Chapter 5 Catapault To Hell

Elsa's POV

The hellhound didn't wait longer, it pounced on each of the goblins and started eating them off. Instead ,the goblins kept multiplying ,it laughed hysterically, obviously catching fun by toying with the nettled hell hound. The fruitless battle went on for more time than my memory could record .

I was more concerned about getting J out of there alive and unharmed.

"Come on Elsa! think! that vikum you had bestowed on you should be productive" I thought to myself.

I mean I hate to brag but I Elsa accumulated the highest level of vikum in hell,I was like a worldly calculator. I looked at the battlefield as the hellhound kept devouring the multiplying goblins. Then my eyes caught it,at a far corner was a goblin looking unbothered yet fully concentrating on the raging hellhound.

I thought of the most rational approach,it eluded me initially but eventually I made use of my vikum.

"Hey dumbass! Got ya" I screamed facing the real goblin.It stared at me emotionless that I almost thought I got the wrong original.

" Foolish deity" it said again and I felt a rotten stench in my nostrils.I scrunched up my nose disgusted " finally sensing some fear from you, should I inflict you with arrogance to make it juicier?" I said teasingly.

"Foolish deity,I thought you were after the hellhound " the goblin said in a deep intimidating voice.I felt a strange sensation in my body, I was intimidated, I felt like dropping down on my knees and succumbing to it. The hellhound was still quite occupied to notice our banter. I was on my knees in no second trying to apologize,but being a badass myself I resisted the urge.

I struggled for control but I was failing, my mind drifted to J,his foolish smile. Then I felt it,like I was reawakened,I broke out of the goblin's spell. " Foolish goblin!" I retorted " I am sending your ass back to hell along with the hellhound" I muttered to myself with a cocky smile. To my surprise,it couldn't speak to me again,its voice ceased,and he stared at me with disdain. Then it hit me, my affectionate feeling ceased its speech compelling power.

I learnt something to add to the goblin record archive in hell when I eventually return. I saw the hell hound getting closer to us,its claws dangling loose ready to tear and crush.

"Goblin! I will help you if you help me send this beast back to hell" I said hastily trying to make a deal. Strangely it concurred with a nod

" once the portal opens, make yourself the bait and drag it to the gate,I will handle the rest" I said. To my surprise,I concurred again then it hit me again.

"The moment it couldn't overpower me,a goblin's power works against it and become its opponent's strength." Fantastic! I thought excitedly,I conjured a three dimensional portal hoping desperately the hellhound gets pulled into one at least.

The hellhound's gigantic footsteps sounded closer, almost deafening,I covered my ears immediately. If I was a human,I would have gone deaf on the spot. I moved out of the way as the goblin ran towards the open portal. I ran towards the opposite end of the portal, folded my bag further and backed it for safety.

I conjured a catapult with three Oogera stones ready to strike.

" Get ready old geezer" I screamed at the goblin which nodded in understanding.

The hellhound pounced on the goblin at that moment and the original rolled away leaving it at the mercy of a double.I hastily catapulted one Oogera stone which hit it on the ankle dragging him closer to the portal. Seeing the danger looming I catapulted another stone and to my relief,it pierced the hound's heart sending it flying into the portal.

"Gotcha bastard! that is for piercing my heart" I said pleasantly.

My enthusiasm died hastily as it commenced as I saw the goblin racing towards me with the dagger of doom. I prepared the catapult and the third Oogera stone flew speedily and hit the goblin's abdomen sending it flying into the portal.

" Sorry buddy,I had you in mind for the third stone from onset" I said, shrugging my shoulders as I watched its shocked expression till it got sucked into the portal.

I closed the portal with a swipe of my fingers " yeah,done with the runaways." My heart thumped loudly remembering my last punishment, killing J. I contemplated several times on it

" I am a deity,I am not supposed to give a fuck about a mere human child" I was still thinking when I saw death creating a portal for its departure,it gave me a soulless nod as usual and was about to flame away when I stopped it. "Wait! Pay me back for once.

" I said desperately speaking to it for the first time. " What do you want?" I heard the voice of death clearly in my head. It didn't speak with its non-existent mouth,it got into my head and modified its desire into my thinking.

" I want to keep that child alive along with its father." I demanded arrogantly. Death stared blankly at me

" I will make them die but live" he said bluntly.

I was about to protest when it added" I mean the dream world created to fit reality where you only have its key."

I was elated and nodded instantly with a grateful nod, death took a strand of my hair and made a world out of it. I walked into it and to my amazement,it was no different from earth,but was an illusion of it.

I opened my bag and released Felix and J into the illusion of their present abode with a Laura illusion there to aid in his care.

" I will come for you later my little one" I said while Felix just stared intently at me. I had hypnotized him so he has no memory of his harsh reality anymore.

I walked into reality and locked the door keeping the key by infusing it as my hair band.

" I will keep our little secret" I said to death which made a portal and flamed out.

"Don't tell me you befriend death now hun!" I turned and to my amazement.

Fleach stood there looking at me with a charming smile plastered on his face.
