Chapter 4 A new kind of love..

I lost hope. I had no other option, but to bow to the will of my fate. I have really been through so many ill things in my life. The coming of David, my useless and stupid husband, brought evil upon me. He changed everything about me, and made me view life in another way round. I must confess!. I put so much trust in him. The guy exclusively cuts every connection I have with my family and friends, making and forming me into a loner. Something I never planned and wished for myself. Now, see what has befallen me.

By the way, if this Kelvin of a guy finally brings me before the police, what would I have to say to them?. That I was chased out of the house by David?. The point here is that I was even found lying outside the city, according to Kelvin. No one would believe my story. I would be tagged as a nuisance or as a criminal, just as what Kelvin has previously called me some few seconds ago. And in fact, even if the officers should believe me, they won't be able to handle the case properly, to ensure justice. This is because David has grown so powerful that even the police won't be able to do anything for him.

I wept in my heart, Seeing how my life was revolving. But it wasn't long, when I noticed a big gate that was opening before us. Kelvin had slowed down his jeep, and was now entering into a big environment. My heart jumped out in fear. Where could this be?''I asked.

One minute later, he finally stopped the car.

''Kindly come out, my dear''Kelvin said.

''What!. My dear?''I wondered why he was talking like that.

I came out of course. Before I could come out, I had already surveyed the whole environment with the eagle's eyes, and found out that it didn't look like a police station. Infact, there is no place in the whole of America that could have such a place with its structures, as a police station. Never.

While I observed the environment, a suited man came out from an unknown direction, and greeted Kelvin.

''Master, you are back. You delayed a bit sir''

''Yeah, that's because my attention was a little bit diverted to something unprecedented''Kelvin replied.

The suited man strolled his eyes on me, and didn't say anything.

Kelvin throwed his jeep's keys to him. He caught them, went into the jeep, and drove it to one of the garages that was in the environment.

Kelvin, then looked at me. He stretched his hands at me, and said,

''Come over here''.

I was reluctant. But when I remembered that I had no place to go to, I also stretched my hands towards him. He caught it. He smiled, and walked through the biggest mansion that we were facing.

''Come, let me show you your room''He said.

Meanwhile, the time was around 2:30 am now, and even though I just arrived from the hospital, I was feeling very sleepy. I was also tired.

I followed him. He held my hand, and took me up to the room very close to his.

''Stay here, my dear. Manage this room for the meantime. By morning, sharp, you would be given the opportunity to choose the kind of room you like''He revealed to me.

I was stunned. Seriously?.

In a few hours from now, I will be coming to check on you. But meanwhile, feel free to prepare any kind of meal you want yourself, as there is a kitchen for you in this particular room. The kitchen is very loaded with food of different kinds. Just make yourself comfortable'' He said.

I was truly pleased.

I wanted to say something, but he shut the door against me.

''Bye!''I heard him saying to me, from outside.

By the time it was full in the morning, I heard a knock on the door. Ofcourse, I could rightly guess who it was. I was happy, and thankful for the fact that he helped me by taking me to the hospital, and also giving me a comfortable room in one of the rooms to lay in. As I approached the door, the knock came again and this time, it was intense.

The moment I opened the door, I saw two men who were wearing dark security attire. They looked so strange to me, since I have never seen them before.

''Hello, what can I do for you?''I asked them.

''Good morning ma. We were only sent by the master, Kelvin''One of them informed me.

I shook my head, anticipating them.

''We hope you are fine, madam?''The next man asked me.

''Yes, I am''I replied.

Okay, we just came to check on you, since it's our job, plus us, been sent by Master Kelvin. Just feel at home, and in case you see anything you don't like, kindly dial the security number that is placed on the table of your room''He said to me.

Once again, I shook my head. They quickly left in peace.

I went into the bathroom to have a bath, so I could prepare for the day, before attending any day job I would be having.

As soon as I came out of the bathroom, I started hearing a knock again on the door. I went close, trying to see who it was. But nothing showed . However, I knew that someone was there. I asked who it was. But all I could only hear, was

''Open the door. It's me''I heard Kelvin saying.

I was happy to hear that. I immediately opened the door. But meanwhile, I was still tying on a towel. The moment he saw me, he strolled his eyes around me. He smiled. He came close to me, held my waist, and kissed me on my forehead.

''I believe you are getting better now?''He asked me.

Shy and shocked, I responded

''Yes''

He left me all of a sudden, as if he realized his consciousness.

He came to me again, and held my whole body.

''You are very sexy''He whispered into my eyes.
