Chapter 5 Today's Truth.

He offered to assist me in wiping out the splashes of water from my body, but I declined. However, after I must have been through with cleaning the splashes of water that was on my body, I noticed that he came with some clothes for me. He handed them over to me, and I anticipated, by putting them on.

Meanwhile, we went to the parlor that early morning, where we were served with hot coffee and after which, we were served with intercontinentally prepared fried rice and chicken.

''Just make yourself comfortable''Kelvin said.

''Thank you, Mr''I responded.

''By the way, what does your name say?''He asked me, while having a taste of the chicken that was served to him.

''Anabel, is my name''I answered him.

He nodded his head.

Also, I felt like asking him a few questions, but I reverted, preferring to speak something with him, possibly when we were done eating . Pending on how he would raise some targeted questions, which I know he would.

As soon as we were done eating, he walked me out for some strolling, still around the environment. He was just trying to show me around. I was pleased, and the experience was awesome, indeed. Though, I was having some thoughts in me, of him not being the rightful owner of the buildings I had seen. I knew that he could read what I was probably thinking in my mind. But he was silent, not wishing to give me a hint. I also saw the way different security personnels in the big compound were saluting him. Giving him much respect and loyalty, as if he was a man of high ranking powers and influence. All I heard them calling him, was ''Master''.

I was beginning to think that I am lucky, since to me, it was a miracle meeting with a man like him. But while I was still enjoying the pleasures of being with him, my mind never ceased to forget all I have passed through in the hands of my ex-husband. I wasn't only thinking about David, but also, I was thinking of Sarah. If anyone could tell me before now, that Sarah whom I have much respect and regards for, would do this to me, I wouldn't have believed. I suddenly remembered how I used to treat her in those days. How I used to shelter her in the house for days, while she was busy waiting to be employed by one the biggest job players in the state. I never knew that all this while, she would be having something secret to do with David. Infact, I vividly recalled that I brought Sarah into our former building, through the discreet knowledge of David himself. Still in my deepest thoughts, I heard words from Kelvin.

''Tell me why David and his security men kicked you out of the mansion''.

I kept silent. This suddenly reminded me that he may have known David, in one way or the other.

''If you don't tell me, I promise to get the police informed today. This is because I don't see any reason why a man or individuals should beat the living daylights out of a woman, and go scout free. For your information in case you don't know, such an act is a crime, and the men including David who did this to you, deserved to be punished by the law. Also, if I keep been silent in this case, it's also an offence on my part''Kelvin added.

His mood suddenly changed, meaning that he wasn't happy. Thus, he needed justice.

''How do you know David?. Is he your friend?''I asked him.

Although, I don't just know how to tell him that I am not really interested in such a case, because I know that even if the governor of New-York should escort me to the law court, I still wouldn't win the case.

''You really want to know who David is to me right?''He asked me.

Ofcourse, I was stunned. I wanted to know. I knew that he would have a connection with David, because from what I could see, he looks like one, who is in the same caliber as David.

''Follow me''He commanded.

We walked for a few minutes, before reaching our destination. Meanwhile, I found out that we were currently in one of his secret rooms in the mansion.

The moment we stopped, he pressed a button, and the light of the room, on.

I was surprised. I started seeing different pictures on the walls and on the ground.

I looked at him, and was expecting him to say some words to me. But he didn't. When I saw that he wasn't ready to speak to me, I decided to lead the conversation.

''Where are we, and why are we here?''I asked him.

He smiled at me.

''What do you think, and what are the things you could find here?''He asked me, without answering my questions.

''All I could see in this room were pictures. What are they for?. You brought me here to see and braze your pictures?''I asked him. Although, I was confused on what his real intentions were.

''You are not attentive''I heard him say.

''What!. I don't understand,''I said.

''Look at every picture here, and tell me what you can see. Atleast, one out of many of them, would catch your attention''He informed me. It was now I knew that he wanted me to see something. Now, I understand.

Meanwhile, I began to stroll my eyes on all the pictures, one after the other, trying to see if I could observe anything. The job was really heavy on me. I watched Kelvin. He wasn't bothered at all. He was just looking at me. I was beginning to think he was a kind of mysterious element.

However, while strolling my eyes and gazing at the pictures that were hanging on the wall, I was shocked to see something. My attention suddenly caught a picture where David, Sarah, and Kelvin, took a photo.

I immediately turned to him.

''Why did you snap at them?. You must have known them more than I do,''I asked.

''David works in my company, while Sarah is my secretary''He informed me.

I was shocked. I fainted on the floor.
