I let go off my heavy gown as I stare at the maids.

wait,,, are all these gestures for me?

like is this what my mom means by My life being smooth?

"Thank you". I uttered after clearing my throat.

An elderly Maid stepped forward with a smile on her Face.

"I'm Veronica, The head Maid." she said and gave me a little bow.

I immediately stopped her.

"Nice to meet you Ma Veronica". I said with a chuckle. "The bowing shouldn't be added... by the way I'm old enough to be your daughter".

exactly,, she might be the same age with my mom.

so why would she just be worshipping me.

"It's my work and ethics Mrs Carter... I hope you don't mind".

"But..." I suddenly clamp my lips on sighting a figure staring at me from the Upstairs..

he was so distance that the moment he saw my gaze, He turned his wheel chair and drive away.

"Oh". was all I could say.

"Yh... we already prepared your Room Mrs Carter... if you don't mind"

"of course". I uttered out after pushing out some thoughts from my mind. "This gown is so heavy on me and I need an absolute rest.. it's so Tiring today". I blabbed and Veronica laughed heartily.

"It written all over your face My dear.. you need an absolute Rest.. It's not an easy something you know.. Getting Married today to one of the most wealthy Man". she said as she lead me to my room.

We took the staircase as Veronica kept talking nonstop.

on arriving the hallway.

it was just a long hallway with just 2 room doors.

one at the right and the other door at the end extreme.

"That is Mr Carter's room".

Veronica pointed at the Black metallic door at the last end.of the hallway. "And this is Yours". she point at mine which was A white metallic door with some silver designs on it.

"Why is their only 2 rooms here...

it looks somehow...."

"creepy?". Veronica corrected and smiled.

"yh". I said and turned to her. "is their anything going on here?"

"No my dear.. don't be scared. That's actually Mr Carter's choice.. but it's not by the 2 room doors. it is by the huge size of the room "

"yh and You know Mr Carter's condition.. he needed a huge lot of space to himself"

"ok.. I now understand". I forced a smile.and look at his door again.

"Let's head in". Veronica said and push open my room door.

and My breathing hitched.

"of course". Veronica uttered happily and began dragging me in. "we actually did a great job here.. Gosh,, I was so paranoid that you won't love the design"

"That door leads to the bathroom." Veronica said and I immediately staggered back.

"you're welcome". Veronica replied with a smile and took my hand. "Let's check the bathroom out". she said and began leading me to the bathroom.

"Actually... Mr Carter, Your Husband is a loner.. I'm sorry for saying this". she immediately apologize and I urged her to continue.

"he actually love being alone without disturbance.. it's mostly Hard for Mr Jayden to reach his brother. so therefore he you Know". she chuckled and I scoff.

"Come.. I wanna show you the last few surprise." she said and took my hands again.

"you can go ahead and unwrap it". she urged.

"My new Car?". I interrupted her immediately not sure of what I heard.

She smiled and pick it up.

"follow me." she said and I did.

she pressed a button and my curtains slide open.

she opened my window, the pressed the Benz button and the sound of a car filled my ear.

"what?". I gasped as my eye was glued to the car packed with a ribbon and flowers decorated round it.

"That belong to Mrs Carter... a Gift from your Husband Mr Carter". Veronica said and I felt so dizzy.
