Chapter 4 THE CHALLENGE

The challenge began, and Lyra and Ryker circled each other, their eyes locked in a fierce stare. The air was electric with tension, and the pack held their breath, sensing the intensity of the moment.

Ryker lunged first, his claws swiping through the air, but Lyra dodged with ease, her movements fluid and calculated. She counterattacked, her jaws snapping shut mere inches from Ryker's throat. The rogue werewolf stumbled back, his eyes flashing with anger.

The battle raged on, the two alphas exchanging blows and testing each other's strength. Kael watched, his heart pounding with excitement and concern. He knew Lyra was strong, but Ryker was relentless.

Just when it seemed Ryker was gaining the upper hand, Lyra landed a decisive blow, pinning him to the ground. The pack erupted in cheers, their voices echoing through the forest. Lyra stood victorious, her chest heaving with exhaustion.

Ryker, defeated, slunk away, his tail between his legs. Lyra turned to her pack, her eyes shining with pride. "We stand strong, united and loyal. Our pack is safe, for now."

But as the pack celebrated, Kael noticed a figure watching from the shadows, their eyes fixed intently on Lyra. A new challenge was brewing, and Kael's instincts warned him that their troubles were far from over.
