and Ava pursed her lips."Do you take your job so lightly, Ava? Honestly, I'm beginning to think you are not so serious with your life." He added and Ava rolled her eyes secretly. She knew he was all up on this just because she had refused to succumb to his wishes when he asked her out a week ago. If not, who in his right senses would reject a perfectly fine proposal five times in just a week? Without giving a important reason for doing that?But Ava also knew he couldn't fire her. She was the brainbox of the company and getting rid of her would mean he wants his company down the lane. Honestly, Ava didn't know why Jaxon had a company when he couldn't manage it. All he did was sign a few papers here and there, then play around. That was the problem with the children of rich people, they always thought money came so easily.Ava sighed as she checked her time, it was almost 9:30 and yet their partners had not arrived. She looked at Enamel and Enamel nodded, taking the signal."What exactly is going on, sir?" She asked slowly and wisely as Jaxon was already not in a good mood."How am I supposed to know that?" He fired and she bit her lips slowly, regretting asking the question."We are really sorry we are late...." The door opened and Lucas stepped in slowly, before his boss did."It's fine." Enamel smiled with the best professionalism but Ava knew she was doing that because she thought the guy was handsome."We are glad you are here." Jaxon muttered, faking a smile to cover the anger he was feeling inside as he stretched his hands."Ooh..." Lucas muttered and made way for his boss to come forward, giving Ava the opportunity to sight him. Her eyes opened immediately, same with her lips as she stared at the guy in front of Jaxon."Ethan?"
