Chapter 2 Prank

~ 002

Olivia's morning assembly was a blur as her mind was consumed by the encounter with the new student, Brian.

She couldn't shake off the feeling of annoyance and frustration that lingered long after their conversation had ended.

As she stood in the crowded hall, her eyes scanned the sea of faces, her thoughts drifting back to Brian's arrogant demeanor and the way he'd dismissed her.

A plan began to form in her mind, and a sly smile spread across her face.

When the assembly finally came to a close, Olivia filed out of the hall with the rest of the students, her eyes locking onto Gabriel, her ex-boyfriend, as he approached her.

She'd recently realized that his charming facade hid a more sinister motive - he only cared about one thing.

"Hey, Olivia," Gabriel said, his voice smooth.

Olivia rolled her eyes. "What do you want, Gabriel?"

Gabriel's eyes narrowed. "You know exactly what I want. We need to talk."

Olivia sighed. "I'm busy, Gabriel. Can't it wait?"

Olivia rolled her eyes and walked past him, not interested in rekindling their conversation. She had more important things to focus on, like dealing with Brian.

Meanwhile, Brian was having a run-in with Gabriel in the cafeteria. "Hey, you're the new kid, right?" Gabriel asked, his tone bordering on aggressive.

Brian nodded warily. "Yeah, I'm Brian. What's up?"

"Stay away from my girlfriend, Olivia," Gabriel said, his eyes narrowing. "I saw the way you were talking to her this morning."

Brian's confusion deepened. "Your girlfriend? You mean Olivia?"

Gabriel nodded, his expression unyielding. "Yeah, that's right. And I don't want you flirting with her."

Brian raised an eyebrow. "I'm not flirting with anyone. I just met her."

Gabriel's smile was cold. "Just stay away from her, okay?"

Brian shrugged. "I'll try."

As Brian walked away, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Who was this Gabriel guy, and why was he so possessive about Olivia?

When Brian walked into his next class, Olivia was sitting next to him, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. She got up and left, and Brian took his seat, unaware of the surprise waiting for him.

As he sat down, he felt a wet sensation spreading through his pants. The class erupted in laughter, and Brian knew exactly who was behind it. His books were soaked, and everyone was mocking him.

Brian's face burned with embarrassment as he stood up, trying to assess the damage. He glanced around the room, his eyes locking onto the empty chair where Olivia had been sitting. He was certain she'd been the one to prank him. The laughter and whispers continued to swirl around him, and Brian felt his anger and frustration simmering just below the surface.

As Brian walked out of the class, he overheard whispers and giggles. "Look at his pants! He's soaked!" "What is he going to do now?" Brian's eyes scanned the hallway, searching for Olivia. He wasn't sure what he'd do when he found her, but he knew he wouldn't let her get away with it. The game was on.

He looked up to see Olivia smiling mischievously at him. "Looks like someone's having a bad day," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Brian's eyes narrowed. "You," he growled. "What did you do?"

Olivia's smile never wavered. "Who, me? I have no idea what you're talking about."

Brian's anger simmered just below the surface. "Don't play dumb, Olivia. I know it was you. You're the only one who would do something like that."

Olivia raised an eyebrow. "Oh, Brian, you're so paranoid. Why would I prank you?"

Brian's face reddened with anger. "I don't know, but I'm going to find out. And when I do, you'll regret messing with me."

Olivia's smile grew wider. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots. What are you going to do, Brian? Take revenge?"

Brian's jaw clenched. "You have no idea what I'm capable of. You've just made this personal."

The tension between them was palpable, and the air seemed to crackle with electricity. It was clear that this was far from over, and that the battle between Brian and Olivia was only just beginning.

As the class continued, Brian couldn't focus on the lesson. He was too busy thinking about how he was going to get revenge on Olivia. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to come out on top.

After class, Brian walked out of the room, his mind racing with ideas. He bumped into his friend, Alex, who noticed his wet pants.

"Dude, what happened to you?" Alex asked, laughing.

Brian shook his head. "It's a long story. Let's just say Olivia's involved."

Alex's eyes widened. "Oh, you're in trouble. She's not someone to mess with."

Brian's expression turned determined. "I'm not afraid of her. I'm going to get her back for this."

Alex raised an eyebrow. "You sure that's a good idea? Olivia's not exactly known for her mercy."

Brian's smile was cold. "I'm not looking for mercy. I'm looking for revenge."

As Brian walked out of the school building, he couldn't help but think of ways to get back at Olivia. He spotted her chatting with her friends near the gate. Brian's eyes narrowed, and he quickened his pace, determined to come up with a plan.

Meanwhile, Olivia was oblivious to the storm brewing. She was too busy laughing and joking with her friends. "Hey, guys, let's grab some snacks at the café down the street," she suggested.

Her friends nodded in agreement, and they set off towards the café. Brian followed them from a distance, his mind racing with ideas.

As they walked, Olivia noticed Brian trailing behind them. She raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Looks like we've got a stalker," she said, nudging her friend.

Her friend turned around, and their eyes met Brian's. He didn't flinch, his gaze locked on Olivia. "Oh, that's just Brian," her friend said. "He's the new kid."

Olivia's smile grew wider. "Well, well, well. Looks like someone's interested in us."

Brian's face reddened, but he didn't back down. "I'm just watching out for you," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You never know when you might need help."

Olivia's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Oh, I think I can handle myself, Brian. But thanks for the concern."

The game was on, and Brian was ready to play. He smiled to himself, a plan forming in his mind. "This isn't over, Olivia," he muttered under his breath.
